We met up with Enterprising Women Nicole Reilly and Sandy Almerico at The Healing House in downtown Covington. They prepared for their photo shoot by relaxing in their office space and having their make up professionally applied by Sarah Early of Sarah M. Early Makeup. We were able to get to know a different side of the pair by asking them a few questions that weren’t a part of their Enterprising Woman interview. SW: What book are you reading right now? NR: I usually read two or three books at a time, right now it’s T. Harv Eker’s Secrets of a Millionaire Mind and Medical Medium, Anthony William’s new book.

AS WE TAKE DOWN

our Christmas decorations and pack them away for another eleven months, I, like so many, reflect on the year past and think about my hopes for the new year. For me a big milestone is around the corner, my son is turning 16 at the end of January! I am so proud of the young man he is becoming and of the choices that he is making. When he leaves the house I always tell him to make smart choices, as he grows older he naturally becomes more independent and so I trust the lessons he has learned will follow him. I am not ready for him to be driving alone, even though he has taken his driver’s education and spent the last six months practicing, it is going to be so hard to see him driving down the road on his own. I can only pray my voice saying “make smart choices” will be in his thoughts. With the new year many people think about making resolutions. Some of us see it as a perfect time to start a diet or exercise plan or to spend more time with our families. In this issue, we share some local businesses that are available to help make healthy choices in 2016. We also meet two Enterprising Women that have made choices to enhance the health of others from the inside out, Sandy Almerico and Nicole Reilly both practice at The Healing House in Covington. Whether you choose to make a resolution or not I wish you all a happy and healthy New Year! Enjoy the issue!

Patient suffered from behavioral disorders since puberty, suffering insomnia, antisocial behavior, anxiety, panic, severe depression, and suicidal for over 6 years. These conditions did not allow the patient to maintain employment. Patient sought treatment with mental health professionals in New York, Colorado, and California. After years of counseling and medications, the patient was no longer suicidal, but could not live a quality life. Prescription medications: Wellbutrin, Valium, Lexapro. Note: patient was unable to work, poor personal, and family relationships.

“We’re not just treating brainwave dysregulation such as BrainWorks & BrainCore programs…We’re that and SO MUCH MORE!” LAB FINDINGS: Initial: Eight brain neurotransmitters and adrenal cortisol levels which are associated with stress were tested. Tests showed significant deficiencies to include Dopamine (depression hormone), Serotonin (sleep hormone) GABA (antianxiety / sleep hormone). A 24-hour Adrenal Cortisol test demonstrated abnormal spikes during the day, which was triggered by the fight-flight response of stress, anxiety, anger and fear. Also, abnormally high levels at night contributed to chronic insomnia.

RESULTS: Neurotransmitters were increased, allowing significant reduction in all aspects of behavioral disorders. The patient no longer needed two of the three prescriptive medications. Since treatment, patient has not just managed to survive daily at home in a recluse lifestyle, but has improved social interactions with family, able to maintain and function at work, enriched with personal relationships. Presently, the patient is enjoying life at it’s best. She has traveled several times within the U.S. and abroad to Europe twice!

beauty Loyalty! Loyalty? EVERY BUSINESS SCREAMS about “churn.” “Churn” is the inevitable fact that a business will always lose and gain customers. Obviously, this is due to many factors. People move away, their financial situation changes, or they no longer need or require the product/ service the business provides. One of the best ways to combat the losing portion of this equation is to have more new customers coming in all the time. Unfortunately, like most businesses, the salon industry falls into the same issue dealing with “churn.” We are always looking for new ways to bring new people into our salon. We are always seeking loyal, repetitive guests. Many salon owners turn to the same tactics as other businesses. Salon owners feel they must give a heavy discount for “First Timers.” Discounting is a good idea in theory; but, what about the ones who have supported that business? Even with competition popping up around every corner, the loyal people who stay with the business always seem to get the short end of the perks stick.

If you give a discount, give it to everyone. Why will businesses discount, or even give away, their most popular service/product to people who have never been to the business before, while charging their loyal customers full rate? Where is the incentive for people to remain loyal, when they are not being rewarded for being loyal? My question is if a business has been in business for more than a year, and they feel they must give away everything just to get new people in the door, what are they not doing to take care of their regulars? Bottom line, if you want loyalty, you must first remain loyal. If you give a discount, give it to everyone.

