We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Teresa

JUST LIKE MOST PEOPLE, I SEARCHED FOR AN IDENTITY IN THE THINGS OF THE WORLD SEARCHING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES, THINGS OF THAT NATURE... AND NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED NOTHING SEEMED TO SATISFY THE LONGING OF NEEDING TO BELONG... U KNOW WHAT I MEAN? THAT IS NOT UNTIL I FOUND JESUS. PLEASE ALLOW ME TO CORRECT THAT. THAT IS …..NOT UNTIL JESUS...... FOUND ME. FOR IN HIM …. I FOUND MY TRUE IDENTITY, AMEN! FOR UP UNTIL THEN I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS LOST. LOST AND TURNED OUT... THANK YOU JESUS, FOR SAVING ME!

“My Pledge of Allegiance to Me” Written by Letitia L. Hodge RECITED BY: DEVINEDELITE
SHARED AT POETRY NIGHT NOVEMBER 20, 2013.
There’s more to me than the human eye can see. I’m a woman of purpose and destiny. A perfect design, I’m special and unique. I won’t be identified by the parts that up my physique. My beauty is not defined by my skin or my hair and my soul has more value the clothes that I wear. I’m not a symbol of pleasure or sex appeal; I have the natural ability to comfort and the power to heal. When God made me, He created a gem because He fashioned me in the likeness of Him. I refuse to do anything that will put God to shame. I deserve to be treated with and called by my name. I can’t be purchased or sold at any price because I’ve already been bought and for by the precious blood of Christ!
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)

SALUTING OUR VETS ~ HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FROM VICCM! ~ THE NOBLE AND THE BRAVE: ....... A VETERAN'S DAY TRIBUTE WHEN AMERICA HAD AN URGENT NEED, THESE BRAVE ONES RAISED A HAND; NO HESITATION HELD THEM BACK; THEY WERE PROUD TO TAKE A STAND. THEY LEFT THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY; THEY GAVE UP NORMAL LIFE; TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY AND THEIR GOD, THEY PLOWED INTO THE STRIFE. THEY FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM AND FOR PEACE ON STRANGE AND FOREIGN SHORES; SOME LOST NEW FRIENDS; SOME LOST THEIR LIVES IN LONG AND BRUTAL WARS. OTHER VETERANS ANSWERED A CALL TO SUPPORT THE ONES WHO FOUGHT; THEIR COUNTRY HAD REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS THEY BROUGHT. WE SALUTE EVERY ONE OF THEM, THE NOBLE AND THE BRAVE, THE ONES STILL WITH US HERE TODAY, AND THOSE WHO REST IN A GRAVE. SO HERE’S TO OUR COUNTRY’S HEROES; THEY’RE A CUT ABOVE THE REST; LET’S GIVE THE HONOR THAT IS DUE TO OUR COUNTRY’S VERY BEST.
+ VICTORY IN CHRIST CHURCH MINISTRIES, SALUTES YOU! +
FOX NEWS: Richard Overton, who at 107-years-old is America's oldest living veteran on record, was honored last week at a Veterans Day ceremony in Austin, Texas. In addition to a standing ovation, Overton received a box of cigars -- a vice that he cites as a key ingredient in his recipe for longevity. Overton takes no medicine, except for aspirin. Instead, he smokes cigars -- up to 12 a day, he told Fox News this spring -and drinks whiskey with his morning coffee. The secret to living long, he told the Houston Chronicle, is "staying out of trouble." “I also stay busy around the yards, I trim trees, help with the horses," he told Fox. "The driveways get dirty, so I clean them. I do something to keep myself moving. I don’t watch television." Overton served in the Army during World War II in Hawaii, Guam, Palau and Iwo Jima. He now lives in Austin. On Sunday, Overton was set to be honored in Washington, D.C. by President Barack Obama as part of the White House's Veterans Day festivities. According to KEYE TV, Overton was scheduled to have breakfast with the president and Vice President Joe Biden, and then attend a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Ceremony. "The president wants me to come with him," Overton said. "I'm surprised he called me." After the Bastrop County, Texas, native left the army, he first worked a stint as a furniture salesman then switched gears to become an employee for the state in the Treasurer’s Office. Does Overton have a vault-kept secret to living to such an enviable age while maintaining picture-perfect health? Overton once confided to a reporter that interviewed him last March that he does indulge in a couple of vices: he loves enhancing his morning coffee with a few trickles of whiskey! Overton also enjoys puffing on a cigar each day. But the absolute credo that he lives by — which he feels has gotten him this far in life — is to “stay out of trouble.” Overton enjoys a drama-free life and with no drama comes, no stress! Overton, News One salutes you! Thank you!

HEY HEY HEY and how goes the day? Every morning I wake to my California day by putting my feet on the floor, flicking the on button on my lap top, walking to the kitchen preparing my morning java and dashing to make that first “executive decision” of the day (use the restroom). After washing my hands and other morning duties most times im just in time to hear the “beep, beep, beep” of the freshley brewed coffee wofting its aroma just within nose reach. I grab my favorite mug (which happens to be from Starbucks) in my right hand while my left hand pours anticipation as I enjoy the warmth of the steam as it rises up and dissapears in my face. DOSH

I have a book titled “MEDITATIONS for LIVING in BALANCE, by: Anne Wilson Schaef. I have had this book for a bit over ten years, its something I picked up to read on an airplane trip to India (Mumbai/Bombay) on my touring days with MC Hammer. The flight was about and eighteen hour flight counting all the layovers and changing of plains so needless to say I had plenty of time to read ( I also picked up a few other books). MEDITATIONS for LIVING in BALANCE are quotes, affirmations and inspiring tidbits for living in balance with life and the health of a universal connection. It is not a spiritual reading or an allegoric parable, it’s just inspiration. I now have this book sitting on my desk in my room and I occasionally pick it up, skim through, and pick a quote to strive for on a particular day. I happen to open the book on a sunny Monday morning in Nov and “THE EARTH— MARTERIALISM” was the title. Strangely enough one day prior to this I sold a big screen television with the respects of detaching myself from some of the unnecessary material I have in my life (I do not even watch television enough to own a super flat screen). This chapter was the perfect reading I needed to continue on my conquest with strength and assurance and with the understanding “I open to this page randomly yet it was exactly what I needed”. So THIS morning I go out in to the universe with the learning “LISTEN TO YOUR UNIVERSE”. We each have a space around us that we have created, well listen to that space; listen to the things that you have let in. IN closing in M Y O P I N I O N it is the era to LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN, and then REACT. MORNING FOLKS!

