SUNSEEKER

Celebrating its fourth anniversary on Jan. 2, Esther’s Kitchen in the Arts District is one of downtown Las Vegas’ most popular restaurants. Known for its seasonal Italian cuisine, the rustic eatery serves an array of perfectly prepared dishes for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Even something as simple as spaghetti — made here with delicate strands of house-made pasta, Sungold tomatoes, basil and pomodoro — is an edible work of art. Other menu highlights include the agnolotti dinner pasta made with seared scallops, corn and lemon butter, and the naturally leavened pizzas. estherslv.com Although it only opened in September, Peyote at Fergusons Downtown is quickly becoming another local favorite. Guests can dine on the restaurant’s retro desert-landscaped patio for brunch or dinner while watching many of its dishes being prepared over an open fire. In addition to featuring a selection of signature dinner entrées like the Hen Gone Wild served over BBQ sauce, the New American eatery offers several exclusive items for brunch Friday through Sunday, such as its hearty breakfast burrito topped with fire-roasted salsa. Its Le Peche brunch Bellini is also the tastiest peach Bellini in town! peyotedtlv.com For a sumptuous dinner that’s sure to impress, look no further than Andiamo Steakhouse at the D. Perfect for birthdays, business dinners and anniversaries, the Italian steakhouse not only serves a selection of steaks graded in the top 8 percent of all beef in the United States, but also an array of impeccable Italian dishes. Whether guests order the tender veal osso buco, the succulent lamb chops or one of the handmade pastas like the Tortellacci Giuseppe in a creamy marsala sauce, tastebuds won’t be disappointed. thed.com
