y Current Status of CCS CCS presently has 52 member corporations representing the leading benchmark firms in all of Taiwan’s industries. CCS provides a hub platform integrating governmental sustainable development policies and corporate sustainability. CCS also sees our mission as serving as a foundational resource to promote corporate sustainability education and research to cultivate professional manpower, assiduously conducting diverse activities and training, while also helping corporations create customized consulting or project management. CCS enjoys excellent social influence and aspires to serve as a critical force to enhance Taiwan’s corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility dimensions while deploying the latest international trends.
The Overall Revenue from CCS Members Representing Over 50% of Taiwan GDP In 2016 our members total annual operating income exceeded NT$8.8 trillion, or more than half of Taiwan’s 2016 GDP.
Coalition of Benchmark Enterprises in Taiwan In the Third Annual Corporate Governance Evaluation, beside 16 over-the-counter traded firms and publicly-owned enterprises, all other CCS members were among the Top 50% evaluated, and 16 CCS members were selected among the top 5% of listed companies. In 2017, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) included 18 Taiwan firms, of which 14 were CCS members, and in the 2017 CDP altogether 24 members were recognized, for a remarkable performance.
Our Performance Since its establishment on July 29th, 2015, CCS has hosted 370 events and activities, with total participants numbering 26,837 as of March 31st, 2018 CEO Forum

Dr. Eugene Chien Radio Shows and TV Interviews Since 2008, CCS President Dr. Eugene Chien has produced and moderated weekly for nine years running the series “ECO-Report”, as well as having numerous television and magazine interviews and delivering lectures, designed to enhance knowledge of sustainability concepts among Taiwan’s populace and jointly contribute to creating a sustainable society.
2017 TCSA Summit PwC Netherlands Sustainability and Climate Change Department Partner Mr. Hans Schoolderman, EY Greater China Market COO Brian Ho and Deloitte Hong Kong Vice Chair Chieh-Chung Weng, were invited to deliver lectures at the 2017 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Summit focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the green economy, regional business opportunities and risk responsiveness, as well as other issues relating to corporate sustainable development.