theMORNINGcup IN THIS scenario think of YOURSELF as the earth Exert from book: (JULY 21) When we are thinking about balance, we usually know, at some level, that we need to consider the earth and all of nature. Yet, the challenge of bringing a contaminated and depleted earth back into balance often seems so overwhelming that we help-lessly throw up our hand and keep doing what we have always done. Perhaps we can approach this issue from a perspective that makes it easier to handle. We need to separate our goods and our materialism from the earth and its well-being. We need to become more aware of the difference between what we need and what we want, asking ourselves that question each time we start the buy goods. We can still buy thing we don’t need that we want and our awareness will have changed. We can look at the earth as separate from things and our materialistic urges. We can begin to see the earth as a living, moving process that makes the use of goods and even our life and the lives of those who follow us, possible. We can begin to see the earth as separate from and important to ourselves while at the same time intimately connected in oneness with us. When we are no longer willing to do harm to ourselves, we will no longer be willing to do harm to the earth.

What are they saying? Who are they talking to? What kinds of information is out there about them? What kinds of information are they telling Cyber Space about themselves? Parents should know the answers to these questions. http://momfabulous.com/2013/06/the-boys-andgirls-club-of-america-want-your-kids-to-becybersafe/
A new study by Ronseal looked into the behavioral habits of children and how they spend their time. The study is part of the Go On, Get Outdoors campaign headed up by celebrity gardening expert Kim Wilde. The results proved to be a little shocking and should see parents evaluating their own child’s behavior habits. If you need some help getting the kids outside, click on our own blog article offering six suggestions for outdoor activities for kids. http://www.sudocrem.co.uk/antiseptic-healingcream/blog/children-spend-56-days-a-year-playing-videogamesand-watching-tv/
INSIDE’S outside It sounds weird to say it.....but in all honesty, today’s youth , can’t go outside and just play. It really is foreign to them. ~Jazzzmeana “SWERVEmagazine group
Social networks are very good places for business, but so was the Wild Wild West. What or where is this famous star-studded place called Facebook? On the corner of ignorance and disrespect lies, a small-degraded shaded park infested with broken glass, discarded syringes, crack pipes, crack smokers, cyber dealers, punks, punkers, and everything else you need to create vigilantly circumstances. In this park lurk the FBI, CIA, FDA, FCC and every other 3-letter acronym that could cross your matrixed imagination. There are no security guards on duty, yet you are constantly being governmentally stalked, monitored, watched, reported and disabled. It’s a place that disillusioned parents drop their kids off in hopes that some random added stranger might baby sit for them. In a land full of beautiful colors, plenty of games, great music, pseudo conversations, porn galore and virtual beef, sit your child hypnotically transfixed on secrets, other people’s business and uncensored vulgarity. The simplest thing in the world to do is. TURN IT OFF? Now that we have turned it off tune in and turn you on. The virtual world is no longer some innocent venture to set your child free to roam. If you do decide to let your child do so, do so with caution and understanding. Be involved in what they have going on their Facebook “Walls and other virtual forums. Just like in Real Life, outside of the new boob-tube you would never leave your child alone in a strange park with unfamiliar people. Yet we do it virtually virtual every second of the day. ~DOSH Please comment: group members @ SWERVEmagazine group IMVU Nonmembers: swervemagazine22@gmail.com

GROUP COMMENTS: Re: NOVissue main ARTICLE.
Jazzzmeana Re: NOVissue main ARTICLE. October 26, 2013 10:17AM I love both comments, great points. Now to address the TURN IT OFF ! ! Really ? Really ? Cant and Will never ever happen.....FB, Twitter, KIK etc....Are the new free baby sitters of our times. Remember when Our parents had parties, and we snuck and had a drink , hit sum weed, seen and played with guns ? Remember all the stuff we did as kids , our parent never knew , and don't even know to this day , we did ? There isn't that much difference, now is it, ? I feel the lurking and dangers are increased severely, with the social media to the point , I seriously wish there were none. I don't have kids , to see it first hand , and my nieces and family members are in that age range to be supervised, without all the lip to mom and dad , and talking back , saying " No , you can’t invade my privacy. My heart goes out , to the parents of the teenagers, who are really battling this issue. So I guess that inspiring notion , "try and be involved with their FB activity " Sounds good , (sigh) Truly will be a labor of love. ~Jazzzmeana
The other day I the power went down in my neighborhood for 30mins there was complete silence, not a child in sight. After a few more minutes I begin to hear laughter and kids in the pool...prior to the power outage you would have never even knew kids lived around me....YES very sad”. ~Dosh.
Re: NOVissue main ARTICLE. October 26, 2013 07:07AM I'll be completely honest, I'm not the hugest fan on the social media scene but I do see some good in its purpose. When you are dealing with people you have to deal with different personalities. And I see a lot of the purposes of people on Facebook is to be a soclal media superstar. You can blame the parents for not checking in and on their children's pages or you can blame the emotional and social irresponsibility of adults who use this social engine. But most of all, what needs to be addressed, is the blame of the socalled "liberal" American media. It provokes many people with these reality shows on how everyday folk can be a star by simply acting foolish. By “Acting foolish enough and Whorish enough will make you an instant star". We yearn for attention and we will do anything, and do mean ANYTHING to get it. Even as far a demoralizing ourselves in an attempt to have some feedback. I am in total agreement with DOSH when he says TURN IT OFF because this is a beast seeking to devour the souls of unfortunate and unsuspecting souls waiting to be exploited. *Disclaimer* For those that use Facebook as a tool to push your career in business, entertainment, and etc., this is not about you. This is for the groups of people that talks about what they had for breakfast this morning. ~xxxMrsTainaStacksxxx
October 26, 2013 02:08PM I agree Jazzmeana, but from first hand experience, I have had no choice but to 'TURN IT OFF' from kids in my home. I found some ridiculous adult web surfing going and fb PEDOPHILE LIKE" friends adds" by others to their accts that I ended up shutting down their accounts. (After of course kindly threatening the sickos with the idea of tracking them down, & ruining their future of ever reproducing. ) And filing police reports. Boy, talk about devastation. You remember when we were put on punishment from tv/friends/outside time for various wrongdoings -it really sucked but we made due. Mine act as if they can't go on in life without their ipods, laptops etc. They are like zombies following me around not knowing how to act without being plugged in somewhere. SAD..but honestly I have no one to blame but myself. I shut it ALL down. "Outside Ma? What will I do out there??" Real comment no lie. My kids had to be retaught what it meant to play, breathe fresh air for the heck of it and just be a flippin kid. It is a real struggle for techie fed kids nowadays. So now I. perform random spur searches on them. I just roll up and am like -lemme see what you looking at? They hate that but do I care? Nahh. I bought that $200 upgrade to the walkman called an IPOD. I'm also keenly aware that they are no fools and are tech savvy enough to clear out searches, close chats and delete msgs. It truly is a constant battle. So now punishment is 'ooh lets play a gameboard', 'put your shoes on we are going to the park' or 'come on ya'll lets do movie night' . no electronics invited. lol. My how times have changed since we came up But as a parent you have to make the effort or else your kids will in the end pay the price. ~KRUSH3D~ 12

