After months of waiting in anticipation, I finally saw my favourite music group in the flesh – Swedish electronic band Little Dragon touched down in South Africa over the past weekend, performing in Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively. Saturday 17 October was a true feast for the ears and eyes as Yukimi, Erik, Fredrik and Håkan rocked Jozi with their dreamy, rhythmical, shifting, moody rainbow sounds as they like to call it. Although fighting off frenzied fans around me while trying to stay right up front by the stage was quite annoying, I loved every second of Little Dragon’s performance. Sounding just as they do on their records, Little Dragon is infectious in every way. Feeling slightly down at this stage because it’s all over now, at least I have their fifth album to look forward to in the near future. We love you Little Dragon!

they want and the services will just have to clean up after them instead of cultivating a culture of cleanliness and tidiness in their daily lives and not leaving it to the services to do it for them – as is the case with the dumping issue along Kliprivier Drive going into Booysens. This has been done on numerous occasions, yet the refuse is still dumped as soon as the services leave the area. What does the ward councillor have to say about this? I rest my case.

EDITOR’S RESPONSE:

Hi Neville, Kliprivier Drive has long been a hotspot for dumping and littering. I have passed your letter on to the councillor.
