ADOBE was recently advised that a 5G cell tower is projected to be located behind Bashas’ Grocery Store in Gold Canyon. ADOBE approves a process that will bring better telephone service to Gold Canyon citizens by addressing the dead zones; however, it does not approve where the tower is planned to be located. When the original idea came to the fore, the tower was to be located west of Superstition Mountain Drive, nearer to Silly Mountain, thus out of our view for the most part and not near citizens who visit and work in Bashas’ Shopping Center and citizens who would be residing directly in the shadow of the tower. An expert in the field who is actually involved in this project advised ADOBE that even if the tower is placed in its desired location, major parts of the Don Donnelly Trail area will still be in a dead zone. Thus, the mission is not accomplished.
As of the date of writing this message, it appears that Pinal County P&Z will discuss this matter at their May 16, 2024, meeting for approval or disapproval. ADOBE has also been told that a public meeting will be held sometime around May 1, 2024. At this time, however, the date, time, and location are unknown. Most citizens are familiar with the county’s large yellow broadcast signs that are located near the site of a new proposal. At some point - date unknown - a 3x5 type card will be placed on that large yellow broadcast sign, giving the date, time, and location of the public hearing. If you approve or disapprove of the tower, citizens can address their personal perspectives at that public meeting. However, if you approve or disapprove of the tower, it is best, ADOBE has been told, to email Planningdivision@ pinal.gov and tell the commission members of your view on this matter. It is critical that you place the project code in your email, which is 10409013A SUP-035-23.
ADOBE understands the tower will be a five-story (around 70’-14’ per story) structure (plans could include at some point raising that footage). This location will also have a fencedin area of approximately 18’x18’ and a building

of approximately 44’X20’. ADOBE proposes it is important to note that multiple internet sites give information on the alleged radiation effects caused by this ultra-wideband technology (5G). These sites elaborate on alleged 5G electromagnetic fields that impact the body and the mind. There is much research on the alleged medical issues faced by citizens exposed to the effects of this type of radiation. Conversely, much research also disagrees, stating that the radiation generated is within governmental limits. A Gold Canyon citizen who has worked in this industry contacted this writer and explained how cell tower radiation had destroyed his life, causing continuous cascading physical and mental issues, and that the radiation effects of such a tower extend far beyond the tower site.
Since there is continuing discussion on the alleged effects of 5G radiation, ADOBE firmly opposes the proposed cell tower location, primarily from an aesthetic and environmental perspective. We believe there are more suitable solutions to address the dead zone issue than installing a five-story structure that will mar the aesthetics of a major citizen gathering place and a large residential area; there are other options to consider for placing this tower. From an environmental standpoint, for example, a looming tower next to Route 60 will be seen by all while marring the character of our community, blocking sunsets and majestic views, and emphatically lowering home sale prices. Concerning cell phones, one option in a dead zone is to use a Wi-Fi call to override the system. Websites are posted that explain this process for both iPhone and Android users.
If you are interested in this issue, please use your God-given right to express your thoughts, positive or negative.
ADOBE wishes all Gold Canyon citizens, fulltime and part-time, an awesome summer 2024.

Community Leaders Applaud First HOA Summit
By Betty BowesIt was a full house at the new Gold Canyon Community Center on March 27th. The attraction was the first-ever gathering of neighborhood leaders coming together to share interests, concerns, and best practices for the common good of Gold Canyon.
Initiated by Gold Canyon Community, Inc. (GCCI) board members Terri King and Mike DeRosa, the summit drew representatives from 18 Homeowner Associations (HOAs) as well as non-HOA neighborhoods, along with Pinal County District 5 Supervisor Jeff Serdy and several Pinal County department heads and planners. “With the fast pace of growth and development we’re witnessing around us,” says King, “we need to come together to protect and preserve the beauty, serenity, and lifestyle we all came here to enjoy. One loud collective voice carries more weight than several individual voices. This is a chance for our community leaders to get to know each other and create a network for the flow of ideas and solutions.”
Supervisor Serdy called the gathering “as close as we can get to a group of elected officials in unincorporated Gold Canyon.” He went on to map out future development and

transportation plans for the nearby area, as well as Pinal County in general. GCCI board members gave updates on their respective projects: Dick Richards on water conservation and Isabelle Petersen on the Dark Sky initiative. Superstition Foothills HOA President Joe Hacker reviewed his neighborhood’s progress in joining FirewiseUSA. Both the Supervisor and Pinal County officials took questions from the audience and gave updates on projects of specific interest to the group.
In closing the meeting, King asked for a hand vote on the interest and value of having future summits. The result was unanimous. Look for another such meeting in the next three to six months.

