PASADA FUKUOKA with Rosemarie Aritaka

If Kanto region has the Skytree and Tokyo Tower, Kyushu region has the Fukuoka Tower. It may not be as tall as the first two towers but it is still considered as the tallest seaside tower in Japan, located at Momochihama, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka. It has 3 observation decks: one at 116 meters, a café and lounge deck at 120 meters and the highest at 123 meters above the ground with 360 degrees view of the surrounding area. The most popular time to visit is at sunset.

It was raining and cloudy when we visited Fukuoka Tower but it’s a splendid sight on a beautiful, sunny day. The tower appeared in the Japanese movie Godzilla vs. the SpaceGodzilla in 1994.
