o you open your wardrobe doors in the morning and feel overwhelmed, but still can’t find anything to wear? It might be time to think about building yourself a capsule wardrobe.

CLASSIC CAPSULE Often a clear out is the start of the process. But even before this, you need to assess what you want from your wardrobe. Be realistic about your lifestyle. Do you work from home or are you in a smart office or clientfacing role? If you are a personal trainer a wardrobe full of tailored trousers and shirts will not serve you well. Equally, if you are out

and about networking at schmoozy do’s then you will need more evening dresses than, say, a garden designer. It might help to pinpoint who your fashion icons are or what style of clothes inspire you. Once you have landed on your style direction and requirements, then it’s time to clear out the clutter. If you haven’t worn it for a year,