PLANNING AND COOKING

three balanced meals a day can seem challenging, sometimes impossible, when trying to fit in all of the other demands to your day. Ingrid Rinck, owner of FITCAMP, saw this void in the community for healthy, calorie-controlled meals and decided to launch her newest venture, Sensible Portions. “What makes Sensible Portions different from every other program out there is its price and realistic approach to weight loss,” Ingrid says. “Most meal programs make people think that they need to eat super clean, 100 percent of the time, but that’s just not realistic for the majority of people, especially those that have struggled with their weight.” As a mother of three and owner of an expanding business, Ingrid knows what it feels like to put your own health last on the long list of priorities. She put her own philosophies to the test when her weight reached over 200 pounds after the birth of her third child and has since lost 120 pounds thanks to Sensible Portions’ easy to follow plan. If you think you will spend your time eating bland chicken and over-cooked broccoli, that’s just not the case with this program. Broccoli and chicken may be on the menu, but so might gumbo, waffles and macaroni and cheese. “We prepare these items in a lighter way and portion them so you don’t feel like you are missing out.” Ingrid explains. Portion control, Ingrid says, is they key ingredient in losing weight and this is what she hopes to teach people with Sensible Portions. She stresses that while the meal sizes may seem small at first, they are actually the ideal portion size for weight loss. Sensible Portions meals are comprised of 1,000 calories (or 1,300 for men or those looking to maintain their weight), the optimal amount for weight loss and burning your body’s stored fat. The plan consists of three meals per day, Monday through Friday, and uses fresh and local ingredients.

Each week, the meals will be different and specifically formulated for the correct amount of calories and a balance of nutrients. The variety keeps the meals from becoming mundane, and as Ingrid explains, “This allows health professionals to choose your weekly menu to help with weight loss and guide you to better health.” All of the food is prepared in a licensed, industrial-sized kitchen in Mandeville by a large staff of chefs and professionals. Pick-up locations are conveniently located in Mandeville, Metairie and Baton Rouge. And now for the real surprise, its affordability: $80 a week for 15 meals. “Once you are ready, weight loss is not as difficult as it might seem with a little belief in yourself and some professional guidance.” For more information or to sign up for Sensible Portions meals, text “I’M READY” to 985-290-9757.

of the most common and debilitating complaints that afflicts about 100 million Americans annually, accounting for 20 percent of doctors’ visits and 12 percent of all prescriptions. It is the most common cause of long-term disability and missed work. There are two categories of pain. Adaptive pain involves a survival mechanism protecting an organism from an injury and promotes healing. Maladaptive or chronic pain represents pathologic functioning of the nervous system. Pain sensation begins in the peripheral nervous system, precipitated by a noxious stimulus activating specialized nociceptors, which transmit pain signal to spinal cord column and then to the central nervous system where it is processed as pain perception. Types of pain include nociceptive pain, which involves an injury to body tissues (somatic), to internal organs (viscera) and musculoskeletal system; or inflammatory and mechanical/ compressive pain. Neuropathic pain arises from abnormal neural activity secondary to disease, injury or dysfunction of the nervous system. For example: diabetic neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, postherpetic neuralgia, phantom limb pain, and pain from spinal cord injuries or stroke. There are multiple mechanisms that lead to persistent pain, including changes in chemical environment of pain receptors due to tissue inflammation; augmentation of sensitivity by central nervous system to initial pain stimulus; increased sensory inflow from site of injury; structural changes to sensory neurons; primary sensory neuron degeneration and reduction in inhibition pathway to pain stimuli, leading to increased excitability. The choice of pain management depends upon the types of pain one has. Please contact your friendly Primary Care Physician for more details on the matter discussed. Source: Up to Date.