Wreaths Across America
By Nancy FassbenderIt is getting to that time of year, where we start finding sponsors for the Wreaths Across America Remembrance Day, which will be held this year on December 14, 2024, at 9:30am at the Mountain View Cemetery.
I have been busy planning the ceremony and each year is different than the last. We also had about 600 sponsors (you) and had Bashas with the Donuts, Coffee by Starbucks and Texas Roadhouse fed us a delicious BBQ sandwich after the wreath laying.

What’s happening with Arizona’s Water Supply?
By: Robin RotellaArizona's 100 Year Water Plan, developed in the 1980s, plays a pivotal role in sustaining the state's economyand fostering growth. The plan, rooted in legislation like ARS Title 45, categorizes water supply into four types,(Surface Water, Groundwater, Rainwater Harvesting and Desalination) and provides the legal and physicalinfrastructure needed to maintain a 100-year assured water supply to meet the state’s current and futureneeds.
A Secure Water Future
On June 1st, 2023, the Phoenix Active Management Area (AMA) Groundwater Model was unveiled, providinginsights into water level changes. The model identifies a potential 4% gap in groundwater demand in thePhoenix metropolitan area, prompting a $40 million investment from the American Rescue Plan Act. Thisfunding aims to enhance water conservation, support essential water infrastructure, and foster sustainablegroundwater management statewide.
This year, I am pleased to say that Texas Roadhouse on Power Road in Gilbert will be doing this again. So please when you do stop in, tell James or Kari thank you for doing this.
Many of you came to this honorable day last year and I hope you all enjoyed the ceremony and I thank all of you in sponsoring Wreaths as well as volunteering not only preparing the day before but helping teach our youth what this means and was there the following month to clean up the cemetery.
Many of you participated in the BOGO sponsorship in January. This helped us quite a bit as there are 2300 interred Veterans in this cemetery this year.
If you know of any volunteers/sponsors who would like to help with not only sponsoring a wreath for $17 or would like to sign up to be a volunteer again this year, please email me at nfass@hotmail.com; I am starting the 2024 volunteer list. Please help us cover all the interred veterans again this year.
This year, we will be at the Memorial Day event at Mountain View Cemetery 7900 E Main, Mesa, AZ. This will be on May 27, 2024, at 9:00am. This is another special honorable event. Please come out and give honor to our fallen veterans. Please stop by our table and say hi!
Thank you so mwuch for your participation. Without you, our Veterans would not be recognized, and our youth would not understand what freedom is!

Arizona's Assured Water Supply Program maintains the nation's mostrigorous water management standards, ensuring the state's water future is secure.
Our Population Has Exploded, But
Not Water Use
Despite a population explosion to 7.4 million, Arizona has reduced its water usage to 1950s levels. Thisachievement is attributed to increased efficiency, conservation efforts, and a reduction in agricultural land, amajor water consumer. Municipal water use, constituting only about 20% of the state's water demand, showcases Arizona's commitment to responsible water consumption.
Arizona has stored water underground for years
Arizona has proactively managed its water challenges by storing five times more water than it consumes. With 13.2 million acrefeet stockpiled, including 7.1 million in Greater Phoenix, the state has a robust waterreserve. This, coupled with strategic pumping from the Colorado River, showcases Arizona's resilience duringdroughts. Unlike other Mountain West states, it has never enforced municipal or residential usage restrictions,a testament to its effective water management strategy.
We're better prepared than other states
Arizona excels in water assurance, thanks to a cutting-edge groundwater program and proactive droughtplanning. Phoenix, as an Active Management Area (AMA), exemplifies responsible growth through strongconservation initiatives. Despite covering a smaller land area, AMAs, including Phoenix, guarantee watersecurity for over 75% of the population for a century. Arizona's forward-thinking establishes it as a leader inwater assurance, outpacing other states in preparedness.

