Tyranny has taught Filipinos to succumb to the plots of the vicious and inept governing body. But we refuse to endure their exploits, Tindig, as we verbalize it. It means to stand still, a stance against despotism and abuse. The power of art is unbreakable and speaks louder than words. It's time to break this destructive pedagogy, the mold that used to fit us. CONCEPT AND ART BY JOHN LLOYD ABCEDE

EDITOR'S NOTE
With the introduction of Online Classes, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many normalcies took a turn. However, this unexpected change has brought many challenges for students, teachers, and front liners. These challenges are also evident in the publication. There were many restraints in the communication between Inkers and the production of updates through online posts. Hence, the publication has taken different routes to adapt to this abrupt shift to the Online World. We broke the mold and developed modern and timely solutions to said hurdles. It was a heavy task upbringing the publication as many pressures weighed upon us, and the stress of adjusting to this new set-up was, at some point, tough to bear. Despite shuffling through a myriad of anxieties while witnessing near-apocalyptic horrors, the passions of our journalists remain ignited. It prompted many to speak about the injustices made apparent during this time. Conforming to the Online World has steadily become a lighter load to carry, yet still, an ongoing hassle. Although, the publication continues to innovate and transform. And together, break the mold.

The institution celebrated the entire month with tons of activities for our studentmathematicians. Our young chess masters showcased their wits and strategic intelligence as they fought for the trophy. A lot competed but Jon Michael Sy from Grade-12 became the victor of the event. On the other hand, the Damath competition was divided into two categories; one for each grade level. Kim Joshua Samson won for the Grade-11, while Prince Aiken Dale S. Sumaylo for the Grade-12. Both are from the same strand and cluster--STEM C.

The winners are Jarixa Balbuena from grade 12-STEM A, Geceil Marie Portallo from grade 12-STEM C, and Jairah Mae Flores from grade 12-STEM E respectively. Smiles and giggles were all over the social media platform--Facebook as our SWUdents battled to let the public see the fun in Mathematics by making the most humorous jokes related to the subject. The Best Math Meme award was given to Christian Dave Pancho while Bethany Faith Bataluna won the Best Math Pun; both are Grade 12 students from ABM Cluster B.
Craftsmanship and resourcefulness have been recognized as representatives from the Best Cosplay Photo Contest presented different kinds of uniqueness as they portray a variety of famous Mathematicians. EDITORIAL A government is only as good as the people who build it. Elections are fast approaching, and as expected, politicians are already doing what they can to secure votes this early in the competition. And even if we had witnessed and participated in many elections long before, we still do not seem to know the answer to one most vital question – who do we vote for? Good leadership is not all about making speeches. Aside from being decisive, good presidents, or political leaders in general, let their actions do the talking. Instead of making excuses, they do everything they can to fix the problem, help the people, and serve the country. They also embrace criticisms. They are open-minded enough to understand that if used productively, criticism improves us. Criticisms will feel like an attack only if we are scared of taking responsibility for our actions. Aside from all these, what makes a great leader is someone who has a background in politics through education.
Although being a celebrity does not necessarily reflect how you approach things in order to serve the people, government positions should be reserved for those who have already established careers in politics.
Like being uncomfortable receiving medications from a person who is not a doctor, we should exercise caution in choosing the "right" people for a government position. There is already too much drama in the government, but not enough competence. This needs to change, and it should start with us and our choice of leaders. It takes a lot to be a great leader. Leadership is not about making speeches and being liked. It is defined not by attributes, but by results. The government is nothing but a reflection of our choices. An election merely opens a door of opportunity for a better chance. And only by voting wisely will we see these changes. So when we ask ourselves who to vote for, we would not have to guess. We’ll know. TMI

