The Strip’s ever-evolving entertainment scene

When Sunseeker caught up with Shania Twain to talk about her Las Vegas residency resuming performances inside Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in December, the country superstar mentioned that as much as she missed being on stage performing during the COVID-19 pandemic, she missed being in the audience watching a show just as much. “One of the big things I love about being back in Las Vegas for my shows is seeing the other shows,” Twain said. “Las Vegas is such a hub. There are all kinds of new shows in town. That’s what I plan on doing on my off days in the evening — go to other shows and catch up on what everybody else is doing now after all this time.” The Entertainment Capital of the World won’t let live entertainment fans like Twain down this winter, as not only are there several new shows on the Strip to see, but also several beloved headliners offering fans something different to enjoy. Two legendary music artists are even scheduled to rock the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay when Carlos Santana continues his hit residency, “An Intimate Evening 22