Cyber Bullying: Beyond the Edges of the Computer Screen
Virtual bullying can be defined as someone making fun of another person repeatedly through text messages, emails, online forums, blog postings, etc. These messages are intended to hurt, harm, humiliate, or damage the person who the bully does not like. However, there is a difference between virtual bullying and virtual harassment. The term, ‘virtual bullying’ only refers to confrontation between two minors. As soon as one person is not a minor, it is no longer considered virtual bullying but virtual harassment. The bully can hide behind there computer and attack whom ever they please and almost never get caught. Some differences between physical bullying and virtual bullying include: face to face vs. impersonal, school vs. online, familiar bully vs. unknown bully. http://wiki.ucalgary.ca/page/Virtual_Bullying#History

CYBER BULLYorVIRTUAL PUNK?
The power of words has never changed. ~Krushed “SWERVEmagazine group.” Let em talk to air. ~Jazzzmeana “SWERVEmagazine group”
I would like to preference this story by saying “ I am so OUT”, I clap my hands together and throw them into the sky, shaking my head as my eyes roll in a state of question. Please raise your hand if you are from the old generation and your parents taught you “Sticks and stones might break my bones, but words will never hurt me?”
Here we are in the year 2013, what happened? Let us be honest, what has happened that people are so emotionally alone that suicide becomes an option behind verbal assaults? I am not hear to bash, nor am I here to disregard the fact that there are parents out there that will have a hard time understanding the position I’m taking. I am a black man from the South, and I mean the real south, dirt road, one streetlight and a railroad track dividing white people from black people. I went to a school that was brand new to integration and I had to sneak to ride my bike with my little white female friend , so you will have to beg my pardon if I am perplexed behind the numerous suicides that children (people in general) are committing because someone said something that hurt there fillings.
If the word “nigger” could kill I would be dead a million times, if the phrase “you skinny, you dark, you have a big forehead could murder” I would have been buried years ago. Words do not kill, nor do works commit physical suicide. Words alone have no meaning outside of those in which we give them. I get it, its hard being a kid in this day and age, but every generation says the same thing and at the same time tries to dismiss the age prior to theirs as nothing, but they get through it. “Sticks and stones might break my bones but words will NEVER kill me”. No matter how much verbal backlash I receive, no matter the negative comments, no matter the harshness of attackers, no matter how long the word is, I will live through it. I close by saying it seems, parents have left the park, the lights are out and the child has been was given NO instructions, he does not know his address or his phone number and everyone is surprised that he is lost. For those that have chosen to take my view uncaring, you would be unequivocally wrong, it is just the opposite. I mourn for lost kids and I cut my eyes at the parents that adopt the “trust” and leave your child to his or her own privacy policy. You have NO idea who your child is especially your “virtual child” and though it’s hard to keep track of the SPACES, TWEET zones, WALLS, PULSES, ROOMS, CLOUDS and millions of other FORUMS, it would be harder to go to a real funeral of your real dead child. GET INVOLVED. Ps, Do not misunderstand when verbal assaults begin to become physical we do have a problem, but we cannot allow simple words to become our prison, literally, big brother is watching. ~DOSH
KRUSH3D Re: NOVissue main ARTICLE. October 19, 2013 03:30PM, I think you are on the right track with that ' the parents have NOT taught the kids" concept. This parental society has watered down their personal responsibility to the point where our children's self-esteem, who they are and how they see themselves has been dictated and by the all-time babysitter THE MEDIA, social networks, entertainers, peers and the likes. When there is no foundation guiding our youth, they will allow anything and everything to speak into their lives. We live in this society that tells us 'anything goes' and that includes who and how our children see themselves. With them seeking so much approval (or LIKES, FOLLOWERS) in so many different ways as most kids do, it’s the new no-holds-barred popularity contest. They are constantly subject to unaccounted for cruelty, rudeness and downright mean spirits on a constant basis. In addition, evil begets evil. There are no parents or teachers in the 'virtual schoolyards' telling them to watch their mouths, take down those posts, or straighten up or else. Where are we parents?? The power of words has never changed. The sticks and stones concept was a 'teaching tool' our parents used to show us we could always rise above and overcome the negative things people said to us so that they could not hurt us - It has to be taught though. When's the last time you heard a kid say that phrase nowadays?

