Trish Hallam (Herbert, SK), posted the following in our Consultant Group page on Facebook after making the SOUPer Duper Soup Box:
I buy 1 of each of our kits every season change over, for many reasons...
1. To be able to accurately tell customers how fast & easy they are and how much they make.
2. I can also show how easily they can substitute or add extra to them if they want... example with the Zuppa Toscana I subbed spinach for kale.
3. I get asked often “do they REALLY turn out like the flyer pictures?”... YES!
4. Cost wise are they worth it? YES! They are inexpensive to make, especially when you watch and shop sales... plus there’s enough in the box to make more than just once!
5. You now can also share your own experience/photos from making them and easily answer questions.

Greek Naan Pizza Appies
• 2-3 Naan breads
(Shown on previous page)
• 2 Tbsp. Fresh Harvest Garlic Olive Oil
• 1 Tbsp. Mediterranean Greek Seasoning Blend
• 1 Tbsp. Oh! So Onion
• Pepperoni or salami slices
• 2 Tbsp. capers
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• Arugula or chopped fresh basil (optional)
Naan bread is thicker than a tortilla but thinner than traditional pizza dough, providing a crust that’s just right: not too heavy, but substantial enough to hold a generous amount of toppings.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place Naan breads on the prepared baking sheet; brush each Naan with Fresh Harvest Garlic Olive Oil and sprinkle with Mediterranean Greek Seasoning Blend and Oh! So Onion
Top with pepperoni, capers and cheese. Sprinkle with another ½ teaspoon of Mediterranean Greek Seasoning Blend. Bake in the preheated oven until pizza is crispy on the edges and cheese is melted, about 8-10 minutes. Top with arugula or basil, if so desired. Cut in quarters and serve as a warm appetizer.
Olive & Bread
Appetizer
• 1 baguette or ciabatta loaf of bread, sliced
• Citrus Habanero
Infused Olive Oil
• Assorted olives
Place the Citrus Habanero Infused Olive Oil in a shallow dish and serve with sliced bread for dipping; and olives. Great as an appetizer or served alongside along a wonderful pasta dinner.
“Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colours, there are only so many flavours — it’s how you combine them that sets you apart.”
Wolfgang Puck
A crispy, crunchy crust adds excellent flavour and texture to this deliciously-easy recipe for tender and flaky salmon.
Crusted Salmon
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 packet French Onion Baked Dip Mix
• 1 Tbsp. Oh! So Garlic
• ½ cup panko crumbs
• 6 salmon fillets (approximately .12 kg each)
• ½ cup potato chips, crushed
• ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
• Olive oil spray
Preheat oven to 425°F. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, French Onion Baked Dip Mix, Oh! So Garlic and panko crumbs. Place salmon skin-side-down, on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread mayonnaise mixture over the top of salmon. In medium bowl, combine crushed chips and Parmesan cheese; press into salmon. Lightly spray tops with olive oil. Bake salmon until internal temperature reaches 145°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 10-15 minutes.
Baked Brussels Sprouts with Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
• 15-20 Brussels sprouts, cleaned and trimmed
• 2 Tbsp. Fresh Harvest Garlic Olive Oil
• 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
• 1 tsp. Oh! So Garlic
• Salt & pepper
• 3-4 Tbsp. Hot Pepper Bacon Jam
Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine olive oil, melted butter, Oh! So Garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl, add trimmed Brussels sprouts and mix until evenly coated. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, shaking the pan every 5-7 minutes for even browning. Brush with Hot Pepper Bacon Jam and continue to bake for another 10 minutes. Place in a serving bowl and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if so desired.
Sloppy Joes are a popular comfort food and were first created in the 1930's.
The dish has become a symbol of nostalgic home cooking, known for its simplicity and hearty, flavourful appeal. The sandwich’s casual, messy nature is part of its charm, making it a beloved meal for family dinners and gatherings.
Spicy Homestyle Sloppy Joes
• 1 lb. (.454 kg) lean ground beef
• 1/3 packet Homestyle Chili Seasoning Mix
• 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
• ½ cup beef broth or lager-style beer
• 1 can (680 mL) tomato sauce
Brown meat in a large skillet over high heat; drain off excess fat. Stir in Homestyle Chili
Seasoning Mix and tomato paste mix until well combined. Add broth and tomato sauce. Bring to a light boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on burger buns and top with cheese, sautéed onions, pickles, bacon, sliced jalapenos or other toppings of your choice.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dessert Pizza
• 1 packet Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip & Dessert Mix
• 1 brick (250 g) cream cheese, softened
• 1 pkg. (468 g) refrigerated cookie dough
• Strawberries, kiwis, blackberries, or other fruits of your choosing
• Rollo Mini or shaved chocolate (optional)
Press cookie dough evenly in the bottom of a greased 12" round pizza pan to form crust. Bake 16-20 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside and let cool. Meanwhile, combine dip mix with cream cheese and mix until smooth. Spread mixture on cooled crust and top with fresh fruit, Rollo Mini or shaved chocolate. A dusting of icing sugar is also a nice finishing touch. Refrigerate until ready to slice and serve!

