Enjoy cuisine from more than 20 of London’s best restaurants including Michelin-starred Jamavar and Barrafina and some of our city’s most popular dining hotspots such as Kricket and BAO. There are so many delicious dishes to devour here at Taste, we just hope you’ve come hungry! This year we are honoured to be shining a light on the chefs at the helm of the most exciting and innovative eateries in the capital; the guys who have brought the fun to fine dining. Catch them in action at the AEG Taste Theatre in association with Etihad Airways, or at the brand new Disaronno Fire Pit with Kadai Firebowls. Sweet dreams are indeed made of cheese so we are super excited to be hosting the world’s biggest homage to fromage – the World Cheese Awards – here at Taste. World Cheese Awards With London maturing into a global centre of fine food, Taste of London plays host to the largest cheese competition on the planet – The World Cheese Awards. We welcome the global cheese community to Tobacco Dock for the 30th anniversary of the awards, celebrating the world’s finest fromages with 3,000 cheeses from 35 countries!

What’s On THURSDAY EVENING: At 7.30pm catch a special preview of the World Cheese Awards at the AEG Taste Theatre in association with Etihad Airways. Charlie Turnbull, a WCA judge, will host a cheese tasting masterclass, with the first 120 people in the theatre offered the chance to taste award-winning cheeses. FRIDAY AFTERNOON: With World Cheese Awards judging underway, catch a sneak preview of what’s going on in the judging hall through the window, on the relay screens or with live interviews from Official Cheese Correspondent, Jo Pickard. At 3pm head to the World Cheese Market to catch the ceremonial breaking of a wheel of the new “Parma 2064” followed by a tasting of the “Parma 2064 Parmigiano Reggiano” – a brand new Halal cheese.

FRIDAY EVENING: Be the first to discover which cheese has been crowned World Champion Cheese – keep an eye on the screens outside the World Cheese Awards judging hall! At 9pm catch live interviews outside the judging hall with some of the experts from the World Cheese Awards 2017 and find out their highlights from this exciting day of judging. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ALL DAY: Cheese Tasting Tours with the World Cheese Awards. Any self-respecting curd nerd should not miss the opportunity to get inside the giant cheese cave to taste some award-winning cheeses! Head to the World Cheese Awards judging hall to book onto one of the cheese tasting tours including: ‘How to eat cheese’, ‘Pimp my cheese’ and ‘Cheese – when red wine fails’. Hurry – places are limited! THROUGHOUT THE EVENT: Check out the World Cheese Markets and the World Cheese Deli by Buchanan’s to get yourself stocked up with the world’s best cheese selection this Christmas.