ERNA BONSUKAN
THE PALLID HUE OF THE SOCIAL NETWORK
OPINION
GESZHA CORTEZ CARTOON BY JUSTIN VILLANCA
Yes. We know. We know the social network is a dangerous place. But who cares, since we live in the digital era at present. We rely and depend on it so much. A lot of monsters of the 21st century are no longer in the physical world of society but are residing behind the dark screens of your devices. Staying undetected as possible, using proxy servers and encryption to add layers to mask their identity further. Perhaps the social network is not a dangerous place, what brings danger is people like these that are too cowardly to find an adequate job or get a life in the physical world, but are smart enough to commit crimes unbeknown to the authorities—at least for some of them. The digital world is not only a place for cybercriminals but also for people who outclass society. Those who are morally questionable with societal issues, but are followed and admired by many netizens almost for the wrong reasons. Yes, social media influencers. The so-called new “televangelists” of the 21st century. Some of them may not be the worst and most of them even get the job done, which is promoting a positive environment, empowering other people or battling political censorship, etc. Although, some of these influencers presumably do these things for personal gain.
Although the cancel culture can be helpful in some ways, many claim that the cancel culture itself is toxic. According to Vogue Britain, “The cancel culture is anonymous, fueled by a pack mentality, and intensely polarizing, ‘I am right, you are wrong.’. It teaches us that if someone does something wrong, or champions someone or something that we may not like or agree with, then we must stop supporting them immediately.”. As millennials and social media users, we can all attest that in every social media platform or every social networking site out there, there are and always will be existing different kinds of toxicity. Toxicity on these social networking sites is unquestionably inevitable but it is up to each one of us to choose the right people to follow, the right pictures to like, and the right videos to share. Therefore be self-aware, question the dominant paradigm, strive for something better, and stay aware.
The cancel culture is anonymous, fueled by a pack mentality, and intensely polarizing, ‘I am right, you are wrong.’.
Sabi nga ni Mahatma Ghandi, “Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization", ang kahulugan nito ay napaka makabuluhan na kaugnay sa pang araw-araw na buhay ng mga tao sa buong mundo.

"Ignorance is bliss," but staying ignorant to the prejudice happening in today's world is, at this point, stupidity. Crimes against humanity have become more apparent with the entrance of this pandemic. Explicitly displayed are which leaders are competent and which dictators are only after their selfish arrogations. Disagreeing with the ideals of the dictator can lead to an army of cronies sending threats, or in worse cases, death. To remain ignorant to this blatant harassment of human rights is a transgression that deserves its own consequences. Has the mention of merciless killings along with the rising number of condolences you say in a day numb you? Has it been easier to accept that death is imminent than addressing the systematic oppressions that lead to such cases? For anguish to not have crossed you in the past year is a miracle in and out of itself. Because how could it not when the entirety of our lives have forcibly pushed us to adapt to an unfamiliar world? Said anguish should be a natural response of our humanity, especially when shoved to our faces through phone screens are news after news of horrors that our fellow people suffer. One of these horrors is children coerced into being laborers to sustain the lives of their families. The responses of witnesses split into two. One side saying that the child working at an early age is "Ang totoong mulat sa reyalidad," and the other side voicing out the absurdity of this plight.

Some Filipinos' views have become so skewed to the point where misery is normalized and acceptable. Overworking culture, especially during the development age, should not be glorified but taken as a sign of a dysfunctional society governed by self-centered fools.

Another is an instance where there is a debate about who deserves the right to live or die. statistics—invaluable to those seated in the government. They only give priority and care to those who can pay a large sum of money, while those who can't are forgotten and set aside. A demand for change is due, considering the unfair treatment of the majority of Filipinos. However, it is near impossible to achieve this if a large percentage of the population believes that the status quo is worthy of contentment. Filipinos deserve better. Though it is of wonder how said Filipinos can scrutinize a pageant or daily person to the bone, but not have the ability to do the same to a political candidate that is supposed to provide better solutions to the impasses of the country. Perhaps this is because the upbringing of Filipinos from schools to the real world gave less to no knowledge about the qualifications of a true leader. The only qualifier that was easy to take note of was a candidate's popularity and fame. But this is changing as more Filipinos become educated and given guidance. There is hope. Ignorance is bliss, but at what point does it become intolerable and harmful to society? The stupidity caused by ignorance is shattering, in a way where it's hard to comprehend once exposed to the country's state. But stupidity can often be fragile and easily break under pressure. In other words, it's possible to start shattering stupidity.

