This is Squirrel. Squirrel likes to collect things.
Small things.
Big things.
SHIN Y things. Anything really . . .
Squirrel’s most favourite of all things was her special acorn. It was lovely but Squirrel still wanted more.
In fact, the more she had the more she wanted!
Squirrel came across Bear who was playing with his hula hoop.
“Wow! What an excellent thing,” thought Squirrel.
And just like that Squirrel snatched it up. “Hey I was using that!” growled Bear. “No, I don’t think you were!” said Squirrel as she raced off.
After Squirrel took Bear’s hula hoop back to her tree, she set out to look for more things.
“Hmm . . . Frog’s paints . . .” thought Squirrel. “I’ll definitely need those more than he will . . .
And Snake won’t be needing these . . .
And I can’t see how Bird could possibly need this more than I do.”
“I’ll just be taking
“Why thank
“Yoink!”
this Rabbit.”
you Fox!”
So Squirrel set off in search of more things for her collection. She soon found her way into Moose’s garden. “Hmm,” thought Squirrel. “Moose’s flowers really are quite lovely. They would look fantastic in my tree!”
“That’s it!” Moose snorted, “Let’s go and get our things!”
