Win a 3-month, all expenses paid internship with Foundations for Farming in Zimbabwe – the adventure of a lifetime awaits! February – April, 2018 Foundations for Farming Harare, Zimbabwe Application Deadline: October 15, 2017 The successful applicant will work alongside the Foundations for Farming trainers as they disciple and equip subsistence farmers to become profitable from their small farms in some of the harshest climates on the planet using simple climate-smart methods of sustainable agriculture. Activities will include traveling to some of the most remote parts of Southern Africa to visit marginalized communities and preparing for an international conference in March. What’s Included: All lodging, meals, in-country transportation, and trips to the African bush. *Winner is responsible for international flights to and from Zimbabwe and their Visa. Intern will walk away with: • A Foundations for Farming trainer certification in conservation agriculture • 100+ hours of community outreach and international development experience • Demonstrated knowledge of climate-smart methods for community resiliency • An understanding of the spiritual battles in Zimbabwe • Unbelievable experiences and memories that last a lifetime.