Two examples stood out from our conversations, which are harbingers of things to come. We enjoy receiving awards and recognition from our peers, but the joy we get from The first was the fact that my dermatologist friend spends at least an hour a day reviewing letters of referral, which are necessary within the public system to secure an appointment with a specialist. As he triages through these letters regarding patients whose doctors recommend specialist care, he decides by using government guidelines who is allowed to make an appointment and who is not. The lucky ones get an appointment…in six months or more! And this New Zealand system, which only cares for 4 million people, is considered to be efficient compared to other countries’ public systems. In the U.S., as millions and millions in the middle class are forced to enroll, imagine what our future will be if the current law remains in force.

health Wellness through Expressive Arts Therapy EXPRESSIVE ARTS THERAPY (EAT)

is a multimodal approach to wellness that can be used in conjunction with talk therapy as a means of bridging the gap between the conscious and unconscious mind. The use of expressive arts within a therapeutic setting can provide insight into core issues that may otherwise be blocked by the conscious mind. In using modalities other than traditional talk therapy, individuals may be able to bring to light what may be difficult to verbalize. Yoga, journaling, art, music, and movement; all are tools that can be utilized to help a person obtain new meaning and healing. The emphasis is on the creative experience’s therapeutic effect, highlighting a person’s capacity to transform thoughts, feelings and experiences into tangible form. Talent and ability are not required for a person to benefit from EAT. Each person’s process is completely unique, and as we say in session, the focus is on “the process, not the product.” This process is often referred to as “low skill, high sensitivity” due to the sensory experience that allows the imagination to process and support healing. Research demonstrates the use of EAT in conjunction with talk therapy is beneficial to overall wellness and treatment of a wide variety of physical and emotional health conditions. In particular: social anxiety, trauma, depression, cystic fibrosis, ADHD and eating disorders. When various interventions are used in conjunction with traditional medicine, it is considered an “integrative approach.” This approach allows clinicians and treatment teams to address wellness on a holistic basis, with considerations of the body, mind and spirit. We utilize an integrative approach with all of our patients that include a variety of expressive arts therapy. We have witnessed transformation, healing and freedom from emotional pain through the use of evidence based and value based treatment like expressive arts therapy.

regularly in our practice. The Medicaid and VA figures will not change for 2016. The amount you are free to give to each person for this calendar year without either party having to file anything with the IRS is $14,000 (this means a married couple could give $28,000 to each person). This is called the annual exclusion gift amount. The amount one spouse may gift for free to the other spouse who is not a U.S. Citizen: $148,000, and an unlimited amount to a spouse who is a U. S. Citizen. The amount you are able to leave your loved ones at your death free of any estate taxes or state inheritance taxes: $5,450,000 (or a married couple may leave $10,900,000). For Medicaid purposes, the amount the “at home” community spouse may retain in countable resources if the other spouse is in a nursing home: $119,220 (the primary home, worth up to $552,000, is not considered as a “countable” resource, but after the death of both spouses Medicaid may seek estate recovery against the home). A single person who is in a nursing home may keep only up to $2,000 in countable resources, a married couple who both are in a nursing home may keep only up to $3,000 in countable resources.

Medicaid will not institute estate recovery if an heir’s adjusted gross income (AGI) is 300% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, the following are annualized 300% figures based on family size for 2015: (1) $35,310, (2) $47,790, (3) $60,270, (4) $72,750. Unfortunately, the 2016 figures will not be available until late January 2016. For Medicaid purposes, the amount of monthly income the “at home” spouse may keep of the “institutionalized” spouse’s monthly income is up to $2,980.50 per month, assuming the “at home” spouse had no other income. The VA Aid & Attendance Improved Pension Program monthly figures: both Veteran and Spouse needing care: $2,120, Veteran only: $1,788, healthy Veteran with sick spouse: $1,408, Widow of Veteran: $1,149 and Veteran married to Veteran: $2,837. To have the assessed value of your Homestead “frozen” according to the “Senior Freeze” laws, an owner of the property must be 65 or older with an AGI of $71,490 or less on their 2015 tax return. Raw oysters with Lemon Mignonette from Ox Lot 9 in Covington.

It’s an “R” Month, Bring on the Oysters WRITTEN BY JAN ROBERT PHOTO BY JERRY COTTRELL

IN RECENT YEARS,

my foodie friends and I are just seeking a little peace and quiet as we end one year and start the new year after a hectic season of overeating and overindulging at holiday parties. We traditionally end the old year with an oyster “every kind of way” feast. If the weather cooperates, we stage this soppy event outside. Creamy oyster stew (June 2015), oysters Rockefeller, baked oysters Mosca style, grilled charbroiled oysters, (June 2015), and of course, the simplicity of raw and salty and on the half shell. I may need to add Christina Baldwin’s recipe for baked oysters with chorizo and fennel to our repertoire this year (February 2015). We all chip in and purchase a couple of sacks of oysters, dust off the oyster shucking equipment, line up the outdoor tables, and make sure that we have adequate amounts of lemon, horseradish, ketchup and Worcestershire. I also like to eat the raw oysters with a homemade Mignonette sauce, comme les francais. A Mignonette consists primarily of fresh chopped shallot, mixed peppercorns, dry white wine and