RITA’S AMAZING ARTICHOKE AGAVE!
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, if that is true this article is going to be way over the number of words I normally print here.
One of my readers contacted me March 30th 2023, with what she thought was a great topic for an article. After seeing her photos of her prized Artichoke Agave (AKA Agave parryi var. truncata) starting to bloom I heartedly agreed with her.
This truncata variety originates in the Mexican state of Durango, but the tight form, bright blue-grey color and large leaves have made it a favorite of collectors around the world.
From Rita’s first contact of March 30 to the last picture shown, the bloom grew an estimated fifteen feet. It continued to grow a bit more through May and finally died during the summer. When it was removed in September it was just a husk and dried stalk.
This behavior is common for most Agaves, whose common name ‘century plant’ refers to the myth that these succulents bloom once a century. My hat’s off to you Rita and many thanks for sharing your Amazing Artichoke Agave story with my readers.

Staff Picks From April FROM AJ PUBLIC LIBRARY
Sure, I’ll Join Your Cult by Maria Bamford, recommended by Meg
A comedic masterpiece that showcases Bamford’s unique talent for blending humor with introspection. From the outset, Bamford’s wit and insight shine through as she navigates the absurdities of life and the quirks of her own experiences. The book is a delightful rollercoaster of hilarity, offering readers a front-row seat to Bamford’s distinctive comedic perspective. Through her anecdotes and observations, Bamford finds humor in even the most mundane aspects of existence.
The Maid by Nita Prose, recommended by Tracie
“When all else fails, tidy up” is one of the phrases Molly the Maid has learned from her dear grandmother who tried to help Molly cope with the real world. Molly knows she is different “because we don’t experience life in the same way”. The attitude of “I don’t cut corners, I shine them” is how Molly becomes adept at her job and how she becomes a suspect in the murder of Mr. Black.
The Summer Book Club by Susan Mallery, recommended by Trish
The book club has become a very small group for the summer: longtime best friends Laurel and Paris. Cassie is new to Los Lobos and the three quickly become friends - now we have 3 book club members. Each has her own relationship fears to address and they each find the courage through friendship to decide to take a chance on love - now the book club has 6 members. This is a light and humorous summer read.
A Flicker in The Dark by Stacy Willingham, recommended by Debbie
Chloe Davis is a psychologist in Baton Rouge and is planning her wedding to Daniel. When she was 12, her father confessed to the murder of six girls who had gone missing. Aaron Jensen, working for the New York Times, calls her requesting an interview for an article he is writing about the killings. Chloe tells Aaron that she hasn’t had any contact with her father. She
hears that a teenager, Aubrey, is missing. This brings back memories. When a second girl – a patient of hers, no lessgoes missing within a week, she wonders if someone is trying to imitate her father. As she begins to discover her fiancé may be hiding something from her, a third girl with a connection to her goes missing. What is happening? Who can she trust to talk to? Plenty of clues, but who did it… and why?
Ghosts of the Orphanage: A Story of Mysterious Deaths, a Conspiracy of Silence, and a Search for Justice by Christine Kenneally, recommended by Megan S.
Christine Kenneally’s 2018 expose of St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Burlington, Vermont, brought eyes to a collective trauma endured by generations of children. Her new book expands on her article, while adding the experiences of other children who also grew up in orphanages and experienced similar punishments and abuse. Her book is meticulously researched, with documentation, interviews, photographs, recordings, and dogged old-fashioned journalism combining to create a distressing picture of these orphanages. Occasionally this book felt a bit scattered, but Kenneally always comes back to pick up pieces that might feel dropped along the way. While the survivors of these orphanages haven’t had a lot of justice in their lives, hopefully this book can help shine a light on their experiences and ultimately their truth.
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng, recommended by Louise
Ng explores some big themes in her second book: the mother-daughter relationship in several of its myriad iterations, classism, racism. But it is the assumptions behind what makes a family that makes this book hum along.
Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake, recommended by Megan C.
This book isn’t for everyone, but if you’re a fan of angsty characters that are flawed, raw, and incredibly human, you’ll like Alone With You in the Ether. Dripping with indie film energy, an artist and mathematician meet in an art museum. After 6 conversations their complicated lives become inexplicably intertwined. With lyrical prose, a dual protagonist structure, and stylistic writing that captures the characters’ thoughts and feelings, Blake creates a philosophical yet poetic love story. As well as a realistic look into living with mental illness in both main characters. For fans of Sally Rooney’s Normal People, this moody modern romance asks the question, “How do you love even when you’re broken?”

