We simply cannot let our guard down, not yet. We haven’t even received any news about the vaccine for the rest of us in Japan. We continue to strictly observe the health protocols, while we try to go about our lives as “normal” as we possibly can, day by day. A challenge to our physical and mental health, really, as tough and restricted our lives have become. In a way, this situation we are in now has forced us to take the “simple” route: just take life slow and easy, do things the simple way to avoid stress and use whatever energy you have to care for yourself! That would include the occasional outing for a breath of fresh air and to indulge in simple pleasures like people-watching while munching on oh-soyummy Takoyaki or Kebab at a bench by the roadside.