Mo3LyRICaLuV Re: NOVissue main ARTICLE. new October 28, 2013 08:28AM This is a very good topic and im writing to inform people that it really does exist and not only does it exist theres not alot beng done about it on imvu. Threw my exsperience here i have came in contact with people who have been abusive in ways of cyber bullying and also were the sitution came into my personal life im here to make people aware of some of the dangers I have heard stories were women have been stalk beyond the game to the pont were they had to leave imvu there children was being stalk as well threw information given to people threw social media and for that reason i have a domestic violence room on game to support other women know the topic is cyber bullyng but that s were it starts alot of times and can have a bad ending be careful people.
As a parent of four sons, ages 15, 12, 6 and 3, with a baby girl on the way, I have found that it is much simpler to not TURN IT ON, for our children without clear guidelines of usage and set parental monitoring. The children in this household have access to one centralized computer that has all parental controls utilized. The sites that we would like the children to stay away from are blocked and must have my Administrator password to access. In addition, their time on any such social media is limited to 30 minutes. Everyone's passwords are posted over the computer, including mine and the hubby so that we don't have any concerns about misuse of social media. The parents in this household lead by example. We don't actively engage in negative social media posts, debates or communication. We post family friendly items and only add people we actually know, unless it is for business contacts. In such cases, we immediately seek communication offline to make sure that these people are legit. We also reserve the right to delete anyone that is posting items we'd prefer not to see. For our household, there is very little concern about the misuse or overuse of any social media. To be all the way 100%, I'm hardly on IMVU anymore either. We're teaching our children to value face-to-face communication, or phone calls. Our hope is that it carries them beyond being a child in this household and into their adult lives.
As for the babysitting aspect of any electronic device, television or social media.... not happening over here! TV and game playing are scheduled times in this house, and only if all other obligations have been met. Our family still values board and card games, reading actual books, small children coloring and playing building blocks, and everyone in the kitchen talking and making/sharing meals together. Call me old-fashioned if you want to. Its working in my house. Ashe. ~Starr~ Comment @ swervemagazine22@gmail.com 16
You are thought written to creation. You are everything that law and religion has written. “The writing is now on the wall” (literally). We have entered a cycle of new writings that could very well be a new “New Testament”. Never in the history of life have so many people had so much to write, unfortunately it has remained full of mysticism and the latter of situations. We are and have always been the characters in history’s greatest stories and pre-written conditions. The problem is most having no idea they are the very authors and by the simple stroke of a pen everything could change. In closing, life was once told, “The pen is mightier than the sword”. Life still has not replied.

Kwanza For those who are not familiar with above word, I will further elaborate on the history, etymology , principles of Kwanza. The start of Kwanza was created in the 1960's by Black Nationalist by the name of Maulana Karenga who wanted to create a holiday that celebrated the history and traditions of the African heritage. His intention was never to replace Christmas, but only to give African Americans links to their roots through African customs. The week of Kwanza starts on December 26th to January 1st. The word Kwanza derives from the Swahili phrase "matunda ya kwanza", meaning "the first fruits of the harvest". Kwanzaa was a celebration that has its roots in the Black Nationalist movement of the 1960s, and was established as a means to help African Americans reconnect with their African cultural and historical heritage by uniting in meditation and study of African traditions and Nguzu Saba, the "seven principles of African Heritage" which Karenga said "is a communitarian African philosophy".

thePOEtrain It was a cold and gloomy night, the wind was howling like the bangies and old man Akroman~ wait, wait, wait that’s a story from the ”MARTIN” show, (my bad!) It was a cool evening in Oct when the POETRAIN made its first journey across the virtual railways. The engine reeved as SWBanks stood silent atop the train and head conductor Dosh posted himself in the middle isles awaiting the arrival of its first guest. “All aboard!” Dosh’s voice echoed through the grey skies bouncing off the dimly lit moon bellowing back through the train car. ~In walks TainaStacks (3rd conductor, host): Suddenly the doors screeched open and the crowds begin to float in as cool as the breeze, the night was officially under way. “All aboard!” this time muffled by the mass of a full train, the conductor continued to greet the many wonderful guests as they came from all over the world from all walks of like including, magazine companies, famous fashion designers, spiritual Gurus, advisors and some of the world’s greatest poets. “Welcome one and all to a beautiful 23rd night of October aboard the POETRAIN. Tonight’s Destination the lingo poetry club where the language is poetry and the theme is 1940s bebop jazz poetry…. As we begin our hours journey across the imvu countryside, we bring you yesteryears old skool hip-hop younger brother of bebop with a little common, mos def, tribe called quest souls of mischief black moon and more. We will also have you rolling in the isles with the hilarious comedy styling’s of DEON COLE. …

A LL A B O A R R D !
As I mentioned we have an hour to our destination to please JUST LAY BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE as SWERVEmagazine and the house of poetry take you on hiphoppin bebopin jazz filled poetic virtual night to never be forgotten”…… “Ding, Ding!”, 8:30pm rolled around and it was time to get the guest settled in and prepared for the comic styling of the all ways hilarious one and only Deon Cole. Needless to say Deon did not fail, he was “tastefully” funny (Paula Deans cooking rip) and had the audience crying with laughter. “Next stop”, Triva250 featuring all the black sitcoms of the 90s, all set to the sounds of Mos Def, Common, Tribe Called Quest and more (members Jazzz and Taian answered the majority of the questions). The POETRAIN ended its journey to the sounds of the Harlem Renaissance as it pulled up to the Lingo poetry lounge promptly at 9pm. As the train came to a halt, the wheels slowed to a grinding stop and the last steam streamed into the calm of the night. “Please follow me into the club, if you have troubles with tickets, or entry please contact one of our SWERVE staff members”. ~pause. The doors were locked. ~sigh! Thankfully, not long enough to detour or passengers and newly arriving guest. One by one, two by two they filed into the ocean side club “theLINGO poetry club” to the sounds of Dizzid Gillespe, Miles Davis and 1940’s Bebop, all played by club owner MrsTainaStacks.

Minton’s Playhouse, a jazz club in Harlem, New York, became the laboratory for these experimental musicians. By 1941, Parker, Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Christian, and Kenny Clarke were playing regularly at jam sessions there. During this period, there were two main musical paths forged. One was a nostalgic movement that reexamined the hot jazz of New Orleans. It became known as Dixieland. The other was the new, forward looking, experimental music that departed from swing and the music that preceded it. It was known as bebop. http://jazz.about.com/od/historyjazztimeline/a/JazzbyDecade1940.htmhttp://www.abou t.com/
Jazz poetry: is poetry that "demonstrates jazz-like rhythm or the feel of
improvisation".[1] During the 1920s, several poets began to eschew the conventions of rhythm and style; among these were Ezra Pound, T. S. Eliot, and E. E. Cummings. The significance of the simultaneous evolution of poetry and jazz during the 1920s was apparent to many poets of the era, resulting in the merging of the two art forms into jazz poetry. Jazz poetry has long been something of an "outsider" art form that exists somewhere outside the mainstream, having been conceived in the 1920s by African-Americans, maintained in the 1950s by counterculture poets like those of the Beat generation, and adapted in modern times into hiphop music and live poetry events known as poetry slams. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jazz_poetry

