INTRODUCTION Talk Talk English is a highly successful ESL school based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Over the last seven years we have pioneered new teaching methods and we have written our own professional textbook series. We specialize in teaching our students, in small classes, to speak English with confidence. We have an effective and enjoyable curriculum supported by interesting and colourful materials. Our students have free access to our online vocabulary learning system. We are confident that students in other countries would benefit from our modern approach.

TEACHING METHOD We have combined the advantages of the direct method (with a high level of student-teacher interaction) with easy to understand grammar explanations, and exercises to develop our students’ ability to ask, as well as answer, questions. Our workbooks and audio companions help to reinforce our classroom work.
HAPPIER STUDENTS When we introduced our first edition textbooks in 2008, student survey scores improved. We saw a further improvement in scores when we launched our second edition textbooks. The quality of our learning materials has made an important contribution to overall student satisfaction.
HIGHER TEACHER RETENTION Once a teacher has become familiar with our curriculum, the teacher is no longer burdened with excessive lesson preparation. This means the teacher can put more energy into classroom work. Because our materials offer a variety of learning activities and easy to understand grammar, class time is more fun and more rewarding.
MODERN LEARNING MATERIALS Our textbooks have been developed and written by Patrick Kennedy (BA Hons, TESOL, DELTA), our highly experienced Education Director. The textbooks cover 10 stages from Elementary to Upper Intermediate. They are ideally suited to smaller classes and encourage a high level of student-teacher interaction. The textbooks series are supported by workbooks and audio companions. Our learning materials can be supplied to you, or can be printed locally under license.

Our Training Director, Hutch Butler, has developed a comprehensive guide to help our teaching staff to deliver more effective lessons. These guidelines are available to our partner schools.

INCREASED PROFITS Since launching our new textbooks, we have increased student retention, and improved student survey scores. We are convinced that our materials have made a major contribution to our bottom line, and to our reputation.
GRADED READERS Working together with our publishing division, Hippo Books, we are publishing a range of graded readers to help students develop their reading and comprehension skills. These books are available online or can be printed locally under license.
ONLINE VOCABULARY LEARNING In 2013, we launched a multi-lingual vocabulary learning system to help our students learn their textbook vocabulary. Our online vocabulary can be made available to your students either on our website or a website we can construct for your school. Login to www.talktalkenglish.com and review our system.
TEACHER TRAINING At our language centre, we regularly observe our teachers and follow up with individual and group training sessions. Our investment in training has helped us to further improve the quality of our lessons. Our Education Director and our Training Director are available for consultation on the best way to deliver teacher training.
