First, I started by making lists of myself. I considered location, alphabet, time, categories, and heirarchy.

With these visual and verbal lists of myself in mind, I started to generate sketches of self portrait, considering which aspect of me would represent myself the best.

And digitally visualized my sketches. However, I found myself having hard time deciding on these visuals, because I didn’t have exact script of my self-portrait. I realized now it is time to actually write down what I want to say about myself.

I am person who don’t usually reveals oneself. But, I wanted to reveal the deepest part of myself this time. So, I decided to show my perception changes throughout my life. It is because I believe one’s mind and thought represents the deepest self rather than what one has or one’s outer appearance.

And, in doing so, I highlighted some words of stories that summarize that part of the story. In this, I had visual representation of my self portrait in mind.

Before going into digital visualization of my self portrait, I wanted to make sure how my self portrait should feel and look-like, considering my own voice.

Based on feed back I got from others, I started to revise my self-portrait both on visual and text wise, because I wanted people to get what I wanted to convey.
