15th National Selection Conference of EYP Turkey 03-07 April 2014
CALL FOR OFFICIALS Dear EYP Alumni, The 15th National Selection Conference of EYP Turkey will be held between the 3rd and 7th of April, 2014. Around 120 delegates from all over Turkey will come together at Kabataş High School, one of the most renowned historical schools of İstanbul, to experience EYP and take part in a five day packed programme. EYP Turkey is now delighted to launch the call for Officials and looking for 2-3 Vice-Presidents, 12 Chairpersons, 3 Jury Members 1-2 Editors, 1-2 Video-Editors and 10 Journalists . The theme "Beyond Limits, Without Boundaries" aims to draw attention to one of Europe's most pressing matters: Disability and Disabled People In the Society. Alarmed by the lack of attempts to raise awareness about the issue,15th NSC of EYP Turkey aims to contribute to the cause by organizing various theme-related events throughout the session. There is no participation fee for Turkish or international officials. However, travel costs to and from the session must be covered by the participants. Also, please note that all officials will be asked to arrive by the morning of Thursday, April 3rd the latest to take part in the Officials’ Training. Departures can start from the morning of Tuesday, April 8th onward. All those who are available and interested should follow the instructions in the attached application form and submit their applications to applications@eypturkey.org. The deadline for all applications is Friday, February 28th. Late applications will not be accepted. The selection will begin once the application deadline is over. The Selection Panel for Vice-Presidents, Chairpersons and Editors will consist of the President of the Session (Mr Gustaf Danielsson), one of the Head Organisers of the Session (Mr Onur Can Uçarer), the Vice-President of EYP Turkey (Mr Berkok Yüksel) and a Member of the Board EYP Turkey (Mr Osman Arda Sezer). The Selection Panel for Journalists will consist of the Editors of the Session (to be selected), one of the Head Organisers of the Session (Mr Tamer Özgen), the President of EYP Turkey (Mr Erdem Osman Topçu) and a Member of the Board of EYP Turkey (Mr Barış Can Kaştaş).
