FACADE DETAILS The facade of Utrecht Libaray is covered by glass windows. There are two types of windows both covered by a banboo pattened shading material. One type of the window is inoperateable-dubble layers glass window, which allows light into the atrium and block redundent sunlight. The other typy is the operatable window, which is always shown on individual reading rooms.

THESIS The facade of Utrecht The idea is to sepereat the building into three parts to line up with its context porpotionally. The zigzag shap on facade is trying to create circulations. The main program is intersected in the middle of each tower.
