The new focusing wheel with its unique combination of hard and soft components is stable and easy to grip. The focusing mechanism is particularly smooth and completely tolerance free, making operation of the new EL both comfortable and precise. For a perfect observation experience. Only two complete turns of the focusing wheel (EL 42 SWAROVISION) take you from infinity to the shortest focusing distance ever of 4.9 ft (1.5 m). The new focusing mechanism enables a correction for defective vision of at least 6 dpt (5 dpt with EL 50 SWAROVISION). It also offers a built-in dioptric compensation of +/- 5 dpt (+/- 4 dpt with EL 50 SWAROVISION) to compensate for different visual acuity in each eye. This results in maximum scope for adjustment to individual visual acuity when used without eyeglasses.

Field Flattener lenses provide unprecedented peripheral definition, fluoride-containing HD lenses minimize color fringing, while optimized coatings ensure maximum color fidelity. Large eye relief - allows eyeglass wearers a full field of view. HD OPTICS Our HD optics feature fluoride-containing lenses, which virtually eliminate color aberrations. The scatter is considerably less with fluoride than with even the best types of optical glass. This enables maximum color fidelity and leads to a significant improvement in resolution and contrast. SWAROBRIGHT Coating for color fidelity and maximum light transmission across the whole light spectrum: SWAROVSKI OPTIK was the first manufacturer in the world to use this technology in series production. SWAROTOP AND SWARODUR Coatings for bright, high-contrast images: Reduces surface light reflection from 4-6% to 0.2%. Used on all the lenses and prisms found in SWAROVSKI OPTIK products. SWAROCLEAN This non-stick coating makes it easier to clean away dirt such as water marks, insect repellents, or tree resin.
SWAROFAST Thanks to the innovative SWAROFAST function, you only need to adjust the position of your camera once in relation to your spotting scope. After this you can remove the camera from the adapter and bring it back into exactly the same position later without any need for readjustment. P-COATING Phase-corrected coating used in all types of roof-prism glass for high contrast images. EL WRAP-AROUND GRIP Wrap-around grip used on all EL binoculars, permitting optimum, rapid handling with just one hand.