s we ended our last school year unexpectedly, the Cobras still hoped that they could come back to school the way they used to. But, with too much risk to take, Southwestern University PHINMA decided to start the new school year – with a twist! “This year might be different and challenging, but with your continued support, understanding, and patience... we will be able to rise and become the best that we can be.” Mr. Patrick Salinas, the Principal for the SHS Department quoted his welcome message on the first-ever Virtual First Day Exposé, last September 14 of 2020, at 5 PM. The event was hosted by the duo; Weylan Millan and Dawn Mendoza, the Internal and External Vice Governor from our beloved Student Body Organization. We were also greeted by Angel Espiritu's lovely voice as we welcomed the new school year. With the theme, “Celebration of Differences Making Sense of Individuals” the SWU's School Body Organization decided to open and promote Gender Equality and avoiding Racism and Bullying as the school year started. Along with the game “Random Picture in a Box” the hosts came up with, a video presentation was also presented as a summary on how the Cobras spent their quarantine, these past few months, making the students enjoy the event the same way they would if it were held on the traditional faceto-face classes. Furthermore, the different organizations offered by the University were also presented by the hosts. We have the Math Guild, The Maroon Ink | Ang Tintang Marun has more than 20 gold medals and is currently one of the most celebrated school publications in the country. The campus also offers Performing Arts Club for those who can sing, act, dance, and for those who want to learn

And, of course, along with the organizations, the Senior High School's Faculty Teachers were also introduced, for the new students that enrolled in the University to be familiar. Merchandise from the SBO was also presented; jackets, tees, and even the trendy tote bags are open for everyone to purchase. With the earlier “Random Picture in a Box'' game mentioned earlier, the winner received a 20% discount on purchasing the SBO Merch. Upon ending the event, the hosts announced the Campus Crush winners that started last September 7th. Altheus Abellana and Mezam Darrie Calica won the award, capturing the hearts of the Cobras. Along with both of them, Harry Ian Tapere and Grecille Anne Mabulay were also granted the People's Choice Awards, for a lot of students also nominated them for the Campus Crush Contest. Finally, the event ended with Mrs. Roselyn Fortunado’s closing remarks. “Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.” speaker John Maxwell once said. As we face a different and challenging school year, let’s all hope for constant support and help from each other, for we are currently experiencing a big change in our lives. With the help of our faculty teachers, SBO officers, and the rapid advancement of technology, the first-ever Virtual First Day Exposé happened, welcoming everyone–with a twist. TMI.

hroughout the long months of bitter struggle due to pentup stress, anxiety, and depression, PHINMA Education decided to raise the morale to let us continue learning despite being in the clutches of the pandemic. PHINMA Education hosted a virtual concert, together with our favorite band Ben & Ben, on March 5, 2021, with #KasamaKoAngPHINMAEd for the night’s event. Together with our friends from Southwestern University, Araullo University, Cagayan De Oro College, University of Iloilo, Republican College, Saint Jude College, and Rizal College of Laguna, it's not an exaggeration to say that a nationwide online upheaval is about to begin. But that’s not all since PHINMA Ed and Smart Communications sponsored the event’s gifts and prizes with smart pocket wifi with load data credit, cellphones, and cash prizes to be awarded to the lucky winners. Iba talaga ang PHINMA Ed indeed. Company of Araullan Dancers, with their performance, called the shots showing both elegance and swag in their movements that incorporated their passion for

dancing. They danced to the songs Throw It Back, Pretty Boy Swag, Made for Now, The Next Episode, and Let’s Get Started for their dance intermission. After this would be the long-awaited virtual concert. By reading through the comment section, you could notice the excitement building up within the crowd. Sure enough, for the first part of the virtual concert, the band started with 2 of their hit songs Pagtingin and Araw-araw. Consisting of the twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Guico on acoustic guitars and vocals, Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussions, and Keifer Cabugao on the violin, they tugged at the heartstrings of the viewers. The adoration of the listeners to their songs is impossible to be masked, despite the barriers of community quarantine. Ben & Ben is indeed worthy of its fame that spreads far and wide. After a round of picture
taking and a short break, the concert soon resumed as Ben & Ben started singing Di Ka Sayang and Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay for the second part of the virtual concert. Time appeared to be faster as I enjoyed listening to the songs. The concert that lasted for more than 1 hour seemed fleeting as it was easy to be engrossed in their music. When the concert finally ended, I still couldn’t wrap my head around what had just happened. Respect welled up inside me for the music they created. I could also feel the admiration of the people towards the band when I read their comments. It isn’t bad to enjoy some leisure, especially one that evokes contentment. We still have miles of struggles, but I am sure that life has more amazing things in store for you. You may find it hard to cope with the swift changes currently happening right now, but know that you are not alone. You have never been. Take things slow and allow the troubled waters to calm down because you get stronger after the passing of each turbulent wave. You have your family, friends, and you also have PHINMA Ed. TMI.