14 Sophisticated Woman | January 2016

lemon juice or sherry vinegar and sometimes a touch of excellent olive oil. Uglesich’s in New Orleans used to serve them this way. Salty and cold with this perfectly balanced not too spicy sauce that enhances the complex flavors of the Louisiana oyster. Oh and don’t forget the champagne and beer. Or, my favorite, a slightly chilled Sancerre wine from the Loire valley. These are the perfect accompaniments for the briny bivalves and for toasting the New Year. This is health food isn’t it? Or healthy food if we choose raw oysters that are not smothered in butter and breadcrumbs. Oysters are an excellent source of zinc, iron, calcium and selenium, as well as vitamin A and B12 and they are rich in protein. And we all know that oysters are considered to be an aphrodisiac. “Eat oysters, love longer.” Please check the references to the Foodies and Friends archives listed above for more recipes online. Nicole Reilly and Sandy Almerico ENTERPRISING WOMEN The Healing House: Care for the Most Important Loved One in Your Life WRITTEN BY JILL WILLIE PHOTOS BY STEVE RANDON

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS are proclaimed almost as soon as the bells chime at midnight. The desire to step away from the hectic pace of life and spend more quality time with loved ones is a resolution spoken time and time again. The Healing House in Covington provides the opportunity to discover peace and wellness for the loved ones most of us forget—ourselves. With a diverse set of offerings from professionals with a variety of holistic modalities, from nutritional consulting to interpersonal and parent/child relationships (as featured in the July issue of SW), as well as massage therapy, The Healing House is also a sanctuary for people searching for peace on a more soulful level. Sandy R. Almerico, ANP-C, is an adult nurse practitioner specializing in physical wellness, through yoga and meditation while Nicole Reilly, also a registered nurse, uses her intuitive psychic mediumship to help people connect beyond the physical world into the spiritual one. Both women firmly believe that faith and good fortune are what led them all together in the form of The Healing House.

Sandy Almerico Sandy was first introduced to yoga 10 years ago. Her then 16-year-old daughter had been taking yoga classes and thought her mom would benefit from learning the discipline. Sandy explained that although she walked into the studio reluctantly, she exited with a sense of peace so powerful that she knew yoga was a perfect fit to balance her busy lifestyle. Over the next decade, Sandy honed her practice of yoga, even integrating breathing techniques and yoga movements into her everyday life. For the most part, it remained a private passion—a personal refuge from her nursing career. It wasn’t until she enrolled in a nine-month training course last year that she began seriously considering becoming a full-scale instructor. The pursuit of Bhatkii yoga (an integrated branch of yoga where the mind, body and sprit are put into harmony through the breath) was so fulfilling that she wanted to share this

It was more than finding an individual office space, it was about sharing similar passions as the people within it. There is so much potential for all of us to work together to address every aspect of a person’s life—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.” Sandy provides wellness consultations, which include a comprehensive physical exam, as well as guidance based on an individual’s preference for desired areas of growth. Using a combination of traditional medicine and Eastern philosophies, Sandy can direct an individual to a larger view of health and lifestyle goals. She is also currently undergoing Ayurvedic certification and will soon employ these techniques in her practice. With appointments that last a full 60 minutes, Sandy is also able to teach her client’s private meditation, yoga and breath techniques. “By integrating these modalities in everyday life, a person can establish life-long discipline rather than managing symptoms as they occur,” she said. Just knowing the right way to breathe can make a tremendous difference. It has in my own life.”

