With the main objective of being an exhibition space for the diversity of audiovisual works with an emphasis on Dance-film annually produced genre, Sur Oeste Arte EscĂŠnico AC publishes the following open call to participate in the MUMVI 2018, aimed at performing arts professionals, video art, audiovisual production and other profiles interested in audiovisual language with interest in Dance-film genre as a creative and expressive medium; under the following.
BASIS 1. The application may be carried out in two categories: 1) National Production and 2) International Production. 2. Each category will be subdivided into a) Probed trajectory with more than 3 years of experience. b) Trajectory with less than 3 years of experience. 2. The maximum length of works must be 10 minutes. 3. Documentary, video clip or historiography works will not be admitted. 4. The topic of the work is free.
5. Only one application per person or group/ company will be accepted. 6. The year of production cannot be before 2016. 7. The application fee is free. 8. The MUMVI does not award prizes beyond the annual selection that is part of the selection. 9. Selected works must have the documentation that verifies the Author's Rights of the work, as well as the authorization of the performers, artists and the creative team involved in the work
APPLICATION 1. Fill the available format www.suroestearteescenico.com/mumvi 2. Attach the link of the complete and finished work that is applying for the MUMVI. If the link has a password, please include it. 3. Attach full Credits of the applicant work: Title, director, length, year of production, brief synopsis, cast; as well as a brief curriculum of the group or director.
REGISTRATION AND SELECTION The present open call will be open from the date of its publication and until March 10th, 2018. Only complete applications will be participate. The official selection will be published on March 17th, 2018. Subsequently, an email will be sent to the selected ones detailing the logistical issues. The selected works must be submitted in HD quality along with 2 photos in JPEG / 300pp format within a maximum period of 20 calendar days from the publication of results. The works will be selected by an Internal Committee and the resolution of the commission will be unappealable. The selected works will become part of the Show Collection.