rom The Juans, Ben & Ben, and now with Teacher Dan, virtual events hosted by PHINMA Education have tugged at our hearts and thawed our weary minds with a potent blend of cozy nostalgia and festive magic. Like a passing thought, days have gone so fast and now we are halfway through the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021. As the country faces the prospect of long unended quarantine restrictions, students need a recurrent injection of positivity more than ever as they spend the remaining days of the academic year virtually. On March 12, 2021, the Southwestern University’s Supreme Student Government, shared with us their happy hour with the phenomenal Elsa?! If you know who I’m talking about, then hurrah! With the event name, PHINMA After 5 with Dan Vibes, the event started streaming at 5:00 pm with the following exhilarating activities. PHINMA Education conducted a video vlogging contest with students spreading good vibes as content with prices Php 2,000.00, Php. 1,500.00 and Php. 500.00 from first to third place respectively.
They also conducted fun games with Php. 4,000.00 worth of load as prices. The game was divided into two waves. The first one was a Q&A, where the host asked five questions and the first four students who got it right received Php. 100.00 load. The chosen three finalists of the video contests were presented right after the announcement of the winners of the first game. In between the mentioned games, was Teacher Dan’s tutorial on how to sing “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka”. With the participation of the host, Mr. Jay Adrian Santos, and the SHS principal, Mr. Patrick Salinas, the audience as well as the teachers and the technical crews behind the camera witnessed how Teacher Dan evaluates the lines of a song and sings it entertainingly. We learned new terminologies as well as meanings to the drawings in the beginning, in between, and at the end of the lyrics. With approximately 12,000 views on Facebook and over 1,000 comments, the students have succumbed to the charms and entertainment power of Teacher Dan and filled their homes with waves of laughter. After that song was the second wave of the game, which was a Bring Me! The host mentioned five items that the students sent to the Supreme Student Government page and the first four students who sent it first received a 100-peso worth of load. After the
After the announcement of winners was Teacher Dan’s assessment song “Butsekik”. A Supreme Student Government member was invited to sing the CC or closing ceremony and enjoyed the rendition with Teacher Dan. The room filled with laughter once again as the event slowly came to an end. Teacher Dan announced the winners of the 30-second video contest with full determination and ended the virtual event successfully with a parting message, "Spread good vibes, despite what we are facing right now.". While other countries are healing, the number of positive cases in our country is drastically rising day by day. Regardless of the challenges that every individual is facing right now, especially us students who experienced radical changes in learning, we should not stop believing in a brighter future and the fact that we’re all going to survive and go through this. That’s why we should try to look for a positive thing every day. Even though it is hard to find sometimes. Spread positivity and good vibes and never let tough times ruin the person you are currently shaping into existence. Live it up and smile. TMI. THE MAROON INK

ATM.

NOSTALGIA Smells Like A Long Time Ago REISHI QUIBIDO
‘O
nce everything is back to how it was, will you be how you once were?’, a voice asked me as I awoke from another vivid dream. After months to a year of being stuck at home, will my first step outside be as good as before? After typing and incorporating habits of online life, will I still remember how to write and talk? It’s an understatement to say that some things have changed. A mask and a face shield are now a necessity. A purse now contains at least two bottles of rubbing alcohol and a sanitizer to boot. When a person coughs or sneezes, the reaction of those around them is a division between concern and fear. This pandemic has broken many plans and expectations. Things we took for granted are now a luxury for some. None of us would have prepared for the days where afterschool bonding would be a thing of the past; dining at a restaurant, shopping at the mall, and visiting a friend’s home used to be worry-free activities. This year has also brought time for introspection. Since the only way to experience the past is to reminisce and remember, I’ve encountered my tired soul more times than I can count.
Hours of free time seem to stretch themselves longer—and as it walks, my thoughts wander. I’m curious, how many moons have passed since I last interacted with a friend? My mind numbs itself and transports me to a White Space. I close my eyes until I’m no longer susceptible to loneliness. In here, I can replay the moments of a time where there were hands to hold and shoulders to hug. Most days, I fall asleep and stay inside a dream, where things are livelier than the dull and dry reality. My nightly dreams aren’t as mundane as submitting another activity sheet that I barely understood. In Dream World, the place beyond White Space, I am free to roam the world outside my door without consequences. The years before 2020 seem like an entirely different universe. And after each passing day, that universe leaps further beyond my reach. If it keeps slipping away, will I eventually forget the wind that used to touch my face under the shade of a certain tree? Will I lose the memory of the sounding crunch of junk food my friends and I bought from the canteen?
Time has never been so endless and limited at the same time. On one hand, I’m allowed to slow down and relax. On another, the pressure to hurry suffocates me. Time is inevitably running out, and this lockdown is eating a large chunk of it. I feel like I’m bending towards different directions, and after settling down to breathe, I relapse into a discord. I think back to the voice that awoke me. After all of this is done, will I still be how I once was? I close my eyes until I’m no longer susceptible to despair, and I learn how to persist. I drag myself into another chapter of this quarantine novel as I hope to go back to the world that once was. But perhaps, it’s already gone. The choice I have left is to escape towards the other end of this tunnel. The years before 2020 begin to blur, but I can still smell its faint scent of nostalgia. It reminds me of shallow puddles and rainwater lakes that form after a downpour and the sounds of idle chatter of an unsupervised classroom. Then, I see light.
‘Once this is all over, I’ll be changing along the world. Everything won’t be the same, because both the world and I will be different.’. TMI.

