Cloudy2Clear Windows – Service With A Smile!
It’s been a crazy few months for Cloudy2Clear Windows. The company which specialises in repairing windows which are steamed up, broken or damaged by replacing the panes – not the frames has grown rapidly as homeowners take advantage of their services. Managing Director Alan Ball feels that it’s all about service. ‘Our product is simple. If your double glazing is misted up we can replace the glass at a fraction of the cost of a new window, in any type of frame, and with a new 5 year guarantee. But it’s not just about saving
people money, although that obviously helps. Many tradespeople have struggled since last year and I honestly feel that during the good times a minority perhaps didn’t focus on customer care as much as they should have done. We make sure we turn up when we say we will, do the job the customer requires and leave their house as clean as a whistle. I often get comments back from customers on how they really didn’t expect that sort of service which, in a way, is very sad for the service industry as a whole.’ Cloudy2Clear service the Great Sutton and Little Sutton areas &
Alan is finding that his approach is a major factor in his success. ‘The truth is that it’s not just the personal satisfaction that I get from doing a good job but also it makes good business sense. I get a huge amount of business from friends
and family of people I’ve done work for, which just goes to show how much a little bit of effort is appreciated.’ So, if your windows are steamed up, broken or damaged give Alan a call for a free quotation on 0800 61 21 118 and he’ll be happy to help!

There are something like 600,000 signals that travel from the brain into the body every second and these in turn come back to the brain with information which is then interpreted and sent back out. In the case of the Bowen move, the brain is unable to do this instantly and needs more information to form a response. As it is, just when the brain is asking for more info, the therapist has left the room, and therefore the brain has to send specific signals to the area in order to gauge a response. Most sports or work-related problems can often be dealt with within the two or three treatments, making Bowen not only good remedial treatment, but cost effective for the client as well.

Clients have reported significant improvements with asthma, migraines, irritable bowel, infertility and other reproductive problems. Even hayfever has been brought to Bowen. There are no such things in this life as guarantees and this can be said of Bowen as well. If the body responds to the treatment, then it can and will start the process of repair. If it doesn’t respond, then no harm is done. PLEASE NOTE: The Bowen Technique is not a substitute for medical treatment. Dave commented “We recognised Irby as a great place to stay and grow in, we like the space we are in. you can easily upgrade your existing loo. They all include an oscillating shower with forward and backwards movement, air purification and a warm air dryer.
The Geberit AquaClean range is comfortable and stylish too. And with a model to suit every style of home, it would make a perfect addition to your new spa-like bathroom.
A You don’t have to spend a vast amount of money to purchase a Geberit toilet. There are also less expensive models in the range such as the Geberit AquaClean 4000. This compact loo seat is designed to replace your existing loo seat and is straightforward to install, as it fits on the existing seat.
Q Should I be concerned about how much water is used in spray-function toilets?
A The Geberit AquaClean 4000 only uses 400ml of water at each use, and although this is more than a normal loo, there are positive environmental aspects to this choice, such as using less toilet paper. Water, chemicals and other raw materials are wasted in the production of toilet paper, and while it’s biodegradable, the process still leaves chemical traces in our water supply.

Hayley’s health and fitness
Health and Fitness blog
‘I exercise and still don’t lose weight... what’s the point!’ I often hear of people attending the gym, eating healthier and still not losing weight, many then think the task of being healthier and slimmer is near impossible and therefore last only a few months and give up! Read below to see where you might be going wrong and what can be done to break this cycle. Let’s do this simply... eat less, exercise more! If you want to lose weight you have to burn off more than what you’re consuming in calories. If you want to maintain the same weight you need to burn off the equal amount in calories as to what you consume. If you want to gain weight you eat more than what you burn off. So if it’s that simple why can’t people achieve this. The three main causes are; 1. Hidden calories
Start writing down everything you eat, I mean everything. Use a calorie counter book or app to keep a tab of the calories you consume. This includes sugar in drinks, wine, gravy, sauces. Things that you don’t even think about have extra calories in, you’ll soon see where those extra few hundred calories are coming from.
2. Not exerting yourself enough at the gym
I say it over and over again to lose weight you need to be pushing yourself beyond your capabilities. Walking for half an hour is better than nothing but have a look at how many calories you actually burn in this time, chances are it’s probably not worth your time. Find something you enjoy doing that’s higher intensity, classes are a great way of pushing yourself and ensuring you keep going for the duration.
3. Skipping meals People think by skipping meals it will help them lose weight as they aren’t consuming as many calories. Wrong! Skipping meals especially breakfast causes the body to store the food you do consume as fat! Eat little and often, have breakfast within ½ hour of getting up, a healthy snack mid morning, lunch around 1.30, an afternoon snack around 3.30 and ensure your evening meal is before 7. Starving your body only results in gain and low blood sugar levels which can lead to type two diabetes. Lastly if you ask yourself the question how much effort am I actually putting in. If you want the results, you need determination, commitment and some will power. Meals out, birthdays, Xmas, Parties are NOT a reason to over indulge. Neither is the common quote “The diet starts on Monday”.
If you have a bad day you get back to the next day, you do not wait until a new week starts. All this is doing is undoing any good work you may have done the start of the week. Weight loss comes with effort, no one does it for you! Book a holiday, plan a special event and look ahead for something to give you the drive that you need. But be mindful how quick it is to gain weight, it’s easy eating that chocolate bar it’s not so easy burning it back off!

live, work and visit. Both the competition and the calendar will highlight the great things happening in the town. All entries of last year’s photo competition were printed and exhibited at Trinity, with the five winners and five runners up displayed in large frames, first at the Paperboat Gallery, and later at The Port Arcades shopping centre. The Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Lynn Clare said: “This competition will show what Ellesmere Port has to offer, as well as making sure that the winning pictures will be displayed in homes and businesses and not only that but raise funds for a charity very close to my heart. What could be better? “Twelve photos will be chosen and the charity calendar goes on sale in December.