ILLUSION? Are we real or are we just illusions Participating in internet confusions, Hiding behind our computer screens And in reality much different than we seem. Have we somehow all become addicted As some people have so long predicted, Connecting with virtual and total strangers Disregarding all stalkers, pervs, and all that danger. Are we real or are we just illusionsAnd existing on self-induced delusions And the friends on IMVU & SNL we make Are they real, or are they false and fake? Are they really who they say they are Or are they different personalities by far, Do we know if their picture is for real Or did they someone else's photo steal? We form opinions and often we assume But this can lead to trouble and heartache in them rooms So until the day we actually meetOur trust in people such never eva eva be totally complete...EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAA (LOL)

HIPHOPPEDmyBEBOP
Hip hopped my bebop from a renaissance era dancing on glitter with Josephine baker, sliding across candy lands as my BO jangled where MONKS played in the most Thealonius ways. I see me running down Tin Pan Alley: “jazz is dead, jazz is dead, it’s time to create something new, the jazz is dead. I don't know much about Dixie or big bands I don't waive a wand in my hand, I am not television colored I am smothered under dirty stares and stairs accompanied by fitly sounds, My jazzy bebop bops over broken glass. “My jazz is dead” I often lounge to see that old man sitting on that old stool under the flickering street light singing from Langston’s soul as I bebop my hip hop without direction affection or rudimental connections, but that was a vision of long ago. As I step down off the faded pavement crossing through the symphony of traffic my bop intensifies as my fingers snap by my side, my head bobs and the colors of my melody become clearer. I can taste the jazz as it then leaves a bitter blue flavor on my tongue that turns white, then yellow, then brown, then red and then…….it’s just fades away. ~jazzy melody~ “but I will be back again, o I will be back"....... My jazzy bebop bops in my head as I hip-hop down cracked warped sidewalks right outside my jail like projects gate. My jazzy bebop bops by bangers drowned out by baffled buffoons unable to hear my tune crooning my Callaway’s into Charlie notes like an old jazz musician bellowing from a raspy throat. My bebop continues in a melodic breeze dancing to the city sounds under trees with no trees whispering loudly inside my head outside walking through the cold dead beats, the dead beats, “the beats are dead”. ~jazzy melody~ “but they will be back again, o and I will be back"

DON CHEADLE TALKS ABOUT MILES DAVIS FILM PROJECT SEPTEMBER 22, 2010, 4:54 pm Don Cheadle was recently interviewed by Vibe magazine about his plans to play Miles Davis in a new film. In the interview, Cheadle said, "Biopics are concerned with cradle to the grave depictions of a subject and character. This movie is much more expressive. And in my opinion, we're hopefully making a movie that Miles would want to be in as opposed to it just 'being about Miles.'" A tentative release date is set for 2013 while the movie completes development and secures financing. You can read more about plans for the film at Vibe.com. http://www.milesdavis.com/us/news/don-cheadle-talks-about-miles-davis-film-project

Setting the captive free, mending broken hearts, or opening the eyes of a new believer for the very first time. 'THERE IS NO GREATER PLEASURE!" Whether it is a person’s first experience with the Savior or a seasoned saint growing deeper in her faith, my passion is to tell women about the Truth that will set them free to be all that God has intended for them to be in Him (John 8:32; John 10:10). My prayer for each life that I have the privilege of touching is “that they will be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2-3).

Hello again my good people, here we are again with another month of “OMG let me post this PRIVATE message so the whole world can see, o but I’m not mad”. Well, I would beg to differ; those that feel it is necessary to vent very private events are in fact very offended. By sharing their inner most opinion on a non-essential occurrence serves as a way of combating whatever disposition, they are feeling due to the other party. Lol, get it? In short, your feelings have been hurt so now you want to publicly TRY to humiliate your offender. Denial is not a river and I’m not in the mood for swimming so IF you have become a line, a phrase or even a whole conversation piece, don't get mad, get over it. Weather friend or foe, always remember “YOU WROTE IT, WE QUOTE IT”. Until next time, getchaSWERVEon and don't get caught “IGNANT”……SMZstaff
THIS is NOT about disrespect but when you act TRASHtrendWORTHY don't be mad at the reactions. We are a magazine and it is our JOB to report for our columns. This month group member JAZZZMEANA shared an IMVU PULSE that didn’t fail to disappoint (in the perfect SMZ way). Joe, a billionaire, was in a dilemma. His wife's birthday was approaching and he didn't have a clue what to gift her. There was nothing that she didn't already have. So, when he shared his problem with a friend, the friend suggested, "I have a great idea. You can prepare a certificate for her which declares she can have three hours of great love making, and in any manner she likes. She should be delighted!" Joe followed his friend's advise. The next day, when Joe met his friend, his buddy asked, "So, did you take my advice? How did it go? Did you have fun?" Joe replied, "Oh, she loved it. She was ecstatic, couldn't thank me enough - she kissed me, and ran out of the house, shouting, "I will be back in three hours!"

BE HI ND the M AS K
Con- from last months issue: Well I had to take this to the world outside of myself and ask a few different cultures this question. As I went around and gathered my information; I came upon a conversation with a group of interracial people. The conversation in its short version went a little like this: A group of Israelites who were teaching out in the street was reading passages about female modesty; when a woman in thin elastic stretch pants walked by. Now the woman was an African-American and according to the conversation there were some judgmental looks on the women of Israelites’ faces that gave off a disapproval statement. When the black woman in the elastic stretch pants saw their looks; she began to rant and rave. She stated that “she was hot and would not be caught wearing all the layers as the Israelites wore and she refuses to dress like no one’s grandmother!” *Sigh of exasperation of our fellows’ sistahs in the hood struggles.* Well after causing such a scene in front of the women of Israelite group, who was not of the same ethnic race, bends forward to talk amongst each other and says “ All This is why black men only date white women;” which was heard by a black and white man standing close by. * Hold Up …and wait a minute* It gets worse; when a black man who also had witnessed the whole scene and heard what the Israelite women commented; goes to say: “Who you telling?! I can not even see myself with a black woman.” Now it really floats my boat when a black man can reference black women’s attitudes as a reason for them not to date them. My first natural reaction is to step back and exhibit the same type of attitude a black man describes. I wanted to just laugh out loud at the fact the black man said that, but his comment disturbed me just as much as the hood chick popped off being disrespectful in the middle of a religious instruction. I pulled the man to the side that made the comment and asked him again, “No black women for you at all my bother?” and he reiterated his point. “I can’t ever see it…No!” Well all three parties in this situation to me sounded ignorant honestly.
Now knowing what I have heard and what I have gathered from this one situation. I need to go out and talk to some of the African-American women. I know how it made me feel but I need to find out what affect it has on black women. See how they feel about the statement made from both side of the story. Here are some of the answers that I received from the African-American “Black Women” I came across. First and foremost, black women say is it the immaturity of a black man that dates interracial because they want someone "exotic" on their arm so they can show off. Some black women be it the light skins or dark skin woman; the black man will bypass them up for an unattractive white woman (before either a black man or woman would have said a word). Then I have had some black women say they feel a black man sometimes seek outside of their race trying to find a woman that makes them feel better about their own dark skin. Now I am amazed at the fact my black women have some different thoughts on why black men date outside of their race. One woman said to me that she thinks black men tend to be more open minded then black women when it comes to dating. Some black women cannot stomach the site of a black man with any woman outside of her being a black woman. They feel like there is only a little of good black men available to select from and they seem to be all taken by a race other than African-American. I personally just think it's not a big deal when black men create a different combination other than with a black woman together. It's a more "reserved" combination maybe? I don't know. I do know that a lot of males are attracted to black women, but some black women often do not believe that they are desired because of the media and community conditioning. These are just a few statements that affect our African-American women when it comes to the touchy subject of why so many black men date out of their race. This will conclude my Behind the Mask on Interracial Relationships. Written By LaZha DuBois LaZhaDuBois Swervemagazine22@gmail.com IMVU members: SWERVEmagazine group

