There’s electricity in the air every day at Fremont Street Experience — both literally and figuratively speaking.
The six-block entertainment district in downtown Las Vegas is one of the city’s most popular attractions, drawing more than 24 million visitors annually. Offering direct pedestrian access to eight hotel-casinos — Binion’s, California, Circa, the D, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate and Golden Nugget — the bustling openair promenade has almost everything guests could want: gaming, dining, shopping and seemingly nonstop entertainment. At Fremont Street Experience, even the canopy guests walk under is entertaining! Suspended 90 feet above the ground, Viva Vision is the world’s largest digital video screen. Guests can watch free light and sound shows nightly on the 1,367-foot-long by 90-foot-wide screen, which boasts nearly 49.3 million LED lights and a 600,000-watt sound system. Shows run at the top of the hour from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. during the summer months and currently feature the music of such fan favorites as The Killers, Shakira, Imagine Dragons, Tiësto, Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers. Additionally, Viva Vision’s newest show, “MIXology,” features iconic songs across multiple decades and genres as it takes visitors on a visual and sensorial journey. The show Continued on page 34