ESTROGEN DOMINANCE
LOSING THE HEALTHY HORMONAL BALANCE
Insomnia, mood swings, irregular bleeding, irritability, anxiety, water retention, low thyroid symptoms, depression, fat gain (especially around hips, thighs, and abdomen), fibrocystic breasts, uterine fibroids, and low sex drive. If you’re a woman approaching middle age, there’s a good chance that you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms Often my patients ask me, “Am I going crazy? Why does it seem like my body is rebelling against me?” The answer may be as simple as having too much estrogen in your system—a condition known as estrogen dominance
Most women are aware that as they enter perimenopause their bodies begin to produce less estrogen. So how is it possible that along with that decrease the body may actually have too much estrogen?
The answer is that estrogen dominance may be caused by a progesterone deficiency. A decade or so before actual menopause the woman may stop ovulating, which causes a lack of production of progesterone from the ovaries. Menstrual cycles will continue even without the progesterone so there is no awareness that the lack of progesterone is causing symptoms of hormonal imbalance. In perimenopause and the menopausal and post-menopausal years estrogen levels drop 40-60%, but without ovulation, progesterone output drops to nearly zero. If the ratio of progesterone to estrogen is low, you have estrogen dominance.
However, it’s not just middle-aged women who can suffer from estrogen dominance. Younger women can experience it, too, in the form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) The hormonal imbalance in this case may be linked to toxins, contraceptive use, stress, extremes in diet and exercise, or xenoestrogens found in foods. It can also affect men (yes, men have estrogen, too!), causing enlargement of the prostate and enlarged breast tissue.
Saliva hormone testing combined with a thorough history of symptoms can accurately determine an imbalance of hormones. The results of specific hormone testing coupled with a patient’s history of symptoms will provide a basis for an individualized treatment program for the patient. (I’m a real patient advocate when it comes to choosing a testing laboratory—the prices and quality of tests can vary greatly and I spend a good deal of time on “comparison research” before ordering labs for my patients )
Once a patient’s individual needs have been assessed and a treatment protocol has been started, I’ll closely monitor a patient’s hormone levels with follow-up testing. The goal then is to achieve the proper balance of estrogen and progesterone by supplementing with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (if needed), or homeopathy and botanicals. The success of the treatment is measured not only by the hormone levels in the body but also by a reduction of the symptoms that caused the patient to seek help in the first place!
NATIONAL VIETNAM VETERANS DAY - MARCH 29TH

Many of you know that I am also with the USA Vietnam War Commemoration. I have done over 150 ceremonies and have traveled not only around Arizona but in other states.
On Friday, March 29th I was invited to be in Washington DC. I was asked to invite 3 Vietnam Veterans from the area who were involved in the community. (Michael Overmeyer, Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 2560, Frank White, former VFW 7968 Commander, and Phillip Todd.)
We are honored to be invited and represent Arizona and to be in the ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. We each were assigned a Junior Officer. We were escorted down to the Vietnam Wall during the ceremony and honor each branch of service.
March 29th is the National Vietnam Veterans Day. It is to honor all veterans who served during November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975. It does not matter if you served In Country, In State, In Another Country or Vietnam. You are honored!
Those who would like to watch this broadcast, Please type in this website and it will be on their front page. www. vietnamwar50th.com
All of us were so honored to be doing this. I am still flying off the ceiling.
I also have been interviewed by the Wreaths Across America radio station. Yes, they have their own station! If you would like to listen to the interview, https://on.soundcloud.com/ dMw6R39oQRZsXJk87