Art Beyond Colors By Ritchiele Monares
I've always thought that art was just a mere painting hanging on a wall or a beautifully written line— a splash of color or a bit of wordplay.
Art could be dazzling orbs that hold deep and dark secrets.
But when my eyes landed on yours, that's when I knew that art is more than just an aesthetically stroked shade or a fastidiously thought figurative language.
It could fit in between my arms, it could lay on my chest, and it could speak volumes about raw and genuine affection.
Art could be a wonderful catastrophe with a heart that beats the purest desires.
Is to be kind and loving!
And art has its own astonishing quirks.
Just then I've realized, art isn't always poetry and hue. Art could be a person and art could be you.

Raindrops By somaniate
Sick and tired while staring outside my window, Wondering how it started, this sorrow. For every raindrop falling, I could not tell its limitations, sadness, and farewell. A person gave this kind of feeling, Whom I trusted without hesitating. Yes, I know the time will end. The trust I gave, I know it'll bend from the wrong person. The wrong choice of person gives a pain so bad without a valid reason. Tap, tap, tap, light drops from the cold rain. Just like the person who gives so much pain. These regrets cloud over my chaotic head, As I lie sadly with three pillows on my bed.

Love somebody who is lovable, Not somebody who is only beautiful. For beauty will fade and wither, But being lovable stays forever. Love somebody who loves you back, Not somebody you love. Loving somebody who loves you back, is like finding a treasure trove. Keep on loving, keep on searching, For that somebody who is waiting. Never surrender, never falter Because everybody deserves a true lover.
Someone By Jeh Ramz
You're all the things I didn't know I could love. I didn't know I could love someone who can't order at McDo, someone who never brings their water bottle, and someone who steals snacks from my bag, but also someone willing to swap with my old tornout shoes just so I'm comfortable.
And someone I didn't expect to have.
Someone who walks me to my house even if it's miles away from theirs, Someone who randomly chooses a new hobby, Someone that makes card tricks exciting, Someone who patiently teaches me a Rubik’s cube.
You're my favorite someone to love.
You're this spontaneous but predictable lover. You're this annoying little demon who keeps me going. You're the person that I want to break but also keep and nurture.
Happiness For Me By Pretty Morpheus
Rays of sunlight woke me up. After a bath, I needed a cup, A cup of coffee that reminds me of last night's hug. I erased those thoughts as my music was plugged. I walked the busy streets with only him on my mind. Words of yours were the answers I should find. The melody made me stop and sob on my knees. The pain inside me, hoping to be truly free. Reminiscing last night was never true happiness. You left me hanging with lingering loneliness. The desire of desperation, seen through your eyes, Recalling such emptiness hollowed by your vivid lies. I arrived at my destination and through my work as a diversion. To stop me from crying, I keep myself busy. May my heart move on from the pain caused by thee. Heartaches would end in time and hopefully, euphoria will find me.

