OUR LESSONS • Leaving no-one behind and reaching the most vulnerable people first during reconstruction is crucial. • When the provinces and local government play their roles as seen in the constitution along with strengthened systems and capacity, Nepal can respond better to any crisis. • Effective implementation of National Building Code (NBC) is important for Nepal's resilience against earthquake. Political willingness is equally necessary for effective implementation and enforcement.
