PROJECT STATEMENT
To protect and preserve existing natural landscape and biodiversity.
This site was the Department of Defence ammunitions factory and storage facility place with contaminated soil. Its 128 hectare land is semiclosed by Marybyrnong River, and sits between CBD and airport with rich heritage and preserved natural environment. By analysing the existing conditions, we designed our project 'NEAR' that is a large ecological resort complex brimming with a natural landscape, entertainment facilities, appreciation of heritage and residential towns.
