10 AÑOS DE TRAYECTORIA DE SURF ART MAGAZINE Esta es la primera edición de nuestro décimo Aniversario. Este año estará lleno de mágicas historias y sorpresas. En esta edición nos enfocamos en San Clemente, California. Visitamos la playa de Trestles, tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir y entrevistar al surfista y fotógrafo de surf, Jean Paul Van Swae “JP”. También estuvimos con el renombrado “Shaper”, Timmy Patterson y con Scott Metzner; el artista que deja arte plasmado sobre las tablas de Patterson.

Nos encontramos a la surfista guatemalteca Ale Zaid, en un “secret spot” dándose este tubazo. Ale regresó a vivir a Guatemala hace un poco más de un año. Previo a su retorno, vivió siete años en Indonesia.

Este período enriqueció su vida de muchas maneras y también le ayudó a mejorar su nivel de surf. Durante ese tiempo, Ale trabajó en hotelería, bienes raíces y abrió su propio restaurante. Ale vive hoy en día en Guatemala y se encuentra emprendiendo un proyecto
llamado Samudra, en el cual capacita y da trabajo como masajistas a personas con distintas discapacidades visuales. Entre sus metas para el 2021 están: conseguir inversionistas para expandir el proyecto de Samudra, empezar a competir en longboard y viajar a Indonesia.
