As far back as I can remember I was mesmerized by the power and beauty of the ocean, the danger of the sea has always been exciting, the feeling of being thrown around by the waves like a rag doll has always made me feel alive and the ever present fear of being ripped apart by a tiger shark has kept me awake and present in every moment. I've always liked being reminded that I am not in control, especially when I am

Photography in the ocean has taught me how to adapt to the chaos of life in order to capture a single beautiful moment of an ever changing landscape. I was lucky to spend my formative years working for Volcom where I was surrounded by creatives and tried to learn whatever I could from the photographers, musicians and artists around me. Working for Volcom eventually led me to Hawaii where I found my home and still spend the majority of my time trying to capture that same beauty that captivated me from the beginning.