Taking a deep breath and charging ahead at full speed is exactly what Nicole did once she conceived her vision of The Healing House. She explained, “I was a medium, something non-traditional in the United States. I knew that in order to share my vocation with others, I had to create my own space. I also knew that I didn’t want to be alone in this endeavor. I wanted to create a calm, nurturing, sacred space for practitioners in the holistic realm as well as their clients, to come together and heal.” While The Healing House moved quickly from vision to reality, Nicole’s acceptance of her mediumship was anything but quick. Compelled to bring healing and comfort to people throughout her life, Nicole began her career as a nurse and wound care specialist. “As a home health nurse I would care for my patients over extended periods of time. I began to realize that my mission was not solely to heal a physical wound, but to bring healing to the mind, body and spirit,” she said. She started studying alternatives to Western medicine such as Pranic Healing, Hypnotherapy, Numerology, Meditation and Quantum Life Coaching. While all of these healing modalities are tools she used on herself and loved

There is so much potential for all of us to work together to address every aspect of a person’s life—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.”

I realized the only way I would ever be fulfilled was to follow my soul’s calling. A calling that I have always had, but strongly denied. I began to speak my own truth, and I have never looked back,” she said. There is a unique dynamic that takes place when Nicole performs a reading with someone. While there is much emotion, validation and love, there are always important lessons that loved ones in spirit wish to teach. These lessons are what Nicole describes as the true gift of mediumship. “Communication with spirit is never about me and my mediumship,” she continued. “I am simply the conduit of these lessons—these gifts.” Whether losing a loved one, or losing yourself along the way, Nicole has a very strong belief that healing your soul is the first step in finding your life’s purpose. By learning to speak her own truth as a practicing medium at The Healing House, Nicole has found the purpose and passion that has eluded her. “If there is a legacy to leave to my children, it is this: ‘Ultimately it doesn’t matter what anyone calls me—a psychic, an empath, or a spiritual counselor—what matters is that I have discovered my purpose, my life’s work. I am a loving, spiritual being who has the potential to reach out and satisfy the yearning of a person who has lost a loved one. I know without a doubt that is who I am, who I was destined to be.” The Healing House is located at 1101 Village Walk in Covington. For more information, visit thehealinghousecovington.com.

ones, she continued to feel the pull to do more. Something was still missing. Nicole explained that in order to get answers, she had to go back to a question she’d been asking herself most of her life. “I have asked ‘Who am I?’ for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until I had the opportunity to spend almost two years in quiet reflection that I was able to fully embrace my vocation as a medium.” “Once I learned to shut out the noise and distractions with meditation and contemplation,

Quality Dental Care

Action Action WRITTEN BY DR. MARY W. SPEED

WHEN I GET TO VISIT

with my 3-year-old grandson Jet, he says, “Granma, take your shoes off.” When it’s time for him to go, Jet says, “But Granma, I want to stay here FOREVER!” And, I do too. I want to keep my shoes off and stay awhile longer listening to his small voice telling me things I can’t understand, which is likely how he hears me too—saying things that his mind can’t take in. Much of what the news tells us is hard to hear. The way we can tolerate the uncertainty and the blur of change is to savor moments like it’s a forever time to visit, listen. We can face 2016 resolute to have hope. We can be glad that some moments are not ones we want to linger. Coping with such times can be done. Have a supportive family. Actively pursue a hobby. Belong to some social or activity group that meets at least once a month (other than your family). Stay within five pounds of your ideal bodyweight, considering your height and bone structure. Every day practice some form of deep relaxation, prayerful meditation. Exercise 30 minutes or longer three or more times a week. Eat nutritionally balanced and wholesome meals three or more times a week. Every week do something just for yourself that you really enjoy doing. Have a place in your home that you can go in order to relax and/ or be by yourself. Practice managing your time daily. Faith and hope anew in 2016. Like I heard Jet say, snapping shut his film director’s clapperboard from atop the stairs, “Action, EVERYONE!”

European E legance

WRITTEN BY KATIE RUTH PRIEST PHOTOS BY TIMOTHY DUNFORD

The 6,700-square-foot home of Keith and Lorraine McDaniel is breathtaking down to its ornate details. Having lived and renovated in Uptown, the McDaniels developed a taste for features in turn of the century architecture. This background inspired the 11-foot ceilings of the home complimented by cypress planks in the den. The home features striking European doors on the interior and exterior along with antique wrought iron doors on the bar that highlight the beauty of the house.

