2023 off to a great start!
New year, new term

Our children have enjoyed starting their new topics this term and have had a great week fully immersing themselves in their learning.
Year 5 children created silhouetted, multimedia Mosques, smelling and guessing spices and experiencing the sounds, smells and sights of a Baghdad market. They even had a go at bartering!
Year 2 children became expert ice scientists as they investigated ice and how it changes with different temperatures. They were fascinated and demonstrated great observational skills as they decided how to record the changes in ice.
Children’s groups and curriculum activities
This term sees more experiences planned as we ensure the children receive a broad curriculum. Our choir will attend the O2 in London to perform with thousands of choirs across the country. The many children's groups we run such as the equality group, school council and science ambassador group continue to ensure the school is at its best and different year groups will experience learning outside of school during weeks such as "Beyond the school gates," where children explore their surroundings and ways to enjoy it responsibly. www.storringtonprimary.co.uk
