I was using Viar Live.com to process the renderings for 360° photos. Then, the 360° photos could be viewed with headsets/cellphones/tablets/desktop.

The thought behind the image was to create cozy, bright space for residents to relax. The furniture was placed as such to extend the view to the space far away.

Adding a few people in the image showed how the space could be used. The photographer was placed next to the window to imply great view.

As the concept of the tower was from the art museum next to it, some artisitc interior design was adopted. And for rendering, I tried to address the harmony between the space and the arts.

The sky bridge created a special moment and made it possible for a breath-taking experience, so I focused on the natural lighting and the implication of great view.

The residential lobby featured the art piece designed by Kengo Kuma, so I showed how the art piece relates to the lobby space and how it could add energy to the entrance.

The idea behind the image was to show simplicity and brightness, every object/color in the image should work together.

Central Park Effect The diagram above shows that Central Parking in Manhattan would greatly increase the rent of the surrounding real estates, and the closer to the park, the higher rent for the property. Our design is based on the similar theory that by creating an iconic vertical park, the value of the surrounding land and real estate can greatly increase, thus bringing more value to the community than a conventional project.

Interior Rendering The rendering on the left highlights the experience in the vertical park. As shown, the design addresses the integration of natural system and organic architecture, so that it blurs the boundary between design and plants. To produce the image, I used Maxwell to render the Maya model and then spent some time in Photoshop adding plants. The idea behind the image is to make it a hybrid of nature and architecture.

Physical Model I was the main person for the physical model, and I made the 3-feet-tall model with 3D printing. By lighting up the model from behind, I was able to show the complex organic geometry as shown on the right.
