TABLE OF

CONTENTS JANUARY 2017 |1

1. Classes - Try to choose either all morning or afternoon classes so you can leave time to work, study, workout, hang out with friends or sleep. 3. Be involved in all school events because you're able to enjoy and really experience the college life, you're able to meet new people, take a break from school work, and make new memories. 5. Dont leave things for the last minute! Its easy to keep pushing things back but it will come back to haunt you, causing long restless nights of trying to catch up with all the assignments.

2. Friends- Choose people that have motivation and goals, people who love God and are eager to help others. Be someone that people can rely on, be honest, caring, passionate for life, and above all be a disciple of Jesus. 4. Make time to spend with God, many of us get distracted or busy with trying to survive college that we often forget about the only one who can save us. Before you start your day leave some time to study your Sabbath school lesson, worship, prayer and you will feel God's guidance throughout your day. 6. Health- Don't forget that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit! Sleep early and eat a balanced diet because freshman 15 is a real thing.

7. If you're working don't forget your tithe, put some money to the side for school, make sure you have enough for the bills, put five dollars to the side for a little treat at the end of the month and the rest of the money save it for an emergency or put it in savings. 8. Sleep- Try to sleep at least 7 hours each night, don't stay up late because you will regret it the following day and you will feel the consequences in a few more years. 9. Relationships- Don't let a relationship take the majority of your time, you have to be wise with your time management skills. Pick a day out of the week and a time frame in which you can spend time with your significant other or with your 2 | STATUS MAGAZINE friends.
