SERVICE SPOTLIGHT Northern Arizona University's project(s) for the months of November and December extended across the two. From packing meals at the Flagstaff Family Food Center, to making bags of cookies for Hope Cottages during a holiday banquet, Northern Arizona University worked to aid in fighting hunger at the holidays - promoting our distric initiative. Â

15 IT'S A BIRD. IT'S A PLANE. IT'S A CHARTER.
Although it may seem like a weird title at the beginning, there is absolutely nothing more exciting than that last portion: a charter. It's absolutely undeniable that the Southwest District is a special one - with Ottawa University CKI in Surprise, AZ having been chartered at the beginning of the year, to now Eastern New Mexico University: Roswell at our fingertips. It may seem like something that should be so simple, the chartering of a new club. You have people who are committed and willing to do the job, how hard could it be? This is an incorrect assumption, as blood (figuratively), sweat (maybe figuratively), and tears (maybe not figuratively), go into each new club that we see appear throughout our time in CKI. So next time we see a new club getting onto its feet, respect the struggle to start the club, and respect that there are people who wish to do good in the world. After all, that's what CKI is about. We're so excited for Eastern New Mexico University: Roswell CKI to join the Southwest District family, and work to make the world an even better place.
