enny Orrison brings a unique blend of passion, dedication, and creativity to the world of real estate. An associate broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Taos Real Estate, Orrison approaches real estate through the lens of emotional intelligence. As an empath, she takes the journey of home buying and home selling with you.

“Since I went through the process of home selling and home buying just several years ago, I know it can be a very emotional process. And I think if you can find a realtor who actually cares, and it doesn’t feel just transactional, but it feels like they really actually care about you, and they go through the roller coaster with you, and they’re available to talk to you and comfort you and support you–I think it can make all the difference,” says Orrison.”

Living conveniently on Blueberry Hill where she’s central to showing in Arroyo Hondo, Ranchos de Taos, the Greater World Earthship Community, and Taos Ski Valley. Orrison is originally a native New Englander, growing up near Worcester, Massachusetts, She went to college in Burlington, Vermont, studying graphic design and multimedia. Mexico, they decided to take a chance in Taos.

“My neighborhood has become my community. There really is a community for everyone here in Taos.”

She doesn’t have deep roots in Taos yet, but she brings time, energy, and an unwavering commitment to her profession. “I’m not pulled in a million directions. So really, my focuses are my husband and my dog and my career and my family,” says Orrison.

Currently she’s working with a couple who are long time born-and-raised residents who are finally able to buy their first home in Lower los Colonias.

“They’re super-selfless people who are actually raising their grandchildren. And it’s been a lifelong dream of theirs to own their first home. We’re under contract, and we’re moving forward and ready to go for them,” Orrison said.

I encourage clients to interview other realtors to find the right fit because the journey will have highs and lows, and it’s crucial to feel supported. If at any point I’m not meeting expectations, I welcome honest feedback and, if necessary, a parting of ways. I believe in working with people who want to work with me, and I’m committed to making the process as smooth, exciting, and positive as possible.
