Whole school trip to Champs Hill
We were lucky to be invited to visit Champs Hill, a local garden which promotes music and art and is, fortunately, within walking distance of our school. The whole school visited, exploring the garden, admiring the many sculptures and paintings in the art gallery as well as sketching flowers and plants in the stunning grounds.
Residential to Blackland Farm
Our year 5s and 6s enjoyed an action-packed three day trip to Blackland Farm in East Grinstead recently. The feedback from the children was top notch:
‘My favourite activity was abseiling. The beds were fantastic and my favourite food was the wraps.’ Harrison
‘I really enjoyed coming to stay at Blackland Farm. In my opinion, the best activity was the leap of faith but all of the activities were so fun and challenging as well!’ Charlie
‘The campfire was my favourite because of all the songs.’ April
‘My best activity was climbing because it was exciting when you got to the top. I am so happy that I went. I was a bit worried about tunnelling at first, but I did it!!’ Elliott
