Goodwood Book Swap

In keeping with the #ReviveAndThrive ethos across the Goodwood Estate, Goodwood Motor Circuit has repurposed two of its iconic red phone boxes into a Book Swap. If you're after something new and exciting to read, bring a book with you on your next visit and swap it for a new one. There is a varied range of categories from automotive to children’s books. The Goodwood Book Swap is based opposite the Richmond Lawn as you drive through the Motor Circuit tunnel. New Chichester - Littlehampton bus route Residents and visitors will soon benefit from a new bus route. The new 500 service will be run by Stagecoach South and will commence in July initially for 2 years. The route will run between Chichester, Shopwhyke, Tangmere, Fontwell, Barnham, Yapton and Littlehampton. Buses will run every 30 minutes Mon to Sat and hourly on Sundays and into the evening. All vehicles will be low emission with low floor access.

Raise the roof - Earnley Church

The chancel roof of what is believed to be one of West Sussex’s smallest churches is in severe danger of falling down. The battens are rotten and the tiles slipping. “The inhabitants of the tiny village of Earnley are determined to Raise the Roof by raising the £70,000 for repairs,” says Church Warden Chris Knight. “Our little church is at the heart of the village, countless generations have been married there, baptisms given untold joy to families, and the lives of those who have passed on celebrated. Tickets on sale for Festival of Chichester ‘23
