Tourist map guide of the Nova Varos municipality, located in the Zlatibor District of the western Serbia. The ExperienceClub, a Serbian based tourism consulting company, implemented a tourism strategy in Nova Varoš in cooperation with the Mercy Corps. The program was based on a competition between stakeholder groups for tourism investments in and around the municipality. The contest format required that applicants form consortia to offer the most unique three-day package of activities that the region has to offer: walks through Mt. Zlatar’s nature, boat rides on Uvac River’s Lakes, rafting down Lim River, sightseeing eagles and griffon vultures and bicycle tours. In total twelve projects competed. The winners, which included the park rangers overseeing the Nova Varoš resources, were awarded $20,000 worth of equipment and gear necessary for organizing the Three Unique Days.
