This is the fashion forecast for the year 2014 /2015, called ‘english beat’. The co large represents the fall winter fashion forescast. The essence of this forecast is confidence, transparency, texture and multiple-layers. The colours have been derived from the images in the mood board. This fashion forecast evokes a musical rhythm and beat depicted through its sombre colour palette, repeated texture and multiple layerslike the notes of music that transcend a being into a personality of his choice, bearing a much greater confidence. 10

The feel of the mood board is very geometrical , rigid and textured. Therefore it was important to bring out the same in the explorations. *The first image has a rubber sheet with texture on it to give depth and a tactile feel. *The second image is a combination of a plain and textured surface with squares in perspective inspired from the mood board. *The third image has same tone of two diffrent colours composed on paper and is desired to be used for Ascort Chang collection. *The fourth image is a direct representation of the Brick wall image from mood board. 12

Special Thanks: The course woven apparel was one of the courses where I learnt a lot. I would like to thank my course faculty Miss Roopali Vyas and Neha Dave for being supportive of me and helping me out when I was stuck. It was a great learning experience for me where I got inspired by the works of other designers and tried to use the learning to make my work better. 42