IMVUBP M.G. speech The whole world is run on bluff. Marcus Garvey
Liberate the minds of men and ultimately you will liberate the bodies of men. Marcus Garvey
X Social activist Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Jr. was born on August 17, 1887, in St. Ann's Bay, Jamica. Self-educated, Garvey founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association, dedicated to promoting AfricanAmericans and resettlement in Africa. In the United States he launched several businesses to promote a separate black nation. After he was convicted of mail fraud and deported back to Jamaica, he continued his work for black repatriation to Africa http://www.biography.com/people/marcus-garvey-9307319 Marcus Garvey and his organization, the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), represent the largest mass movement in African-American history. Proclaiming a black nationalist "Back to Africa" message, Garvey and the UNIA established 700 branches in thirtyeight states by the early 1920s. While chapters existed in the larger urban areas such as New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, Garvey's message reached into small towns across the country as well. Later groups such as Father Divine's Universal Peace Mission Movement and the Nation of Islam drew members and philosophy from Garvey's organization, and the UNIA's appeal and influence were felt not only in America but in Canada, the Caribbean, and throughout Africa . http://nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/twenty/tkeyinfo/garvey.htm

Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor and chairman of Black Studies at California State University, Long Beach, created Kwanzaa in 1966. After the Watts riots in Los Angeles, Dr. Karenga searched for ways to bring African-Americans together as a community. He founded US, a cultural organization, and started to research African "first fruit" (harvest) celebrations. Karenga combined aspects of several different harvest celebrations, such as those of the Ashanti and those of the Zulu, to form the basis of Kwanzaa. http://www.history.com/topics/kwanzaa-history

ACTIVATEyaLIFE On Jul 15, 2013 At just 14, Thessalonika Arzu-Embry will be graduating Chicago State University in August with a bachelor's degree in psychology. A resident of the Great Lakes Naval Base, Thessalonika plans to continue her studies in a graduate program before opening a clinic with her mother. Thessalonika Arzu-Embry and her mother, Wonder Embry, get up at 5 in the morning most weekdays to go to school together. Unlike most 14-year-old, however, Thessalonika isn't off early in the morning to the local high school. She's going to Chicago State University. Thessalonika is putting the finishing touches on a college career that started three years ago at College of Lake County and will end next month with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Chicago State. "My college experience is a traditional college experience for me — it is just that I have completed it faster," Thessalonika said. "I am very excited about joining others in having the opportunity to contribute to society in a significant way." After their early wake-up, Thessalonika and her mom pray and work on Bible studies, then work out at a local fitness center before starting their hour-and-a-half commute from their home at the Great Lakes Naval Station near North Chicago to Chicago State, located on the city's South Side. Wonder Embry is a classmate of sorts at Chicago State, where she's a graduate student in clinical psychology. During the commute, Wonder and Thessalonika study theory together and chat about their homework assignments. Thessalonika said her mother keeps her motivated. "My mother is a strong inspiration to my success. She is a veteran of the United States Navy, and when she finished her tour, she home-schooled my brother and I," Thessalonika said. Thessalonika's mother said that for her part, she was just doing right by her daughter. "The parents are the most influential force in their own children's lives, and they have the power to influence them to do good and to go forward," Wonder Embry said. Thessalonika was home-schooled until she was 8. At age 11, after receiving the equivalent of a high school diploma through her home schooling, she passed an entrance exam to attend College of Lake County and enrolled to study psychology. She said she chose college from such a young age because she loves studying and has an interest in psychology that goes far beyond just material knowledge. One of her ultimate goals is to help people through a clinic she hopes to establish with her mother and her brother, Jeremy. Thessalonika began attending classes at Chicago State last year and is on track to graduate Aug. 30 after finishing two summer classes. If that weren't impressive enough, the 14-year-old carries a 3.9 GPA and is a member of the school's Honors College, a program designed for talented and highly motivated students. And she serves as a student senator. She spends much of her time studying, reading and working with other students. While classmates are sometimes surprised by her young age, they generally don't treat her any differently, especially since she often will help them study, Thessalonika said. Wild college parties aren't an option for Thessalonika, which is fine with her. A person's college experience is what they want to make of it, she said, and for her that means studying hard and helping others. Professor Kathryn Rogalski, associate dean of social sciences at College of Lake County, taught Thessalonika in an introductory course and served as a kind of adviser to her. She said that whenever she met with Thessalonika to discuss academics, her father, mother and brother would all come with her. Thessalonika plans to continue her studies at a graduate program for clinical psychology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, a private college in North Chicago, or Stanford University. While college can be difficult for any student, and especially one who's barely into her teens, Thessalonika credits much of her success to the strong support her family provides. Rogalski said she saw that firsthand when mentoring Thessalonika. "It's important to have a support system, especially when your peers are in a different place than you are," Rogalski said. "My biggest take-away from working with her is the importance of family." References: [newsone.com] JAZZZMEANA

