8 STRESS

LONELINESS

SELF-DOUBT

So do not fear, for I am with you: do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)

Psalm 94:19 (NLT)

TIME WITH GOD

PROCRASTINATION

CONNECTING TO GOD

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always.

Psalm 143:8 (NLT)

Hosea 12:6 (NIV)

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

Psalm 143:8 (NIV)

SELF-HATE

OVERWHELMED

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety,

Psalm 61:2 (NLT)

In life we have a lot of questions and we wonder what the answers are. Yet, faith gives us a reassurance that the answers are coming. It's like a letter from a friend. You Don't know what it says, but once you receive the letter, everything makes sense. -Brenda Perez

Sometimes I think that having faith will make all the problems go away instantly, but in reality faith is there to get us through the difficulties we face in life. -Donte Brooks This verse has never meant more to me now that I am a junior nursing student. Through all the stress, tests, and personal struggles, GOD hasn't make my load easier, but He's made it possible. -Christina Evans

"It was already 11:48pm, to some of you it might not be too late but it is way past my bedtime. I had a Hebrew Midterm the next morning, it seems like the end of Hebrew for me but I realize God's got it. It's definitely not easy but it sure is possible to get this language down. -Nu Pham. My life is really hard & I am very stressed but am reminded through faith to keep going. -Caleb Durant

To me this verse is a reminder that although we live in a sinful world full of trials we don't have to go through it alone. Faith is key. God is always on our side and we must trust and have faith in His wisdom, His power, and His love for us. -Aribelle Metzger
