Akira is a dolphin. She is eleven years old. She's small and has small eyes. She is nice, funny and very smart. She's from England, but she lives in the Balearic Islands. She loves swimming and jumping. She likes sardines, but she doesn't like meat. Her favorite hobby is doing sport because she's very sporty. She has a dad, a mum and one sister. She loves them very much. She has many friends. Every day, she goes fetching food in the sea. She can swim and jump and she plays with her friends who jumps the highest, but she can't fly. She comes to the English day in Sant Just because she wants to meet people and make new friends.

CHAPTER 1
Every summer two friends meet at the beach: Akira and Elvis. Akira is a nice, smart dolphin, she is 11 years old and she likes surfing and extreme water sports. Elvis, the flying mailbox, likes singing and dancing like Elvis Presley. He was born in the USA but he lives in England. He travels around the world using his wings.
Pete goes to the same beach as Akira and Elvis. He is a very special person. He likes break dance, and he is usually a serious person. He always wears a bowler hat, a monocle and a suit. He has a big elegant moustache and smokes a pipe. These good friends also meet Maki, the 12 year old cactus. She is very good at basketball and likes cinema and going to pop concerts. Every year there is a surfing competition at the beach. Akira always wins. But this summer things can be different: The new judge for the competition is Shoot, a Catalan eagle who lives in the UK. With his eagle eyes, he can see if the participants cheat. Shoot has a secret that nobody knows except Pete.
Will this secret affect the competition? What can happen to Akira and her friends?

CHAPTER 2
A day before the competition, Shoot and Pete reunited again. They were talking about their mysterious secret about the surfing competition, and Maki saw them and she suspected a little. She was wondering about the things she had heard in their conversation. She thought it would be better if she didn’t say anything to anyone. Finally, the day of the competition arrived. Akira prepared the competition very good, because she wanted to win another consecutive time for five years. Sincerely, she surfs really nice and her moves are pretty awesome. When the referee blew the whistle, Akira dived into the cold water and jumped over the waves, she was the first to start surfing, all the others were behind her. Akira saw that Pete didn’t begin surfing yet, so he was ahead to win. Immediately, Pete overtook really fast, and Pete won.

Akira was upset, because she had always won in this competition. And she got mad and she left without giving her friends any explanation.
Maki told Elvis what she heard yesterday in the conversation. And she suspected about something weird, so they started investigating...

CHAPTER 3
Maki had recorded the conversation between Pete and Shoot with her mobile phone. She showed the video to Elvis and they watched it carefully. They didn’t discover Shoot's secret but Elvis found a clue in the video: Shoot gave a mysterious small bottle to Pete and he put it in his pocket. Then they called Akira. She was still crying on the beach. Maki told Akira about what they had found out in the video. Akira said that she had also suspected because Pete was very nervous and excited before the competition. They decided to meet later in Akira’s house to talk about it. When they were in Akira’s house Elvis and Maki told Akira about the mysterious small bottle and Akira was surprised because she had seen Pete taking out something strange from a small bottle when they were getting ready in the locker room. They didn’t know what was inside the bottle but they knew it was something bad.
Suddenly Akira remembered Elphy, her elephant friend, who was a very good detective. The three friends decided to send him an email attaching the video.
Two hours later they received a message from Elphy. Akira opened the message and she read it:
“ Dear Akira, I have read your message and I have watched the video. I must tell you that I already know Pete and Shoot. They are well-known for us. Two years ago we investigated them in a race competition. Pete surprisingly won and Shoot was the judge. We didn’t find anything then but the bottle that appears in your video looks like the one Pete used during that race. Tell me your address. CHAPTER 4
Akira and her friends were very happy to know that Elphy was coming. They were afraid that the bottle that Pete had in his pocket contained a magic potion....or even a dangerous poison. She wrote Elphy back: “Hi Elphy, thanks for your info. Please come to my house tomorrow at 5 o' clock. We`ll be waiting for you. We need you !! Kind regards, Akira“
When Elphy arrived at Akira's home, he showed them de potion he had analysed and explained all that had happened with a mysterious voice:
“I have been investigating and found out that Pete and Shoot have an agreement: If Shoot gives Pete the composition of the magic potion, he will receive 1.000 € in payment. The recipe contains unicorn hair, the nails of the toe an old witch, and snail saliva....all mixed with Red Bull. This potion will make Pete feel stronger, swim faster and become unbeatable. The only side effect is that he could get completely bald in a few minutes.”
Akira decided to call the police and show them the evidence of Pete and Shoot's fraud. Akira: “Hello, good afternoon, is this the Police Station?” Police officer :”Yes miss, this is the Police, how can I help you?” Akira: “I want to report a trick in the surf competition. Pete and Shoot have been cheating and are planning to do it again. This is really very serious. Please come to my house and we will explain you everything” Police officer: “We're coming right now !!”
Akira explained the police officer the story of Pete and Shoot. Elphy gave him all the details. After listening carefully, the officer decided to go to Pete's house and arrest him. They took Pete to the Police Station to question him. Akira knew Pete would not win the competition dishonestly anymore. She was happy and was sure that Pete must be furious..... But, what Akira and his friends didn't know was that Pete and Shoot had a new plan...and that at the moment Akira was celebrating with his friends, Pete was laughing mischievously and holding a little red wooden box as he whispered “revenge!!” And, where was Shoot in the meantime?

CHAPTER 5
After Pete was released with no charges, he gave Akira the box. For her surprise, there was a cupcake and a card! Happily she ate the cupcake, but... it was poisoned! Akira suddenly felt dizzy, but she didn’t pay much attention. After Pete’s release, they decided to redo the competition. In the competition, everyone was excited, especially Akira, but suddenly she started feeling very dizzy and fell off the board, Pete won again. After the victory, Pete invited everyone to coffee, and guess what, the coffee had some memory-loss potion in it. They forgot everything about Pete’s crimes.
After a few years, Pete had won all the competitions, but Akira, after so many poisoned cupcakes, almost died. They searched for clues, and finally found Peter guilty. Akira was taken to the hospital and given several medicines, and finally she remembered everything. After Akira remembered everything about Pete’s crimes, he was sentenced to death! But the day before his death, he suddenly had a heart attack! After the case was closed and resolved... Shoot appeared with a strange scar...
