In the past five years, our College of Education has produced 1,200+ educators through our teacher education programs. Tarleton’s Educator Preparation Program received state recognition for preparing students seeking Bilingual/ English as a second language. Psychology and elementary education are highly sought-after programs with substantial research funding. Our teacher preparation model will allow you hands-on experience from your first semester.

MAYFIELD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Experience hands-on learning and research in our 98,000 square feet engineering building with 16 teaching labs. The Mayfield College of Engineering is nationally recognized and is 1,400 students strong. Engineering technology and construction science students start their practical experience from day one, utilizing 3D printers in the prototyping lab.

COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

In the School of Nursing, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fully functioning ICU and mock hospital, using highfidelity mannequins. In the School of Kinesiology, you'll have access to state-of-the-art labs, including 3D cadavers and MRI tables. Plus, you'll earn 300 hours of real work experience before graduating, setting you up for success in the workforce.