FOUND IN THE VICCM office: ~WalkS in to office, looks around and notices a letter addressed to EVERYONE. Good Morning, this is GOD I will be handling ALL your problems today. Please remember ... I WILL NOT NEED YOUR HELP!!!
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD Box (something for God to do). It will be addressed in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution. If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege. Should you have a bad day at work, think of the man who has been out of work for years. Should you despair over a relationship gone bad, think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return. Should you grieve the passing of another weekend, think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children. Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance, think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk. Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror, think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine. Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful! There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity. Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities, remember ... things could be worse. You could be them!!! Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest, my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away. Love Eternally, The Lord your God

Guess who’s back FURBIE HAPPY HOLIDAYS and good will shopping.
Look who is back on the toy shelves still talking and STILL telling secrets. The “thing” that
was once banned from the White House for keeping secrets, the toy that NOW has 5 personalities and can remember names and people (5 personalities?). Hmmm! Is this really a toy, or some new improved spy technology passed off as A lovable personality, disorder having, egg laying, snitch. “FURBIE?”. You Sounds a little suspect to me however, we seem to be giving away our privacy like free government cheese anyway so why NOT. I will digress. Like the 80.’s CABBAGE PATCH DOLL the FURBIE has lines swerving around buildings and im sure will have adults acting like untrained animals (all for the love of the kids). At the cost of 70 bucks a pop, if you are on a fixed income FURBY might be on the shelf BLACK FRIDAY if you you’re first in line and don't mind being that animal that is. Your kids will LOVEit (for the first few days)…ummmmHAPPY HOLIDAYS?
TETRIS This just might be an interesting creation that reinstates “board game night”. For the first time I see a video game turn board game as oppose the other way around, and it’s not full of bullets and murder missions. As an adult I have many adult friends that spend literally hours plying Tetris on their cell phones, laptops and pcs. Well, maybe this can bring people back to the old board game days that brought the family together around the table for a night of fun and laughter. My opinion: I LOVE THE CONCEPT… In this day of technology and “I don't have time to spend with my kids” era, I’m not sure that adults will be able to convince children or themselves that have never had “board game night” to participate in a non-computer activity. I think it will take a little time for the average parent to reconnect. This is a game that in the first sales quarter I see “ONLY” responsible parents purchasing (kudos to you), only the parents that will be willing to sit down and ENJOY their child as well as the game and time. If you like puzzles and competitive nonviolent themed games I would suggest this game as a beginning to new years and new resolutions to “SPEND TIME, NOT MONEY” with your little ones. Get away from the computer screen and into your real world child with something as simple as a board game. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

If you create an URBAN product, yet price it Out of the URBAN range, you can cause PROBLEMS: If you were a child in the 80’s you know very well what I am speaking. In no way is it a reflection on the quality of the product but it does have everything to do with the price of the product. If you live in the Los Angeles California or similar areas then you really know what I’m talking about. You cannot create a product geared towards an audience that can NOT afford it. Furthermore, to act as if that is not the targeted audience is a bit belittling to the particular audience. This is not to say the URBAN audience can’t afford costly items. However, it is less likely to have certain products in abundance. IF retailers were to drop their prices to fit the demographic, THEY the producer could cut down the crime associated with its product or do not market to the demo. *In the early 80’s young men including my younger brother were being jacked (robbed) for Air Jordan tennis shoes, which ran in the hundred dollars plus range. *Also in the early/middle 80’s people were being robbed for STARTER JACKETS. Including my cousin and one brother. Depending on where you bought your jacket the price was around two hundred plus. (The more popular the sports team the more expensive). *The 90’s rolled around and snatching Chains begin to resurface and still exist until this day. (All gaudy jewelry, bling bling). We could continue this list forever so we will just jump on over to 2013. *BEATS by DRE. I LOVE THEM but People are being robbed and I’m shocked that the media has not reported more on the many incidents. These great headphones give off a brilliant sound and come in nice vibrant kiddie candy colors that are sure to catch the eye. I have used these headphones several times and the suction of the earphone is so powerful you have to adjust to the pressure (I don't know if that’s good or bad). It also creates a sound field that blocks out virtually everything around you. When it comes to pure sound quality I would go for these earphones without a second guess, they ARE just that good if you can afford). If you decide to buy them for your child, I don't suggest you send him or her off to school with them or to the local park. Adults in society have no problem taking from a small child and with BEATS starting at a little over two hundred dollars IT makes it that more tempting. Therefore, this Christmas I’m sure BEATS will be flying of the shelves in the URBAN and SUBURBAN music arenas regardless of the price, JUST DON’T get BEAT for a pair of BEATS…BE careful.

Virtual toy shop needs a new SANTA.. WE have taken hours and days searching the IMVU toy stores for all the best and latest toys to hit the market. Well let’s just say “SANTA seems to have moved on to COPY/PASTE, DERIVE and STEAL lane”. You creators out there need the eggnog slapped out of you. You need the missal toe kicked out ya holiday. You NEED the CREATIVITY smacked back into your designs. It appears that all of “Santa’s little helpers” have found the templates and recreated them to death. First, if you cannot interact with the toy it is JUST furniture NOT a toy. Second, changing the color does NOT make you a creator; it pretty much makes you a thief annnd not even a good thief (no disrespect).
I found a few toys and after that, it became furniture and bad patterns of otherwise good creations. HOWEVER, I did come across some great textures and a few great items, here are a few of our favorites. THANKS TO THE TOY MAKERS THAT TAKE THE TIME TO CREATE FOR THE KIDS NOT FOR THE CREDITS

