Thank you First off, we wanted to formally thank you for selecting Interlude to launch your company. This is not a responsibility we take lightly. We understand the importance of aligning your brand with the right PR company, the right event, and the right kind of people. ABOUT INTERLUDE

There’s something exciting about being between places. While familiarity is something we all desire, it is the unknown that drives us as a company. If one has ever been to a play or a show, they have experienced the thrill of what is yet to come. This space between part one and part two of said show, the intermission, is also known as the interlude. This lapse in time can be defined as, “temporary amusement or source of entertainment that contrasts with what goes before or after.� This amusement is what lead us to the creation of Interlude, a leading PR and events company founded by Taryn Ford. Valuing creativity, innovation, and originality, Interlude strives to be the best platform for brands to launch their ideas. Interlude creates classic, innovative events that launch products, brands, and various ideas into motion in the New York City area. By aligning with brands who share similar values and aesthetics, Interlude aims to assist brands of all magnitudes to great success.

Rationale Why is this event needed?

Since on sunday is an entirely new company and is being introduced to the New York scene for the first time, an influencer launch event is essential to its initial success. This event will drive awareness for the brand through personal influencer relations. By creating meaningful relationships with editors, bloggers, and potential customers, on sunday will be able to successfully penetrate the New York City’s retail market.

Goals & Objectives What does Interlude hope this event will do for on sunday?

The overall goal of this event is to promote on sunday through an innovated launch event. Successfully executing this event will create lastly relationships between you and your potential customers. Interlude’s objectives for this event include:

Since on sunday is all about fostering meaningful relationships, relaxation, and connecting with the community, the idea of a cocktail brunch seemed perfect. To create the right atmosphere, we will we implementing lush greenery, comfortable seating, ambient music, and of course, delicious food and cocktails. We will serve oysters on the half shell, Bloody Marys, and mimosas to combine both sophistication and the ultimate brunch vibes. The event outcome is to bring awareness and interest to the on sunday customer via influencer relations. By utilizing social media, Interlude will be able to establish immense traction for your brand.

This space will enhance the experience of the event. It is located only 10 minutes, about 2 miles, from on sunday ’s retail space.

About the Space “Located in the heart of Chelsea’s art district, Loft 29 is an artists’ haven! This spacious 2,000 sq. ft. loft is ideal for photo-shoots, film/TV, exclusive events, and more. Designed by a sculptor, all of the elements in this space are truly unique. Many highlights of the space can be seen in the various textures and custom designed furniture.” -Loft 29 Webpage

Invitations

Editor Promo Video

The invitations for the event will be designed in house by Interlude’s graphic designer and will be printed by Aldine Printing. To embody all that on sunday stands for, we will be implementing a sophisticated design that pulls on your love of minimalism, clean designs, and quality. Please reference Appendix B for a both a moodboard and final design of the invitation.

Prior to the event, we will work together to produce a short, 30 second video that gives individuals an idea about who you are, what you stand for, and why they should be interested/excited for on sunday. This video will be a captivating piece sent to prominent editors and bloggers of your choosing. The video will be created and edited by:

Interlude will personally deliver the invites to each guest. The deliveries will take place during the first full week of September 2017 (Sept. 4thSept. 22nd), approximately three weeks prior to the event date. Since the invite will have a QR code that will state whether a guest has RSVPed or not, Interlude will reach out to those who have yet to do so the week of the event to remind them of the upcoming festivities. We will also touch base with those who RSVPed as a happy reminder.

TUCKER MCDONALD Cinematographer Tucker graduated from the Savannah College of Design with a B.F.A in Film and Television. For this reason, you can rest assured that your video will be in the best hands possible.

C AT E R I N G

Catering Brooklyn Oyster Party will be catering the event. Based on their philosophy, “experts serving oysters and making people happy,” we decided that they would be the perfect match for on sunday. Their founder, Kyle Needam, is extremely dedicated to his company and his passion for the ultimate experience shines through. When you visit the company web page, you are greeted by the description:

“When you eat an Oyster you wake up. You are immediately connected to the sea and the salt, the edge of where the water meets the land, to a place beyond time.” Since on sunday is all about the personal connection and building communities, we believed this philosophy was essential when selecting a caterer. Brooklyn Oyster Party will not only cater the event but they will also set up their bar, break it down, and clean up, making their services extremely convenient. Prior to the start of the event, Kyle and his team will arrive on sight to assemble their raw bar. This bar includes: oysters, crushed ice, lemons, mignonette, Tabasco, and napkins. The company will provide two shuckers for the event to man the table for the duration of the event. Brooklyn Oyster Party’s services cost $1,8000. This price covers all of the components listed above. However, it is important to keep in mind that the $1,800 fee does not include New York sales tax or gratuity. However, we will estimate the final cost and will include it in the final cost sheet for you.

Part of William Grant & Sons Inc., Reyka Vodka is located right in New York City. They produce resourcefully made vodka with the finest ingredients from Iceland. We reached out to them in regards to sponsorship and they were excited to commit to your event. Their sponsorship reduces cost due to their contribution of their vodka. Here is what they had to say when we reached out:

Botanicals To enhance the ambiance of the event, we have connected with Putnam & Putnam who have graciously agreed to work with us for your launch. Putnam & Putnam is one of the leading florists not only in the New York City area but in the industry. They will add a whole new level of luxury and sophistication to this event.

