Letter from the Editor
2008-2009 Board of Directors President:
Happy New Year everyone!
Executive Board
OK, so I’m a little late. Sorry about that. A decision was made that since we voted to not have a December meeting, then a newsletter for December was unnecessary.

On a lighter note, I must extend my congratulations to Melvin Dill, our new Chapter Treasurer. Melvin joined our chapter not too long ago, and I can tell he will spend many years with us. I had the great pleasure to ride with Melvin in the Veteran’s Poker Run a few months back, and let me tell you, there is not a nicer guy in the world. For those of you that know him, and those that will soon meet him, I know you’ll agree.

Message From The President First off I would like to thank everyone who came out to our emergency meeting to elect a new treasurer. I was very impressed by the turnout. It just goes to show you that when crisis or a potential crisis is at hand we can all come together to extinguish the flames.
Our new treasurer is Melvin Dill a retired Marine and a member of CMA. We are all very proud of him for stepping up. Everyone come out to our next meeting and meet Melvin and buy some t-shirts so he’ll have some money to deposit into our account. The State Meeting is on 14 Feb, Valentine’s Day, in Pensacola. We are pitching the poker run for the Freedom Rights Rally in April. Watch for the flyer in an upcoming newsletter. Since the state meeting is on Valentine’s Day weekend, we have voted to move the general meeting, which is supposed to be Sun the 15th, to Sun the 22nd. Same time. Two o’clock PM. same place, Two Nichols Rest. Don’t forget Bike Week coming up. April and I will be at the ABATE Campground all week long, so come out and visit us. See you in the wind,
Big Mike