nline Classes? Online Shopping? Online Selling?
These are just some of the things that we usually do in our everyday lives. The pandemic drove life online. Almost entirely what we do daily happens online. The continuous effects rippling from the COVID-19 emergency include changes in the personal, social, and economic spheres. The sudden slide into passive technologization was indeed inevitable. In the complexity of the world that we are in, the well-being of the people is tested for a quick adaptation and diverse understanding of the changes that are constantly happening. Living in this new normal is tough, as well as how learning became one of the great challenges that both the teachers and students–even the parents face. After postponing the opening of online classes last August 24, DepEd made learning possible despite the circumstances through blended learning approaches after reaching more than 23 million enrollees. Blended learning is a combination of both online and offline learning methodologies with the use of technology. Online is when the students study with their teacher and co-learners through an application that uses a webcam
MAROON INK 30 THE S.Y. 2020-2021
while offline is when the teacher provides the learning material to the students with the lesson, seatwork, or assignment that they can finish at their own pace, within the deadline. All works are submitted and graded online. The COVID-19 has resulted in schools shut across the world. Globally, over 1.2 billion children are out of the classroom. As a result, education has changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. With this sudden shift away from the classroom in many parts of the globe, some are wondering whether the adoption of online learning will continue to persist post-pandemic, and how such a shift could be a major factor that would make a huge impact in worldwide education. Despite the sudden shift to online learning and given the technical difficulties that you may encounter throughout the school year, you still need to set a good example by radiating positivity amidst the negative energy around us. Creating a healthy and supportive environment with peers and family is also essential to be able to have a strong foundation in coping up and dealing with the things you have no control over. These times are direly draining but with the support system that we could build, we can surely survive this challenge. TMI.

Bakuna kontra COVID- 9, gaano ka epektibo? M

ATM. DEAR
From: Gerard Grande Q: Kanus-a diayng graduation? Salamat, period, no erase, totototototot.
Nang Marites,
A: Sana all, naay Grad Gift! Hahaha, many of us are waiting for the schedule as well, so we’ll have to see when we’ll get an official announcement from the school. That’s why we should stay at home first kay there’s a pandemic! Di sa manglaag until safe na jud!
From: Fly Marites Q: I have a concern about the graduation fee. Do they consider the situation we are having right now? Do they pay our internet bills for the virtual graduation? I think the most important things to pay for are the TOR, Form 137, and the graduation pictorial and yearbook. Alumni Fee is not that necessary since I'll be enrolling in a different school. I think they should reconsider the graduation fee because it's too much. We cannot afford the Php 3,720. Please hear the voices of the unfortunate. Di unta palabwan ang mga privileged. That would be all, thank you. A: Hello, Fly Marites! Your concerns are valid. We suggest raising your concern to the school by contacting them directly, either through their Facebook page or hotlines. However, we appreciate you for reaching out and voicing what most of us feel. We hope that through here, your thoughts about the graduation fee are amplified and heard by the school.
From: PrettySiRoss666 Q: KUAN, KANANG NALINGAW LANG GYUD KO KARONG YEAR BISAG DAGHA'G WALA NAATIMAN NGA MODULES UG PROJECTS, DI PAREHA LAST YEAR NGA BISA'G KOMPLETO IMONG IPANG-PASS KAY TAGAAN KA SIBINTIPAYB! CHAROS!
A: Lingaw nga kapoy, sa? Char, pero bitaw, it’s better with the face-to-face classes gyud. Mingaw baya, nindot nasad kaayo makig mingle og lain tao, but all we can do for now is stay safe at home. Still, thankful gihapon ta that we are still alive and healthy. We should also pray for our front-liners who are risking their lives for us. Good luck nato tanan next year, and hopefully, all will be well!
Catfish Ink
Dear Nang Marites, This year was such a rollercoaster. I went from getting accepted to this publication, having high marks and earning a high honor badge, being at my lowest than I have ever been, failing subjects, rising again by having the will to do activities again, and lastly, having to lie low. The time I spent doing activities and unending PTs were exhausting, but as I lie here in my bed—wearing my pajamas for two days straight already, I kind of miss waking up at 7:30 A.M and showering early so I won’t get drowsy all day waiting for my classes to pop up on Google Classroom.
Awwwe, hi! This school year was pretty tough, wasn’t it? But know that breakdowns and breakthroughs go hand-in-hand. I miss going to school too, with the face-to-face set up, I mean. Haysss, truly, a lot has changed since COVID-19 arrived. But keep going Catfish Ink and I hope you are physically and mentally fine!
Kauyabon rako usahay nya usahay dili. Normal paba na? A: Blythe, that’s totally normal! I feel that way too. Sometimes, I yearn for a partner, only to change my mind an hour later. So I totally get you! Just like seasons, feelings change.