“We lean towards dusty antique palettes and interesting textures. Our favorite thing to do is transform spaces with large-scale installation — that’s where our true talents show.-Putnam & Putnam for Refinery 29..” Putnam & Putnam are famously known for their floral arrangements. Their arrangements have graced events put on by Hello Mr., Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Club Monaco, and so many more. By hiring a company with such recognition, you are already positioning yourself high within the industry. As lovely as their flowers are, Interlude believes that vertical hanging gardens would create a very relaxing atmosphere. Putnam & Putnam have put together countless instillations but we believe their instillation for BEC Brittain (seen in the Appendix D), is the best representation for what we will have them do for your launch. Lush greenery of all kinds will be placed on large palettes. These palettes will be even distributed on the back wall of the space, surrounding the bar area. For a better depiction, please refer to the event floor plan in the logistics portion of this proposal.

While we expect a majority of the guests to be standing and mingling, we will be offering a handful of couches for those who wish to sit. Along with the seating, there will be a few other items delivered to Loft 29 by Taylor Creative Inc. Furniture Rentals. Taylor Creative Inc. specializes in event rentals of all kinds. For your event, we have selected the following items:

We will be working with KNAM Media to create personal decals that will be placed throughout Loft 29. These decals keep on sunday’s brand in the forefront of their minds. These decals will read: #ONSUNDAYWE This hashtag will allow us to track social media posts across all channels. It also allows guests to caption their photos. Below this hasthag, there will be various words that represent what one does on Sundays. For example, #onsundawe: rest, relax, recoop., connect, drink coffee, etc.

About the Proprietor

In our initial consultation we discussed various entertainment options. At the time we believed that a live performance of some sort would be best. However, as we have continued the planning process, we have decided that allocating costs elsewhere would the better choice. We also believe that a curated playlist playing softly in the background would be just as effective. The Interlude team will put together a refined list of DJ, Tom Misch’s, music to create the perfect relaxed atmosphere

Since this is a launch and on sunday is a new brand, we believe that giving a quick speech to better connect with your guests would be needed. We admire how fluid and natural you personality is, so this speech will be given whenever you feel most comfortable and should be natural. So, whatever comes to mind in the moment. However, some points we think you should mention are: THANK YOU These individuals are helping you build your brand. If nothing else is said during this speech, it is imperative to thank your guests. Playing, yet again, on the brand’s passion for experience, we will be placing disposable cameras throughout the space. There will be 2 or 3 cameras on each of the small tables at the event. Along with the cameras for the guests, Interlude and on sunday will have their own to take company photos. The exterior of the cameras will be branded to match on sunday’s aesthetic.

At the end of the event, each guest will be able to leave with a gift bag. Based on your requirements, the Interlude team has selected a handful of items that include: BAG OF COFFEE Bella Donovan | Blue Bottle Coffee CANDLE Birch | Makers of Wax Goods

Polaroids are so hard to come by these days. However, they are still extremely special and offer individuals a classic take on the modern selfie. These photos allow the guests to make their memories at your event tangible. The guests will have the option to either take the cameras with them or allow for us to get them disposed. We can then post these images on social media and your company web page.

Aside from the disposable cameras, we have selected Ryker Allen, a student at the School of Visual Arts here in New York City, to shoot the event. If his intimate aesthetic and skill set is not enough to persuade you, his long list of accomplishments in the industry should do the trick. Since we have a highly curated list of high profile attendees, we have reached out to Citadel Security to manage the entrance of the event. Citadel has worked for companies such as CFDA, DKNY, FIT, Asprey, and many more. They are highly qualified to do their job and will ensure that the event will run smoothly and safely. Since this is a relatively small event, we will only need one security guard at the door for the duration of the event.

RYKERALLEN.COM Digital Portfolio Allen will arrive on site roughly 30 minutes to the start of the event. He will photograph the space and get some take-away shots of the various bars. Following the event, we will sit down with Ryker and put together a contact sheet of the 60 best images. After this is assembled, we will email it to you to select 30 images for final edits.

Wait Staff

Glassware

We will be working with NYC Waiters & Services to provide us with wait staff and bartenders. We will have a bar at the event (manned by 2 bartenders) so that the guests are able to see the drinks being created as well as order personal cocktails from the cash bar. On top of this, we will have 4 wait staff walking throughout the event with small trays, carrying the Bloody Mary and mimosa options. These individuals will also be in charge of clearing the empty glasses and placing them in the kitchen area.

We will be renting an excess of glassware to ensure that the cocktails can be poured throughout the entirety of the event. We will be renting from PartyRentals.Us for these glasses. To ensure that this event achieves all we intend for it to do, we will be reaching out to the editors who attended the event the week following the launch. We will communicate with them and finalize articles or posts that reference on sunday. While we expect that social media will warrant a heavy response from the event, we want to ensure that the general public is aware of the event as well, as much as possible. We will formulate a small gift for each editor as a thank you for their time and consideration. As mentioned, social media will play an imperative part of the success of the promotion. There will be a large number of influencers with a immense followings across all platforms. That is why we will be organizing a list of all posts via the hashtag of the event. Our Social Media Director will utilize ViralHeat, a “social media analytics service that allows us to monitor various sites, track twitter, and real-time search and monitoring,” for brand mentions across the web, to provide you with the most accurate and current information.