How to C.A.R.E. for your New Consultants
When you recruit New Consultants to Sunset Gourmet you take on additional areas of responsibility. Your new team members depend on you for information, advice, support and encouragement.
Use the C.A.R.E. Leadership Method listed below to get your relationship off to the best possible start.
C = Contact and Communicate
New Consultants require the most time when they are just launching their business. Contact your new Consultant within 36 hours of joining to:
3 Tell them, “You have made a great decision and I am thrilled to have you on my team.”
3 Review the Launch Party and the Quick Start Program.
3 Set up a time to review their Business Kit (if they joined with a kit).
3 Answer any other questions.
A = Appreciate and Acknowledge
Always be available for support and:
3 Show your team members appreciation by contacting them regularly.
3 Acknowledge specific successes.
R = Role Model, Review, Recognize, Reward
Leaders are not born, they are made. Do not worry about knowing everything all at once but make the decision to lead and be willing to learn.
3 So goes the leader, so goes the team.
3 Be the best role model you can be.
Phone calls are proven to create stronger bonds and a greater feeling of connectedness than text based communication.
3 Recognize your team for their contribution to team success; know what they have achieved.
E = Empower, Educate, Enthusiasm
As a leader you have the power to fuel your team. Stay excited and:
3 Empower your team members to succeed on their own. Walk with them – don‘t do it for them.
3 Review individual goals. Find out what your consultant wants to accomplish with their business and then help them develop an action plan. For example, if your Consultant wants to earn a specific dollar amount each month, walk them through our income plan and show them what their calendar needs to look like to achieve it.
3 Build a business partnership that offers education and support.

“When you make a choice,
you change the future.” Deepak
What you are not changing you are choosing
Are you living in alignment with what you truly want?
If not what changes can you make?
We all have the power to change our circumstance if we are willing to take action. Even the smallest change can have a significant impact on the outcome.
Our greatest wish is for you to have a very positive and rewarding experience with your Sunset Gourmet business. In a world filled with challenges and opportunities, the way
we think can significantly influence our success and overall well-being. The shift from a mindset of “I can’t” to ”I can” is not just a matter of positive thinking; it’s about transforming your beliefs, embracing new opportunities and taking action. It starts with setting goals
Set Achievable Goals: Break down your objectives into bite-size pieces; smaller, manageable tasks. Setting achievable goals makes the process less overwhelming and gives you a sense of accomplishment as you progress. Celebrate these small wins to reinforce your new mindset.
The first step to changing your mindset
from “I can’t” to “I can” is
awareness
Identify the beliefs that hold you back. Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” try saying, “I can learn how to do this.” This simple shift opens the door to possibilities and encourages a proactive approach.
Surround Yourself with Positivity
The people you spend time with can greatly influence your mindset. Surround yourself with positive, supportive individuals who encourage growth and resilience.
Practice Self-Compassion
It’s essential to be kind to yourself as you work through challenges. Understand that setbacks are a natural part of growth. Treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer a friend in a similar situation.
Visualization is a powerful tool for changing your mindset
Spend a few minutes each day picturing yourself achieving your goals. Imagine the feelings of success and the steps you took to get there. This practice can help solidify your belief in your abilities.
Changing your mindset takes time and effort. There will be moments of doubt and frustration, but persistence is key. Remind yourself regularly of your strengths and the progress you’ve made.
“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

Congratulations to our Newest Senior Consultant
Betty Michayluk
Prince Albert, SK
Congratulations on your September Betty, you had a great month in both sponsoring and sales!
In August, Betty welcomed two new team members, and they both completed all three levels of the 30-Day Quick Start Program. That’s incredible! By completing the Quick Start Program, her two new consultants started their businesses for FREE, receiving a $69 credit to offset the cost of their kits. In addition, they also earned a Sunset Gourmet Cooler Tote and a Sunset Gourmet Apron. As their sponsor, Betty also received a matching Sponsoring Bonus of $69 each. That’s terrific! We asked Betty about her team and their success...
First, I would like to congratulate two of my new team members, Celena Gunville and Trish MacDonald for completing all 3 levels of the 30-Day Quick Start Program!
Celena is a school teacher from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and we have known each other for years. Celena has worked with other direct sales companies and has wanted to join Sunset Gourmet for about a year now. When the new catalogue came out, Celena would set a goal she wanted to reach, and sure enough, she would do it. Celena also loves the Freezer Meals, as she is a billet mom for the Prince Albert Raiders. She gathers about 5-7 billet moms and friends for a nice afternoon of sipping wine and preparing meals together. Celena loves to entertain and show off the Sunset Gourmet products. Best of luck in your journey, Celena!
Trish MacDonald lives in Vernon, British Columbia, and is originally from Prince Albert. We have known each other for about a year through small businesswomen's groups. Trish also enjoys making stainless steel necklaces in her spare time and works in a retail shop. She began showing interest in Sunset Gourmet about eight months ago when she would come home for holidays and contact me for some products. We talked about the company and all the incentives, and after returning home, we reconnected, and she said she would love to join. I encouraged her to get her name out there by delivering catalogues to friends and neighbours. Some advice I gave her was to...
talk about the products you have tried and people will listen.
Trish loves to experiment with all the new spices. Best of luck in your journey Trish. Betty, can you share your Sunset Gourmet journey so far with us?
I have been with Sunset Gourmet going on 3 years. I absolutely love the products and the company. The support from head office is great and they are always there to lend a hand! A few suggestions I offer to New Consultants on my team...
Start slow and steady and you will see your business grow. Reaching out to family, friends, coworkers and neighbours and talking about the products brings sales.
I have grown my business this way, and by doing parties and trade shows. I’m looking forward to the busy season from now through December. I also like having open houses where guests can taste our products and then shop. Sometimes I will do Facebook lives showing our new products and taking orders that way. I also have done Freezer Meals just with myself showing the products and how easy they are to do. My goal this year is trying to promote the Freezer Meals more.
I want to wish all of you a busy holiday season and have fun with your business. Customers like that and can feel your enthusiasm and excitement.
1 2 3 earn a Sunset Gourmet Insulated Cooler Tote when you reach $300 Qualifying Volume Sales in your first 30 days. First...
a Sunset Gourmet Logo Apron when you reach $600 Qualifying Volume Sales in your first 30 days.
