Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber, described to possess fabric like material that is made up mostly carbon atoms in which they get woven together. Carbon fiber is considered a high end material and is often the most expensive option, but yields the best performance.
RESEARCH PAVILION 2012
DESIGNERS Institute for Computational Design (ICD) and the Institute of building Structures and Structural Design (ITKE) completed a robotically fabricated research pavilion from carbon and glass fiber.
PROCESS Step 1: Moulding Step 2: Resin Preparation Step 3: Carbon Fiber Placement Step 4: Removing from Mold .
