Concept Statment Users: The Users will be prospective employers and coworkers, along with friends and family. They will want to see my work displayed in a way that gives them a sense of who i am.

Intended Audience:

The Audience is definitley potential employers looking for my kind of work style. I will need to persude them of my style and my capabilites.

Promote my:

The site will be used to promote my work.

create something unique.

My Identity system, Advertisment, Newletter, Magazine Spreads, App designs, package designs, web interface designs.

All of them exist I just need to expand on them and fine tune them.

Goals of the site are: Convey my illustrative style but also show diversity. My ultimate message/philosophy (about who you are): I am an Illustrator that can combine the structure of Graphic Design to Which 7 projects?

What projects which do not exist yet will you want to show? What categories will you depict in your mockup?

Concept Statement:

My website is designed to showcase my individual work and style to promote interest in my work environment. Targets for my webpage will be possible employer's, clients, and co-workers. To promote my style and work effectively, I will have examples of each of the major projects that are geared towards real life clientele and subjects of a social nature. Individual projects shown on the site will be my Identity System, Magazine layouts, my final website design, my concept book of sketches and creative processes, newsletter designs, infographic styles, and logo development. The website will be professionally built and showcase these pieces and my artistic value effectively. The website will use a parallax and vertical scrolling system with my own custom backgrounds.

The Art of Stained Glass

The classical windows of the Renaissance used these past tier designs, but used more circular and boxing design aspects to their glass. The colors used with these glass windows were also more realistic and diverse then their earlier counterparts.

The most famous works of Stained glass are found in Europe in the great Gothic Cathedrals. They commonly depict stories in historical text, biblical text, or literature. Each country also had certain design ZWLJPÄJZ [OL` JOVZL [V PTWSLTLU[ ^OPSL setting the glass. France perhaps had the more well known pieces including Charlemagne, the detailed 13th century Chartes *H[OLKYHS ^PUKV^ HUK [OL *Y\JPÄ_[PVU window at the Poitiers Cathedral. The French artists used a design that was a crested moon with columns leading vertically down from the crescent point.

During the Medieval times, silica was the main ingredient to make glass. :[HPULK NSHZZ JHTL PU Ä]L KPZ[PUJ[ types and colors. Blue, Red, Yellow, (or gold), purple, and white. All of these used alchemical items that were used from rocks, minerals, and ground elements.

Shaping and integrating the glass into the design required the use of JHTLZ VY H ZWLJPÄJHSS` KLZPNULK divider. All the joints of the piece were then soldered together, preventing the glass from rattling and the window rain and wind proof. In the traditional Renaissance period the windows were divided into sections and put into the desired space using ferramenta, or heavy metal frames.