WELL PLACE
CELEBRATING LIFE'S MILESTONES

Milestones are an important aspect of life. It is essential to acknowledge your achievements even if you do not think they are huge or life changing. Celebrating milestones allows for reflection on the meaningful moments in life. Every achievement deserves its moment in the spotlight, contributing not only to the fulfillment of the moment, but producing the perseverance needed for future endeavors.
Milestones are defined as those crucial moments in life that you want to remember. The moments that shape your life and give you something to look back on and be proud of. These accomplishments can span various areas including career, business, family, education, relationships, and personal growth.
This month marks the 5th year anniversary of The Live it Well Place in Gold Canyon. The initial goal to create a center for Health, Wellness, and Fitness with emphasis on establishing a personalized journey started with just 4 instructors and a minimum of weekly classes. This month, as we mark this exciting milestone, there are now 12 dedicated instructors in a multitude of fitness options, 4 independent Wellness Services to include Massage, Reflexology, Assisted Stretch, and a Naturopathic Doctor. Numerous events, workshops, and retreats are also held throughout the year. These caring and devoted professionals are a huge part of this successful and thriving business. But most importantly, we want to thank and acknowledge the community that embraces and supports the opportunity for a personalized journey to health and fitness. The achievement, the vision, the persistence, and the shear enjoyment of this milestone are worth celebrating.
What milestones do you have to celebrate this month or year? Milestones come in all shapes and sizes. The list may include completing an important work project, signing up for a fitness class, finishing a major household remodel, concluding a task, or any number of other large or small accomplishments. The fact is, in this fast-paced world, we often get wrapped up in jumping right into the next task — and forget to congratulate or reward ourselves. Life accomplishments are not just about external achievements; they also include internal transformations and personal growth of your unique journey.
Honoring your achievements not only feels good, but it has numerous psychological benefits. For example, celebrating milestones provides structure. Rewarding yourself for each success, even small ones, gives you something to look forward to. Did you know that individuals who reflect on and celebrate achievements will be more optimistic, take better care of themselves, and experience less stress?
We all experience major milestones in life that help us reflect on where we’ve been, who we’ve met, and what we’ve done. Here’s a few reasons why celebrating milestones is so important.
A Reminder of What You Have Achieved
It is important to appreciate your achievements from time to time. Any milestone or anniversary provides the ideal opportunity for you to do just that. Taking note of what you have achieved over the past year, or all your years together, can serve to remind you of what you have achieved.
A Chance to Reflect
In addition to taking stock of your achievements, celebrating milestones is a good way to reflect on all the good or bad times you have had and what that has meant for you. Reflecting on having the strength to overcome any challenges also suggests that handling any future obstacle will be more feasible.
A Chance to Reconnect
In this fast race-driven world, it is difficult for one to find time to spend together with family and friends. Take some time away from the influences of the outside world to re-connect and restore the vital connections of any relationship, to include finding time to reconnect to one’s own self.
Preparing for The Future
Not only does celebrating success feel good in the moment, but it also sets you up for future success. Taking the time to recognize your achievements allows you the chance to pinpoint exactly what worked so that you can repeat it in the future.
Live for the moments of succuss
Simply take the time to enjoy your efforts, energy, and accomplishments along the journey of life. Be sure to include gratitude for others who have helped you along the way. The momentum you gain from each small success allows you to stay on course toward greater and greater achievements and successes, including achieving your big, long-term goals. Recognition of yourself and taking a moment to recognize and register how it feels to have done well is all you really need. The next time you accomplish something you are proud of, allow yourself to celebrate the moment before you move on to the next goal.
Remember, life’s journey is not just about reaching destinations; it’s about cherishing and celebrating all the moments and milestones along the way.

REAL ESTATE FOR YOU
LORI BLANK
BROKER/OWNER
LORI BLANK & ASSOCIATES, LLCTechnology is no longer limited to just our smartphones and laptops; it’s rapidly infiltrating every aspect of our lives, including the place we call home. The real estate industry is experiencing a significant transformation with the emergence of Smart Homes and the Internet of Things (IoT). These innovations are not just about convenience; they are revolutionizing the way we live, making our homes safer, more efficient, and ultimately more enjoyable.
Welcome to the Future: Smart Homes
Gone are the days when homes were just four walls and a roof. Now, they are becoming smarter, thanks to advancements in technology. Imagine being able to control your lights, thermostat, security cameras, and even your coffee maker from your smartphone. Smart homes offer precisely that level of convenience and control.
One of the most significant advantages of smart home technology is its ability to enhance security. With smart security systems, homeowners can monitor their property in real time, receive alerts about suspicious activity, and even remotely control door locks and cameras. This not only provides peace of mind but also serves as a powerful deterrent to potential intruders.
Efficiency Redefined: The Internet of Things (IoT)
The Internet of Things (IoT) takes smart homes to the next level by connecting various devices and systems to the Internet, allowing them to communicate and share data. This interconnectedness leads to increased efficiency and automation in the home.
For instance, IoT-enabled thermostats can learn your temperature preferences and adjust the settings, accordingly, saving energy and reducing utility bills. Smart appliances, such as refrigerators and washing machines, can optimize their usage based on your habits and preferences, making household chores less burdensome.
Transforming the Real Estate Landscape
The integration of smart home technology and IoT is reshaping the real estate market in profound ways. Homebuyers are