In the backyard, the fountain adds soothing sounds to the relaxation of the screened porch overlooking a swimming pool. The couple has fond memories of enjoying the porch while watching their children swim. Built in the midst of Katrina, the design of the four bedroom, four and a half bath home is a mix of modern and classic pieces designed by the homeowner. “Ultimately, I hoped to create a comfortable, inviting home for my family, said Lorraine who described her taste as eclectic. The design continues the stunning woodwork with heart of pine floors and upgraded trim in areas of the house. The upstairs study even features a unique bookcase that swings open to reveal a home gym.

The kitchen is filled with stainless steel appliances and accompanied by blown glass light fixtures, which the family purchased on a skiing trip from an art gallery in Park City, Utah. An open floor plan for the kitchen and den was chosen with entertaining in mind, since the majority of people congregate in the kitchen. The kitchen, completed with scored concrete floors, is where the homeowners spend the majority of their time. 30 Sophisticated Woman | January 2016

THE HOLIDAYS

are gone, but don’t throw away those living decorations! Maybe you were gifted a Christmas cactus or Hawaiian Christmas tree and who didn’t buy a poinsettia or two? The leaves are wilted, the flowers may be gone but, just like us—the once beautiful creatures are just a little tired! Please, please don’t throw them away. What you have can thrive again with just a little tender loving care. • Remove all holiday wrapping from the plant’s container. • Make sure the container has drain holes. • Aerate the soil and if there is room, add a little fresh potting soil. • Trim all dead leaves or foliage away. • Place container on or in another saucer or container that will collect drainage. • Position plants near a good light source that is also away from direct drafts. • Water at least once a week. Soil should be dry on top but feel moist at least one inch down before you re-water. These are good general tips for any houseplant. What you need to remember about holiday houseplants is that the blooms will not last forever. That is okay. Christmas mums and azaleas can easily be trimmed and kept safely indoors until spring temps stay above 60 degrees at night. At that time, find a nice spot in the garden and plant them. They will reward you with new blooms come fall! Your Christmas cactus will also lose its lovely blooms. Find a sunny windowsill and

come Easter, you will probably have blooms again. These plants will do well indoors all year round, but a shady patio placement in the spring and summer will get you lots of new growth. If you received an Amaryllis, the lovely, large flower will also die back at some point. The plant itself is a large bulb, so when the leaves and flower begin to yellow, plant the bulb at least two to three inches deep outside in a flower bed and mulch well. The foliage and bloom should return next year in the late fall. Poinsettias can be tough to look at when they shed all their leaves and only have the showy red bracts left at the top of the stem. Do not despair, there is still life here! Group these stick-like creatures together in one large, well-draining pot and sit this near a bright window. Only water once a week and before long you will see little leaf shoots on those bare stems. When the new leaves appear, trim away the red bracts. Poinsettias will do well in pots in partial sunlight outdoors. By the end of fall, they will once again begin to grow the red bracts and you will have a new poinsettia for the holiday season! Remember that, as living things, we are all connected. A little patience, a little care, a little houseplant reminds us that holidays can last all year! Happy New Year! The study skills and techniques they have taught me will stick with me forever.” “I wish I would have put my oldest daughter through Huntington. I missed the boat. It would have made a real difference with her just like it did with Emma. My daughter was already a great student, but after Huntington her ACT scores jumped eight points.” —Emma M.’s parents

“Ethan was developmentally delayed and struggled in several aspects of his life as a young child. Huntington gave him the opportunity to work one on one to acquire the skills he personally needed not only excel academically, but to get ahead. His developmental delay is now a thing of the past! GRACE “Huntington has made an improvement in my life. It has made school easier for me in every subject. Before I started Huntington, my grades were dropping. I couldn’t keep up with everyone, and I wasn’t understanding what was being taught. Then I started attending Huntington. I didn’t like it much at first, but as time went on I started to see how much it was really helping me. My grades started improving, and I started to feel better about myself and my abilities. Now I recommend to anyone struggling in school to sign up for Huntington. It makes a difference in learning!” “I signed Grace up for Huntington because I saw her struggling both inside and outside of the classroom. At first I didn’t see any changes in her skills or confidence. As she nears completion of the program, everything Ann and Amanda discussed was coming to fruition. Grace is independent with her homework, even math. Her overall confidence has soared in every area of her life. Thank you to the teachers and staff at Huntington for making my daughters future stronger and brighter. It has been worth every financial sacrifice to see the amazing results.” — Grace’s Mother
