The Talk Talk English language centre was established in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, in 2007 by Trevor Syrad (BA Hons, TEFL, BPS) and Amarsanaa Chimeddorj (BA, MA).
2008 Patrick Kennedy (BA Hons, TESOL, DELTA) joined the management team as the Education Director in 2008. During that year, Patrick wrote a series of 10 textbooks. The new materials laid the foundation for our future success.
2011 In 2011, based on extensive development work and feedback from our teaching team, we launched our second edition textbook series.
The new series, with translations, audio companions and workbooks further advanced our market position.
Also in 2011, we launched our online vocabulary system allowing our students to learn their textbook vocabulary using advanced learning technologies.
2012 We provided scholarships to Mongolian Paralympians. We continue to support physically handicapped people as part of our social responsibility programme.
In 2012, we launched our summer programme for teenagers.
Also in 2012, we were contracted to teach English at Olonlog, a private High School in Ulaanbaatar.
2013 In 2013, we launched our publishing division, Hippo Books. To date, we have published 20 original graded readers (reading books written specifically for English language students). We are currently publishing two new titles every month.
Also In 2013, we introduced our Business English with Market Leader courses.
2014 In 2014, we developed a series of 20 High School textbooks and successfully introduced the new textbooks to our students at Olonlog High School.

During 2014, we developed a comprehensive teaching guide based on our experiences teaching our curriculum over the previous three years.

2015 In 2015, we have been invited by the Minister of Education to begin a pilot programme to develop ESL teaching in three high schools in Ulaanbaatar. We will manage the teaching of 400 students and provide training for 30 Mongolian ESL teachers.
ENGLISH LESSONS By Summer 2015, we had delivered over 100,000 lessons to over 25,000 students.
By June 2015 page views on our multi-lingual online vocabulary system (www.talktalkenglish.com) had reached 3.5 million (since its launch in 2013).
Right now, we are actively planning to expand into Europe and to develop our online learning systems.