ENHANCING HOME LIVING:
THE INTERSECTION OF TECHNOLOGY AND REAL ESTATE
increasingly prioritizing smart features when searching for properties, viewing them as valuable investments that offer both convenience and long-term savings.
For sellers, incorporating smart home technology can significantly increase the value of their properties and attract more potential buyers. Additionally, real estate agents are leveraging technology to provide immersive virtual tours and interactive experiences, allowing clients to explore homes from the comfort of their own devices.
Challenges and Considerations
While the benefits of smart homes and IoT are undeniable, there are also challenges and considerations to be aware of. Privacy and security concerns regarding the collection and storage of personal data remain valid issues that need to be addressed. Additionally, there is the potential for compatibility issues between different devices and platforms, which could hinder the seamless integration of smart home systems.
Furthermore, the upfront cost of implementing smart home technology may be prohibitive for some homeowners. However, as the technology becomes more widespread and affordable, we can expect to see greater adoption and integration across all segments of the real estate market.
Embracing the Future
As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, the intersection of technology and real estate will only become more pronounced. Smart homes and IoT are not just trends; they are the future of home living. By embracing these innovations, homeowners can create safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable living spaces for themselves and their families.
Whether you’re buying, selling, or simply looking to upgrade your current home, consider the possibilities that smart home technology has to offer. From enhanced security and energy efficiency to unparalleled convenience and comfort, the benefits are undeniable. Welcome to the future of real estate – where technology meets home.

FINANCIAL FOCUS®
MATTRUPPERT
Here’s a sobering statistic: 72% of retirees say one of their biggest fears is becoming a burden on their families, according to a study by Edward Jones and the consulting firm Age Wave. If you are near retirement, how can you prepare yourself to become financially free, so you won’t have to depend on grown children or other family members?
Here are a few suggestions to consider:
• Keep adding to retirement savings. Today, with a greater awareness of healthy lifestyles, many people are spending two, or even three, decades in an active retirement. To help pay for those years, then, you’ll likely need to build your retirement savings as much as possible. So, while you’re still working, try to contribute as much as you can afford to your 401(k) or other employer-sponsored retirement plan. If you are in the later stages of your career, possibly close to your peak earning power, you may be able to put in sizable sums every year.
SLOW AND STEADY: A SMART WAY TO INVEST
• Choose an appropriate withdrawal rate. While it’s obviously important to build your retirement savings, it’s just as essential to make the money last. Once you retire, you’ll want to establish an appropriate withdrawal rate — that is, the amount you can take out each year from your 401(k) and other investments without running the risk of outliving your money. The amount you can safely withdraw each year will depend on a variety of factors, including your age, your account balances, Social Security benefits, inflation, income tax rates and spousal income. In any case, selecting a suitable withdrawal rate can help go a long way toward preserving your financial freedom throughout your retirement.
• Think about downsizing. One possible way to boost your savings and add liquidity is to downsize your living arrangements. This may be an attractive option if your children are grown and your current home feels too large. Of course, downsizing is a highly personal decision — if you’ve lived in your home for many years, have fond memories of raising a family in it and still enjoy the neighborhood, it can certainly be hard to leave. Consequently, you’ll need to weigh these emotional factors against the potential financial benefits of moving into a smaller, less expensive space.

Prepare for long-term care costs. If you were ever to need some type of long-term care, such as an extended stay in a nursing home, you could face some sizable expenses, most of which may not be covered by Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan. And clearly, you would not want to put your grown children in a position where they might feel the need to step in financially. To help avoid this possibility, you may want to consult with a financial professional about addressing these costs through strategies that may be appropriate for your needs.
These aren’t the only ideas to consider in helping maintain your financial independence and reducing your potential dependence on your family during your retirement years. But taken together, they can give you a good start — so think about putting them to work.
