Our family’s 1968 orange tandem bike came from a Midwest farm to our small beach town and sums up all that we love about where we live. Its basket has carried veggies from our farmers’ market, towels for the beach, and picnic dinners to the park. It’s about slowing down and exploring and celebrating what we find, whether it’s where we live or where life takes us. As Tandem For Two has grown, our tandem bike has become a great symbol of how we ride in this life together. I want to live a #tandembike life. Sometimes I need to pedal harder and let someone else coast because they need the rest. Or I get extra strength from someone because I need it for the rough road I am on. We aren’t in this life alone and I want to lean on others and be leaned on. In this little business of mine, I lean and rely on a lot of people. I wouldn’t be doing what I am today without the help of others. I have realized that part of celebrating where we live is making the products in our communities and involving others on this journey. This one woman, part-time business has grown from sewing pillows at my kitchen counter into a full crew. I love working with people that need experience, income, or flexibility and are able to put their talents to a purpose. We are single and stay-at-home parents, retirees, the underemployed, and students who need first time job experience. I also partner with other small, local businesses that employ even more individuals and refugees where we live. As every year, 10% of our profits are given back to our communities - particularly those communities torn apart by natural disasters, refugees fleeing from their communities or those living without a place to call home. Tandem For Two is not only a creative outlet for individuals, and a champion of our communities, but also provides an avenue to celebrate the everyday activities of where we live with handcrafted products that we take pride in creating.

ORDERS Please contact us to request a line sheet and order form. Credit info will be requested at that time. A copy of your current, valid reseller permit must be on file with us prior to your account approval. Orders can be placed over the phone, email, or fax. Initial opening orders have a minimum of $300 and reorders have no minimum amount, just quantity minimums as stated with each product and in the summary table on page 19 of this catalog. PAYMENT PayPal, credit card, or corporate check are accepted. First orders must be prepaid prior to shipment. Repeat customer orders are net 30 days upon approval of a credit application and will be invoiced at time of shipment. SHIPPING & TURNAROUND TIME Shipping will be quoted per delivery location and included on the invoice. Our preferred carrier is UPS Ground, but we do use Fed Ex and USPS Priority as well. Items are custom made upon ordering, so the typical turnaround times are 2 -3 weeks, not including shipping time. First time orders for new custom designs need an additional 4 weeks for the research, design, and approval process. BACKORDERS All items are handmade to order, but occasionally raw materials are backordered. You will be notified of any products that will be delayed and all other items from your order will be shipped. Once items are produced, we will ship immediately, unless notified otherwise. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS Any changes or cancellations to your order must be made via phone or email within 24 hours of placing your order. Exchanges are not accepted at this time. We inspect and take care to package all of our items for shipment, but sometimes damages occur. We will gladly refund or replace any items damaged or lost in shipment on claims made within 5 business days of receipt. We may ask for a photo of damaged items for insurance purposes. ZIP CODE PROTECTION We understand your desire to have unique and exclusive products and we will be happy to honor exclusivity of our products for retailers who have a storefront and purchase a minimum of $250/quarter or $1000 or more annually. If this minimum isn’t met, zip code protection will be waived and other businesses within the zip code will be eligible to carry our products. CUSTOM DESIGNS We love to create custom designs that celebrate the uniqueness of your community or state. Whether it’s a custom color palette for fabrics or a new design idea, we are happy to work with you. We occasionally can recreate your own designs on products without our branding as a service to you as well. MERCHANDISING MATERIALS We are happy to provide POP signage, professional merchandise photos for print or web, and help with your displays. Please let us know how we can help! All designs, illustrations, and other images that I have created are protected from misappropriation, misuse, and unauthorized use by copyright law and international laws. Buyer is not entitled to reproduction rights and the copyrights are not transferable with product sales.
