TOMORROW FUND WHAT IS IT? WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU?
We've heard of the Kiwanis Children's Fund, but did you know that there is a specific portion of that fund allotted for Circle K International clubs? If you didn't, we can learn together through this brief mini magazine - all about the Kiwanis Tomorrow Fund.
The Tomorrow Fund helps Circle K International clubs tackle those big ideas through service. CKI clubs can apply for grants to help fund those big ideas, and make their vision a reality. These grants can be awarded to clubs and/or districts.
The awards range from $200 to $2000. Preference is given to those projects that are already being funded, or have another organization aiding the project in its completion as it pertains to funding. This helps in ensuring the ultimate completion of the project!
TOMORROW FUND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
The ultimate question of anything is: why should you care? How does this impact you? To be frank, there are so many ways the tomorrow fund can aid you and your club!Â
Take on causes near and dear to your heart, that you currently feel are beyond your reach. With the Tomorrow Fund, we don't have to let the financials stop us. Take advantage of this opportunity!Â
Apply for a Tomorrow Fund Grant, and make the service project of your dreams a reality. Below is a club-level example of things that a Tomorrow Fund Grant may support:
Based on a need to develop better reading skills among at-risk kindergarten students, a CKI club might make chair covers with pockets in them for books. Each kindergarten student has a book read to them by the CKI member, and the books and chair covers are donated to the classroom.
TOMORROW FUND WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, AND WHY?
Applications for the Tomorrow Fund are due to Circle K International by December 1st. That's a few weeks from now, so you and your club have plenty of time to come up with an amazing idea to change some lives, or make some a little better. The following information is needed to submit the Tomorrow Fund application for your club: Your member ID#- not sure? Contact member services at Kiwanis International for assistance. Your club’s key number- not sure? Contact member services at Kiwanis International for assistance. Telephone number and email address of your Kiwanis/Faculty Advisor or District Administrator who is directly involved in the project. A brief description of the project The issue your project addresses When and where the project will take place and a detailed project timeline How your project will measurably improve the community and continue its impact in the long run? Provide a detailed timeline of your project. What parts of your project require funding What elements of your project are being donated and by whom

You will need to include the budget for your project with the Tomorrow Fund Application. These applications will not be valid unless a budget is provided.
All applications for the Tomorrow Fund must be completed through the application linked on this page. No paper or email applications will be accepted.