PEARLS OF WISDOM Fr: MrsSade3757Yorts
HAVE YOU EVER REALLY GIVEN THOUGHTS TO BIRTHDAYS. WHY DO WE MAKE A BIG FUSS OVER THEM OR WHY WE DON'T? IS GETTING A YEAR OLD THAT MUCH BETTER? THE BIRTHDAY CAKE, THE GIFTS AND THE PARTIES. WHAT REALLY IS THE BIG DEAL? AS WE GET OLDER BY THE YEAR, WE GROW CLOSER TO DEATH. BIRTHDAYS REALLY ARE A TIME TO REFLECT ON WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO MAKE A CHANGE, NOT ONLY IN OUR LIFE, BUT THAT OF OTHERS. GIVING THANKS AND PRAISES TO THE ALMIGHTY ONE FOR NOT ONLY BLESSING US WITH OUR LIFE, BUT WALKING WITH US THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO SEE YET ANOTHER ONE. YES THE CAKE AND THE GIFTS ARE GREAT, YES BEING LOVED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND ACKNOWLEDGE IS WONDERFUL, BUT THE GREATEST GIFT THAT WE HAVE IS JESUS..HE IS BETTER THAN CAKE, BETTER THAN GIFTS, HE IS THE CREATOR OF ALL LIVING THINGS...THE BREAD OF LIFE..SO WHEN YOUR BIRTHDAY COMES AND YOU PREPARE TO BLOW OUT EVERYONE OF THOSE CANDLES; FOR EVERY GREETING YOU GET GIVE JESUS MILLIONS MORE FOR ALLOWING YOU TO SEE JUST ONE MORE DAY. *MRSSADE375YORTS* EARLS OF WISDOM..... 1 CHRONICLES 16:8-10 "GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE. SING TO HIM, SING PRAISE TO HIM; TELL OF ALL HIS WONDERFUL ACTS. GLORY IN HIS HOLY NAME; LET THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD REJOICE." ENJOY THIS SONG!!! THANK YOU LORD..... www.youtube.com

I am QueenDaSanya formally know as Sweetness777b. Ive been on imvu for a little while 6 years to be exact. I just try to live my life as if it was the last day. Im here to have fun. I use to be a phlebotomist, medical assistant n cna for 18 years. I did house calls as a cna to various family members and friends despite my work schedule 3am - 7am, 8a - 530pm and 10pm - 230am. I am a people pleaser not to be confuse with stupidity, naive, or ignorance. The name Sweetness was given to me as a child and still carried to this day. The majority of my cna work was done for free. I was offered money and most of the time I refused it. To only find it in my lab coat pocket when I got home. That's just the type of person I am. My life made a dramatic change in 2009 so Im now disabled. Now Im back in this world to take my mind off of things. No self pity party here just stating who I am. I love life, I love people, animals. I know GOD is a healer and at the moment everything is at a stand still. Maybe one day at poetry night I'll have a testimony in my poem. Hope to meet everyone. GOD bless n getcha swerve on.

Strange trees bare strange fruit, stranger seeds reap the benefits! We shall now reap what WE sow thus grow a new creating bitter strangers yet better circumstances. We shall no longer march to freedom but establish our freedom where WE STAND. We are grinded seeds scattered and not expected to grow.. We are misplaced and misguided on foreign soil desperately seeking salvation. We are the seeds that some would say the SON does not shine on. “I” am a seed full of life I “AM” the son for which the very light exists. We are the very daughters and sons that inspire your growth. We are from the seeds of majestic poets. WE are the profound quotes of your future. We are the leaves that will surround somber tombstones and drift on joyous occasions. We are those that fight for the sanctity of growth… we are the

To Someone who sees me :
Jazzzmeana
It's hard to be me when each day I stand trial, The judgement misplaced, staying in denial. Waltzing around in life with a fantastical facade, Keep my eyes cast down, stay silent, and nod. To trudge each week without smiles or laughter, To repress the memories of Not-So-Happily-Ever-After. To continually wonder why I'm still even here... To scream at the world and cover my ears. I curse the skies--they don't cry as hard as I. I beg them for an answer, but they give me no reply. Why you like me is a concept I can't comprehend, But you pick up my pieces, hold them, they mend. Life taught me that caution is a must. Hold in your feelings and never do trust. But it's hard to hide when you make me smile, maybe this whole living thing is really worth while. Thank you for showing me happiness.

2nd CUPof theMORNING (last seconds) Today I come to you with my second cup of coffee in hand as the rainfalls on a gloomy Thursday morning in California (it never rains? HEY Tony Toni and Tonie, HA!). As I always do in the mornings, I reached over to my virtual news and begin to search the current events and overnight happenings. I decided to stop by YOUtube to tune in to some comedy (the Parkers, Heeeeey!), but instead I ended up coming across a video from a group calling itself “Give Back Films”. What they were doing on this particular video was going around giving money to homeless people, One hundred dollars per person to be exact. Tears fell down my face from the very first dollar given. I was amazed at the humility and strength of individuals that were homeless. I was most amazed at their LOVE for GOD. I often find myself amazed at the faith of those that seemly should be the most angered and least Godly. People that sometimes have every right to be emotionally wounded seem to be those that have found something incredible and untarnished. When someone does a good deed and the first word out of the mouth of the recipient is “GOD bless you brother”, weather you believe in God or not it becomes powerful sediment and it further inspires. Im not the holder of any kind of Grail, I don't take sides on spiritual matters but I do know that people believe in it and it causes some to be great in life’s walk. “GOD IS GOOD” (when you allow). THINK about it and don't just say it, “GOD IS GOOD”. Simple enough IF we had true understanding. “GOOD”. Go outside and be GOOD for GOODNESS sake. In honor of this video, I have decided to do the same and PAY IT FORWARD.
NOV 21-23nd GIFTING, inbox: DOSHAIMAN “GOD IS GOOD”
To see someone so thankful that tears fall from their eyes makes tears fall from my eyes.~DOSH To hear them say “man I was just about to give up, thank you god”. This is more than profound; this is the reality of what should be. We all have a God spirit inside and it’s up to us to share it with the world. It’s not something that we can call on, it’s not magic, and I’m sorry it’s not in the sky. When we realize what we are we then realize what we can do. We are everything we need to be in order to succeed. We have to STOP waiting on GOD and understand he is just waiting on you while you are waiting on yourself: GET UP GET OUT GET INTO IT GET IT ON! PAY IT FORWARD! Watch “GIVE BACK FILMS” every MONDAY on YOUtube..
“SOMETIMES I CRY” By:Marvin Perkins Jr.
LIFE is hard: sometimes you just have to let the bad stuff out. Let the tears flow and let the pain take its course. The Holidays are perhaps the most emotional times of year and we all need someone at some time. Please be a FRIEND this holiday, as corny as it sounds “you might save someone’s life by just talking to them” If you find yourself down this holiday, don't be too proud to cry on a friends shoulder. Reach out to an old friend and say hello, spend a little time giving your time to a worthy cause. Cry to the sky and then get in motion. Just as we find ourselves in a bad space, we can just as easily find that space of peace. ~DOSH
