ROAD FUNDING: House Bill 1001 increases road funding in the short term, creates a local road and bridge matching grant fund, created a sixteen member task force to suggest a long-term sustainable road funding plan, and fully funds a third Regional Cities grant - ensuring Southwest Indiana would receive a full $42 million.
