Mon 1st 4:00pm Angmering Park L: Sandy 2 - 2.5hrs 5 miles Fairly level terrain starting out from Butler’s Copse through a patchwork of indigenous, well-managed woodland and some open downland with great views from Patching Hill. No dogs Meet: car park in Butler’s Copse Tue 2nd 10.30am Storrington L: Peter 2.5 hours 4 miles A hilly walk down into Storrington and return with super Downland views Meet: Car park at Springhead / Kithurst Hill Fri 5th 10.30am Amberley L: Andrew 1.5 hours 3miles Along river Arun bank to Amberley village Meet: Amberley Station Car Park Fri 5th 10.30am Washington and Sullington L: Jane 2.5 hrs 5 miles A downland walk taking in the village of Sullington & parts of the South Downs Way. Hilly with stiles Meet: Frankland Arms pub RH20 4AL Sun 7th 10.30am Binsted Woods L: Dominic 2-2.5 hrs 4 miles A mainly flat headland path, grass, gravel via Madonna Pond - Gentle Pace Meet: Walberton Village Hall car park, The Street, Walberton, Arundel, BN18 0PQ Wed 10th 10.30am River Arun to The Stokes L: Alison 2 1/2 hrs 4.8 miles A lovely walk along lanes and through woods via the villages of North and South Stoke Meet: Amberley Station Car Park, BN18 9LR Thurs 11th 10.00am Wisborough Green L: Louise 2.5-3 hours 6.5 miles A walk along Kirdford Road, then off the road, up and down hill, round Hollands Heath and then back to the green. No stiles, some stretched muddy puddles – mostly can walk around Meet: Park at the green in the laybys, RH14 0DB Mon 15th 10.30am Chichester Tree Trail L : Ian 75 mins 1.5 miles A walk around central Chichester, to introduce us to the variety of local and exotic trees in our city Meet: Chichester Market Cross, East St (between HSBC/GoldArts) Tue 16th 10.30am Angmering Park L: Peter 2 hrs 4 miles A mainly flat walk through woods and meadows Meet: Car park in the woods at the Dover BN18 9PX Wed 17th 10.30am Slindon Woods to Folly L: Dominic 2 hrs 3.5 miles Lovely views. Some muddy areas and short inclines. Last ¼ mile steep uphill Meet: National Trust Car Park, Dukes Road, Slindon Thurs 18th 4.00pm Fittleworth L : Gerald 1.5 hours 3 miles Two short stretches on tarmac and then a lovely walk through countryside. No stiles and wonderful views across the River Rother. Two inclines. Excellent café available Meet: Fittleworth Village Hall RH20 1JB Wed 24th 10.30am Mill Road to Black Rabbit L: Dominic 1 hour 2.4 miles A flat riverside walk, 1 stile. Mill Roadcar park to Offham, return via Black Rabbit Meet: Mill Road car park by the river in town centre (charge) BN18 9AA Wed 31st 10.30am Singleton to West Dean L: Peter 3-3.5 7 miles A longer strenuous walk. Some uneven paths and three stiles Meet: Outside Singleton C of E Primary School, PO18 0HP
