EXERCISE 1.1
In this exercise, an architecture verb was given to each student. These four study models are usting "interlock" to create space and ddfine a 4 1/2" cube. Three elements are involved in this operation: line, plane, and volume.
EXERCISE 1.2
STUDY MODELS
By using the grammar created in exercise 1.1, I started to make models follow my own language. The conbinatione of different elements and further define clear spaces are shown by these studies.

EXERCISE 2.1
Measureing the building by our bodies, we understood the relationship between human scale and architecture scale. Each of our group member draw a different perspective that can eventually form a completed spacial sequences. Thourgh this exercise, I learned the importance of a contiuned circulataion.
EXERCISE 2.2
Contiuned with the vreb "interlock", we need to build an architecture that has a decided view and combined with a 18*18" site. Learning, yet different from my former models, I unlock a part of the cube to interlock it with the site. The view decided by me is a lake that carved into the site. People can enter through a hiden entrance beside the lake and go to upper level by a ramp carved in the site.

III. FORM AND FUNCTION
PRIVATE/PUBLIC + CIRCULATION + GEOMETRY
The house of Rochofsky is a modenlism house that designed both for gallery and recience. It has a clear relationship with its site since there are some art works a for outdoor exhibition.
THE ROCHOFSKY HOUSE
ANALYTICAL DRAWNG I analyise this building mealy through it circulation from the exterior to interior space. The view changes form block to open, and the matieral changes through solid to glass through the circulation.

DIFFERENT WAYS TO ORGNIAZE THE SPACE
To start with the final model, I make different study models to understand the posible orgnaizations of the three functions. I choose to seperate all three functions of the house to make every space clear. Contiuning with is idea, I choose a opreation that could help my design, which is shift.
FURTHER EXPLORATION + DRAWING
Two circulations are provided in the model. The public one faces south and is easy to see. The frame structure is always connected and form the blcony on the upper floor. The house has strong greomtry connection with its site. The mean volumes of the model are formed by shift, and a secondary shift is also shown.
SECTION
In the sectional model, the stair that connect the studio and gallery is shown. The strcture of the model can be seen beneath the roof.
