BULLETIN EDITOR
Hey Southwest! So, our CKI year is slowly coming to a close, this being the last publication I’ll be posting as District Bulletin Editor! I hope you all had an amazing break, and are getting ready for convention season! With ours next week, Key Club’s in April, and Kiwanis’ in August, not to mention our own International Convention in Toronto, I forsee a whole lot of traveling these next few months. I hope you all will take the oppertunity to attend one (or all) of these events and support our K-Family with enthusiasm and kindness! Our year doesn’t end with DCON, though! We have more amazing service projects and events these next few months, so hopefully you’ll find some more lives to save. I really enjoyed this year and creating these bulletins for you all, and I can’t wait to see what we do. I look forward to seeing you all very soon! Stay Spicy,
Banna Tesfay

UA Spreads Kindness On January 30, University of Arizona CKI volunteered at a Ben’s Bells Studio in Tucson, AZ. Ben’s Bells works to promote a kindness throughout one’s community. U of A Circle K helped paint what will later become “Kindness Coins” to be spread around the community. Great job UA!
Leading with Laughter Just a reminder that we are still hoping to see clubs throughout the district participate in this service initiative. Noting that, if your club needs anything to host a project or participate, please let us know as we would love to help out! If your club has already hosted an event, please send us the details as we would love to feature you in Service Scoop.

Ava’s Eliminate Challenge
$400 $300 $200 $100
Help Eliminate Tetanus As many of you know, Ava challenged us to raise $500 for Eliminate by D-Con to chop off her hair! Luckily for us, we have already met that goal, meaning that in a couple of weeks, Ava’s luscious locks will exist no more! However, Eliminate still needs help. It only takes $1.80 to save a life so any bit of support is greatly appreciated! In the coming weeks, see about organizing a quick fundraiser to help us raise even MORE money for a truly worthy cause.
National Pancake Day On March 8, 2016, IHOP National Pancake Day will help raise funds

for Children’s Miracle Network. CKI Clubs can support this endeavor by signing up to volunteer on this day. It is going to be a great event and we would like to invite everybody in the district to sign up for this amazing opportunity for service!!!
